Hi, everyone! How about another sneak peek of a new set by Our Daily Bread designs? This is simply called "Apples".....I LOVE this set and will wear it out for sure!! Isn't this the sweetest sentiment?!
This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to choose an item from the Eskayel store......I chose this fabric with rust, red, and green patterns. The Friday Free4 All Challenge was to use primary colors red, blue, yellow, or a combination of them....I used red, blue and blue+yellow=green!
How did I create this scene? The "Apples" image was stamped in Stazon Jet Black permanent ink onto a square white piece of cardstock and also onto a piece of scratch paper. The scratch paper image was cut out (just inside the lines) and placed over the image on the cardstock as a mask (to protect the image while the background was sponged). I cut a long rounded piece from another piece of scratch paper with my craft knife in order to sponge the grassy hill. The clouds were sponged over the edge of a punched scallop circle. After all of the sponging was done, the mask was removed from the apple bushel and the image was partially watercolored and the rest was colored with markers. Paper piercing was added, along with baker's twine and red gemstones, then popped up over a rust-colored card.
Thanks for visiting! Come back tomorrow for the ODBD New Releases!!
Oh, don't forget.....today is the last day for the Dog Days of Summer Sale over at Our Daily Bread designs.....20% off of all in-stock stamps and dies!!!!!

The Smallest Seed of Faith
Hello there!!! Three days and counting until the new releases will be revealed over at Our Daily Bread designs, but you are getting a preview right now! The sentiment I have used is from the new "Apples" set. I can't wait to show you the entire stamp set......it's amazing!!!!
I used the (retired) "Nested Apples" Spellbinders die set to cut out the apple, stenciled the panel with green ink, free-hand paper pierced it, then adhered it over a blue-jean panel which was cut from a pair of torn jeans which my brother donated to me several years ago.....I have used the jeans for many projects and have plenty of material left to last a couple of more years!!
I will be submitting this card for a couple of challenges around blog land this week:
The Mojo Sketch #308 (at the left).....since I flipped the sketch for my card, I flipped the sample photo so that it was recognizable;
The Word Art Wednesday challenge is "Anything Goes", as long as you share a wonderful message.
Before I go, just wanted to let everyone know that there is a big sale going on at Our Daily Bread designs until the last day of August. No code needed, but all stamps and dies are 20% off....woo hoo!!!! Check out the details on this post!
Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Blessings
Hello! This is a quick birthday card I made for a friend, using the Dynamic Duos Challenge, to use Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe (plus neutrals). The card design was cased from this week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast, Gabby aka gabalot. Gabby's gallery is full of fun and beautiful creations......I chose this beautiful card to recreate, using the Be Joyful set by Our Daily Bread designs. I had originally planned to color in part of the images with a white gel pen, but none of my gel pens would cooperate, so I used a glitter pen instead and sprayed Pearl Glimmer Mist over the card when it was finished. Unfortunately, sparkly/shimmery substances are very difficult to photograph without causing too much glare, so the photo does not show the true shimmer as in real life.
Thanks again for visiting! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Rustic Barn Birthday
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Heidi Baks aka hlw966.......congrats, Heidi! I chose this card to re-create from her fabulous gallery. I loved the simple layout with minimal layers and a wonderful scene. For this masculine birthday card, I have used the "Barn" image from North Coast Creations and the sentiment is from "Find Beauty", also from NCC. The image was stamped in black onto kraft cardstock, colored with markers, edges sponged, matted, then paper pierced.
Thanks for visiting!

Saturday Stamping....my Fave!!
Happy Saturday, everyone!!! Saturday morning is my most favorite time to stamp, since I don't have to go to work (yay!) and also because I LOVE to play along with the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast. Today's challenge is to find an item from the Winter Water Factory store......I really like the crisp navy and white design of this adorable dress, so I created a birthday card with the "Fishing Net Background" and "The Waves on the Sea" stamps from Our Daily Bread designs.
Also this morning, I created a card using the pine branch from the "ODBD Fancy Foliage" die set as a tree.....I love using stamps and dies in ways which they were not originally intended! I love getting the most out of every stamping tool I own! Though I'm a bit late, this card is for the Featured Stamper Challenge from last Sunday.....Joyce aka ashjoy has a fabulous gallery and I fell in love with this super cute card. The scripture verse I have used is from the "Pickles" set. The designer papers I used are both from the Prima "Sunkiss" 6x6 pack.....I love the country feel to it!
Thanks for visiting with me today!
Have a very blessed weekend!!

'Unfrogettable' Name Frame and Card
Hi, everyone! Today's Friday Free 4 All Challenge is all about "dots"....though I haven't used polka dots, the toad stools have plenty of dots instead. This is a baby shower gift and card.
For the nameframe, I used Stampin Up' Headline Alphabet' and 'Unfrogettable'. The designer paper is SU also, but has been retired for many years.....I'll be sad when my stash runs out!
For the card, I combined the 'Unfrogettable' set with a sentiment from the Our Daily Bread designs 'Noah's Ark' set.
Thank for stopping by!

Pool Time Buford
Hi, everyone! I took a vacation day today....just because.....so I spent the morning stamping....ahhhhh!! I had a blast making this birthday card for my nephew. This super cute stamp is "Pool Time Buford" from North Coast Creations......their line of Crazy Critter stamps are so fun!! The sentiment is from another NCC set, "Heaven's Masterpiece". I have used the Sketch Challenge and Ways To Use It "Sun Rays" Challenge from Splitcoast Stampers.
The designer paper is Basic Grey "Lauderdale" and the scene was sponged using masking and scratch paper.

"Gazebo" Get Well Card
Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a get well card which I made for my Aunt Sarah, who has recently had some health issues. Just wanted to show her how much I love her and that I'm praying for her.
I have used the "Gazebo" image by North Coast Creations. The shaped card was cut out with a Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Circle Die, then layered with a Circle Nestabilities die. I will be submitting this card for the Dynamic Duos Challenge, which is to use Blushing Bride and Pistachio Pudding.

"Kind Thoughts" Nursery Nameframe
Hi, everyone! This week's Ways To Use It Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers is to stamp your own background. The background of this nameframe, a baby shower gift, was stamped one flourish at a time (Stampin Up "Kind Thoughts" set), with a Stamp-a-ma-jig stamp positioner. It took a couple of hours just to stamp and color the background, but it was worth it since it matched the nursery items (from Babies-r-us, shown below) so well! I did not have enough chipboard letters for the entire frame, so I traced all of the letters needed onto cardstock, cut them out, then heat-embossed them in black to match the frame. Please click on the photo if you'd like to see a close-up.
This bedding set is called "Lambs & Ivy"....what a beautiful, elegant nursery design!!!
Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks Berry Much!
Hello!!! Today's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is the talented Wanda Guess aka stampcatwg....congrats, Wanda!!! What a fun gallery!! I chose this beautiful card as inspiration to help me create this thank you card. I will also be submitting this card to five Dare To Get Dirty Challenges as well, along with the Dynamic Duo blog challenge to use Strawberry Slush and Daffodil Delight.
The stamps I have used are new from Our Daily Bread designs, called "Strawberries". The image was stamped in Stazon Jet Black and then watercolored. For the embossed layer, I used a technique where the embossing folder is inked up on one side before embossing the cardstock....the color is pressed into the debossed area. The paper flower was cut out with Spellbinders "Cherry Blossoms" dies and the leaves are from the new "ODBD Fancy Foliage Dies" set. The little tag was cut from the "Recipe Card and Tags Dies" set.

Blessings Come Down!
Hello! I have another card to share which I made for quite a few challenges over at Splitcoast. Can't share the details of the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges I have used, but I can tell you that the Friday Free 4 All Challenge is to use arrows....I cut "arrow" shapes from the grosgrain ribbon and there are arrows in the sentiment from the ODBD set, "Blessings".
Thanks for stopping by again! I've got more stamping to do today, so there might be another post later....just wanted to warn you! :)

Hi, everyone! I'm so happy that it's Saturday.....time for more stamping!!!! I will be submitting this project for several Dare To Get Dirty Challenges at Splitcoast Stampers, along with today's Inspiration Challenge #400......I LOVE coffee and would drink it all day if I could, so I chose this inspirational piece, from National Geographic, which I would love to have for my stamp room!!
For my project, I used the Tote-All Package template from My Time Made Easy...this was very fun and pretty simple to make....and extra fun to decorate!!! The sentiment is from the Bold Botanicals Digital Stamp Set and the pattern paper is Botanical Beauties 'Sunflower Sprinkles'.
Here are some additional views.....a close up of the front and one of the back which has the cutest pocket! The cardstock I used is espresso brown, although it looks like black in the photos.
The flower is by Prima, the ribbon by May Arts, the pearls are from Zva Creative, and the sentiment panel and mat were cut out with Spellbinders Labels Four which matched the design of the tote flap.
Thanks for stopping by today!

I have created two new samples for the release today and have also added some previously seen sneak peeks as well. These are the stamps and dies which are featured below:
My first sample features a fun set, "I Dig You". The bottom of the image panel was sponged in brown, then speckled with a marker tip. The "neighborhood" and clouds were cut out from Memory Box dies, the fence was cut out with the ODBD Fence Die. I used a craft knife to cut an opening for the edge of the shovel to go through the panel.
My second sample features the "Strawberries and Pickles", "Garden Sentiments", and the "Fancy Foliage Dies" set. Multiple strawberries, small and large, were stamped, colored, cut out, then placed around a circle which was stamped with the "Gingham Background". The large flourish from the "Fancy Foliage Dies" was cut out twice and cut into small pieces which was placed around the "Strawberry Wreath". Though it took a while to cut and color all of the berries, this was a very fun card to make!
Here are some "replays" of some sneak peeks from earlier in the week:
Thanks for hanging out with us today!
