Foiled Flower Petal Birthday

Hi, everyone! This week's Color Challenge colors over at Splitcoast are very close to the pastel foil cardstock pack which I got from Michael's, however, I did not go with the dessert option of 'spooky'. My card today is for my great niece's birthday. The following dies from Divinity Designs LLC were used: Flower Petals Layering Combo, Flourished Square Background, Family Names 3, and the Square Card Base with Layer set.  Foam Mounting Tape was used to pop up the layers.  Some of the gold die cut pieces from the background die were used to embellish the corners, along with gemstones.

Be The Person Your Dog Thinks You Are

Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a card which I personalized for my nephew's birthday. I will be submitting this for the 2023 "Card Design Superstar: Clean and Simple Genius" Challenge over at My Favorite Things. My nephew's pup is a Spanish Waterdog, with curly fur, so I water-colored tiny circles with caramel ink onto the image from the 'You Make My Tail Wag' set.  I chose a lime green card base instead of plain ole white and chose a fun plaid pattern from an MFT paper pad on which to stamp the doggie bed.  My MISTI was used to center and line up the sentiment stamp.

Flowers for a Friend

Hi, everyone! This week's Color Challenge over at Splitcoast is to use Yellow, Coral, and Pumpkin. The 'dessert' option is to use another color, I chose aqua to blend onto the card base behind the flowers. The flowers are from a Simon Says Stamp set I bought over a year ago and the sentiment is from a Memory Box/Simon Says Stamp exclusive from two years ago. The flowers were stamped in my MISTI to get good coverage, then they were fussy cut and sponged with the three colors. A clear glaze pen was used on some of the stamens and leaves for a 'Glaze Pen Resist' effect.

Be Amazing - 3D Lion

Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Brian aka ZPaw.....congrats, Brian!! I chose this awesome lion card from Brian's gallery to case today.  The image from Gray Wolf Graphics and the word dies from Top Dog Dies are unfortunately unavailable to buy these days since both companies are out of business. The lion image was stamped multiple times, fussy cut, and layered to create a 3D look.  A clear glaze pen coated the eyes to make them look realistic.  For the card base, a Cajun Craze Ink pad was swiped across creating a Faux Wood look. A small hole punch was used to create the faux brads.  The image was framed with the following dies from Divinity Designs LLC: Oval Stitched Rows and Ovals.

Faithful Tulips

Happy Friday, everyone! This week's Friday Free4All Challenge theme over at Splitcoast is 'Think Pink'. For my card today, I used the Tulips Stamp/Die Duos set from Divinity Designs LLC, along with the following dies: Mini Slimline Card Base, Mini Slimline Scalloped Rectangles, Mini Slimline Rectangles, Clouds and Raindrops (die cut a stencil for the sky). The tulips were stamped in Stazon Jet Black using my MISTI to get good ink coverage on the watercolor paper; an aquabrush was used to paint the tulips.  Pink baker's twine was used for a simple embellishment.

Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from 'The Classy Home'. This card is for my hubby since our favorite 'quality time' is spent watching our weekly shows on the DVR. The card base and layers were cut with the following dies from Divinity Designs LLC: Mini Slimline Card Base, Mini Slimline Rectangles, Mini Slimline Layering Rectangles.

Divinity Designs LLC September New Release!

Hi, everyone! It's time for another fabulous release from Divinity Designs LLC! Check out the entire release HERE or join us on Instagram

Here are the new products featured in my three samples for today:

For my first sample, I paired green foil cardstock with my fave pattern from the Wedding Flowers Paper Pad.  The floral image from the 'Special Person' Stamp/Die Duos set reminded me of this designer paper, so I had to pair them together!  Here are the additional products featured in my card: Accordion Fold with Layers Dies, Accordion Fold Add-On Die, Someone Special Dies, Ornamental Oval Set Dies, Happy Birthday Mini Dies ('to'), Butterfly Trio Dies.  The diamond shape embellishments are leftover cut-outs from the Ornamental Oval Die.  The ovals on the inside panel are part of the Ornamental Oval Die Set.
Next is a masculine design featuring the 'Special Person' Stamp/Die Duos set, Someone Special Dies, a neutral pattern from the Menswear Material Paper Pad, and the following Dies: Letter Board, Slimline Rectangles, Slimline Layering Rectangles, Basket Weave Square Background, Squares, Square Card Base with Layer. Foam Mounting Tape was used to pop up the background and a Blending Brush was used to accent the letters and sentiment panel.
My thirds sample today features one of my fave patterns from the Pretty Pink Peonies Paper Pad and the image and a sentiment from 'Special Person' Stamp/Die Duos, embossed in gold onto vellum.  For the image, the coloring was done on the underside of the vellum with markers before adhering it to a white layer. Both of the vellum panels were ran through a Xyron Sticker Maker so that there were no adhesive marks showing through once they were adhered.  Another flower layer was cut from gold foil cardstock. Other dies featured: Ornamental Oval Set, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer. Gold pearls and pink baker's twine were added as embellishments.
