You Are Awesome!

Hi, everyone!  This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Akiko aka apsudano.....congrats, Akiko!  I chose this beautiful card from her gallery as inspiration to create a birthday card for one of my sisters.  I used the following items from Divinity Designs LLC: Already There Stamp/Die Duos (hummingbird and sentiment), Bitty Blossoms, Treat Tags Dies, Mixed Media Stencil: Half Circles, Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies set, Blending Brushes, and Crystals.  I used the stencil as an embossing folder then sponged the center portion before lifting the stencil.

Sweet As A Peach

Hi, everyone!  This week's Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast is to make a ten-minute card, so I am sharing this quick one layer card which I mailed to my aunt for her birthday.  The stamps are from Stampin Up, called 'Sweet As A Peach'....there are matching dies and designer paper (yummy!) but I only had a few minutes to get a card ready before heading to work.

Play Ball!

Hi, everyone!  This week's Featured Stamper's username over at Splitcoast is paseely!  I chose this fun baseball card as inspiration for my card for a co-worker who loves the New York Yankees.  Instead of a shaker card, I made a window card with a view to the inside panel. Here are all of the items from Divinity Designs LLC used to create this card: Baseball Stamp/Die Duos stamp set, Paper: Menswear Material Collection; Dies: Floating Frame Front, Sentiment Strips 2, Double Stitched Pennant Flags, Double Stitched Squares, Squares, and the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer.

Birthday Blossoms

Hi, everyone!  I needed two quick birthday cards to put in the mail before leaving for work this morning and today's Color Challenge over at Splitcoast was absolutely perfect!!  The flowers from 'Blossoms in Bloom' (by Stampin Up) were inked with Crisp Cantaloupe, the centers and edges were sponged with Calypso Coral and then stamped onto a one layer white card base.  Pear Pizazz ink was used for the leaves and sentiment and tiny gemstones were added as a simple embellishment.  Oh, I did use Barely Banana for the flower centers....I hope that would be considered a neutral? I can't wait to try this same design with many different color combinations....so quick and easy!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Divinity Designs LLC August New Release

Hi, everyone!  Welcome to the August new release party for Divinity Designs LLC!!!  This month's theme is all about hitting the beach and I'm loving it!!!!  To see the full release plus some amazing design team samples, please click HERE!

Here are the new items featured in my post today:

My first card is a "clean and layered" birthday card for my nephew, featuring the 'Vitamin Sea' Stamp/Die Duos set, a fabulous pattern from the 'Beautiful Beaches' Slimline Paper Pad, and the following dies: Pierced Rectangles, Double Stitched Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, and the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer.

My next card was a blast to make!!  I used the Blender Brushes Set of 2 and turquoise and lime ink with the new 'Water Spray' Mixed Media Stencil; once the ink blending was finished, tiny Crystal Pixie Gems were added.  The sentiment is from the 'Jesus Saves' stamp set.  The following custom dies were used as well: Square Card Base with Layer, Double Stitched Squares, Double Stitched Circles, Circles.
Next up is a fun card which was created for my brother-in-law's birthday.  The image from 'Jesus Saves' was stamped directly onto the designer paper from the 'Beautiful Beaches' Slimline Paper Pad, then colored with markers and a white gel pen.  The custom dies used are as follows: Square Card Base with Layer, Double Stitched Squares, Squares, Double Stitched Pennant Flags, Pennant Flags.
My fourth card for today is a birthday card for my sister, who LOVES the beach....she and her family recently came back from a beachy vacation so I just had to use this set for her card!  The seagull and sentiment are from the 'Vitamin Sea' Stamp/Die Duos set; the scene behind the gull and the sand beneath the Basket Weave Square Background Die are both patterns from the 'Beautiful Beaches' Paper Pad; additional dies used: Square Card Base with Layer, Double Stitched Squares, Squares, Double Stitched Pennant Flags.

Thanks for hanging out with us today!
