Divinity Designs LLC - December Birthday Flower of the Month

Hi, everyone!  It's time to share the 12th Birthday Flower of the Month set from Divinity Designs LLC....this past year went fast!  This month's flower is the Narcissus. To find out more about the Birthday Flower of the Month sets, please click HERE.

Instead of making just a card with the December flower, I jumped in with both feet and created a 12x12 scrapbook layout using all twelve flowers!  Each of the flowers and sentiments were stamped on white vellum; the images were colored with markers on the reverse side, then attached to white cardstock using adhesive sheets, then cut out with the coordinating dies.  The header was created using Slimline Rectangles and Slimline Pierced Rectangles; each piece was "resized" in order to fit the letters perfectly.  The letters were cut with the Alphabet Caps Dies.  All of the pieces were popped up with Foam Mounting Tape.

Good Luck Golf Outing

Happy Friday, everyone!  This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to have a good luck message along with a splash of green.  My co-worker LOVES to play golf so I created this for his birthday.  The scene was stamped with 'Silhouette Forest' by Blue Knight Stamps; the golf flag was hand drawn (definitely shows why I am not a sketch artist!), and the scripture verse is from the 'Golf' Stamp/Die Duos set by Divinity Designs LLC. The scene was cut out with a Rectangle Die and the frame was cut with the A2 Thin Pierced Frame Die.

NFL Birthday x 2

Hi, everyone!  This week's Ways To Use It Challenge theme is 'It's a Banner Day!', so I am posting two birthday cards I made recently, one for a co-worker and one for a friend to give to his brother.  For both cards, I used the same items, but personalized them with added touches to match the official jerseys.  The stripes on the sleeves were drawn with a journal pen and ruler on a separate piece of cardstock and colored with markers, fussy cut, then glued onto the jerseys.  The numbers were fussy cut even though there are coordinating dies.....I didn't want the white outline. For the banners, I used the die re-sizing technique to match the size of the sentiment stamp.  Other than the stars embossing folders, the rest of the items used are from Divinity Designs LLC: All-Star Jerseys Stamp/Die Duos, Rectangles Dies, Sparkling Stars Dies, Pennant Flags Dies, Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies, Foam Mounting Tape.

Hi, everyone!  This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Gerry aka vegasgem....congrsats, Gerry!  I chose this fun dino birthday card to case today....I loved the fun colors and the three cute dinosaurs.  For my card, I went with similar colors but changed the layout so that I could use this cute set from Divinity Designs LLC, Dinosaurs Stamp/Die Duos.  The paper is from the Birthday Brights Paper Pad and here are the dies used: Pierced Frames, A2 Thin Pierced Frame, and the A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer.  The dinos were colored with markers and popped up with Foam Mounting Tape.

Gone Fishing

Hi, everyone!  This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from Wildlife Wonders.....this throw blanket reminded me of the 'Great Catch' Stamp/Die Duos set from Divinity Designs LLC.  When I opened the stamp case, I found that I had water-colored an image previously so this card went together really quickly.....yay!!  For the background scene, I used the following: Slimline Mountain Silhouette Dies, Slimline Curvy Slopes Dies, Grass Border Die, Pierced Rectangles Dies, Matting Rectangle Die, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer Dies, and a pattern from the Heavenly Skies Slimline Paper Pad.  The bass and lure were popped up with Foam Mounting Tape.

More Fun Samples from May New Release!

Hi, everyone!  Today I would like to share two more samples created with the May new releases from Divinity Designs LLC.

My first card gave me the giggles when it was finished!  It features the Dinosaur Stamp/Die Duos set, along with the Geometric Paper Pad and the following dies: Bethlehem (trees), Slimline Tree and Hill Silhouettes, Floating Frame Front, Matting Rectangle, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer, and Clouds and Raindrops (sponged clouds). The frame and dino's were popped up with Foam Mounting Tape for dimension and Blending Brushes were used for most of the coloring. (My secret for coloring is to use a clear glaze pen on all of the items which will stay white, then colored the dino's with blending brushes in different yellow and green tones.  Since I don't have Copics, this method is my fave way to get a smooth look.)

I had fun creating my second card as well.  I began with Blending Brushes and ink on a slimline sized panel to create the water and sunset, then used the Pierced Waves Background Die twice in order to create enough for the three sections. The trees were cut with the Bethlehem Dies, the "sandy dune" was cut with the Slimline Tree and Hill Silhouettes Dies, and the sentiment was stamped and cut with the All Occasions Stamp/Die Duos set.  The Slimline Pierced Large Windows Frame was popped up with Foam Mounting Tape over the scene. Other dies used are the Slimline Pierced Rectangles and Slimline Card Base.

Monster Birthday x 2!

Hi, everyone!  This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Colleen aka Katchoo1.....congrats, Colleen!!  I thought this monster card was so cute and I love the green and purple combo, so I decided to use it for inspiration for birthday cards for two of my newphews.  I used the "Little Monsters" Stamp/Die Duos set from Divinity Designs LLC for their cards.  The first card has a Wrinkle Free Distress background created with navy, green, and purple inks.  Other items used for both cards: Pierced Rectangles Dies, Pierced Ovals Dies, Ovals Dies, Matting Rectangle Die, Sentiment Strips 2 Dies, and the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies.  The monsters were stamped in Stazon Jet Black, then water-colored and popped up with foam tape.

For the next card, the same stamp set, dies, and inks were used, along with the Bubbles stencil and Blending Brushes, also from Divinity Designs.

My next card was a blast to make!!  I used the Blender Brushes Set of 2 and turquoise and lime ink with the new 'Water Spray' Mixed Media Stencil; once the ink blending was finished, tiny Crystal Pixie Gems were added.  The sentiment is from the 'Jesus Saves' stamp set.  The following custom dies were used as well: Square Card Base with Layer, Double Stitched Squares, Double Stitched Circles, Circles.

Divinity Designs LLC March New Release

Hi, everyone!  Welcome to the Divinity Designs LLC March New Release party!!  To see the entire new release plus all of the gorgeous designer samples, please visit the Divinity Designs LLC Blog...wow, it's another amazing release!!!

Here are the new products featured in my three samples for today:

My first card features the following dies: Quatrefoil Background, Cross Layering Combo, Inspiration Words, Fancy Circles, Pierced Circles (to cut out the center of the Fancy Circle), Ornate Ovals, Scalloped Rectangles, and A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer.  All of the layers were cut from either Ivory Shimmer or Light Peach Shimmer cardstock....the photo does not capture how pearly and delish the papers are!!  The Quatrefoil Background was cut and embossed, then with the pieces still in the die, a sticker panel (created with a Xyron sticker maker) was pressed onto the backside of the die in order to lift all of the pieces out at once.  For the Cross Layering Combo Dies, each layer was alternated with the peach and ivory cardstock.

My second card is a slimline design created with the following dies: Slimline Quatrefoil Background, Slimline Scalloped Rectangles, Slimline Layering Rectangles, Slimline Grasses, Slimline Card Base, Large Letters, I Love You.  The letters were cut from the Spring Flowers 2019 Paper Collection and the butterflies are from the Butterfly and Bugs Stamp/Die Duos set. There was nothing difficult about this card....just simple die cutting and layering.

My third sample features the 'Be Still' stamp set, Easter Card Collection 2016 Paper Pad and the following custom dies: Cross Layering Combo, Quatrefoil Background, Mini Tags, Matting Rectangle, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer. The scripture verse from 'Be Still' was gold embossed onto vellum and adhered to a pattern from the Easter Card Collection 2016 Paper Pad then cut out with the largest cross die from the Cross Layering Combo.

Thanks for hanging out with us today!!
