Happy Wedding Day Gatefold

Hi, everyone!  I am in love with this month's release from Divinity Designs LLC!!  The floral patterns from the new 'Wedding Flowers' Paper Pad are sooooo gorgeous!!  I used my favorite pattern for this gatefold design.  This front view shows the card closed and wrapped with the Belly Band Dies, decorated with the Mr. and Mrs. with Layers Dies, Spiral Sphere Die, Fancy Flourish Die.  The card base and layers were cut out with the Gatefold Card with Layers Dies and the tiny hearts are from the Clouds and Raindrops Dies.

This is the inside view......more of the delish designer paper from the 'Wedding Flowers' Paper Pad, plus I added a gift card holder which was cut with the 'Gift Card Pockets and Layers' Dies; a sentiment from the 'Lovebirds' stamp set was added to the gift card layer.  More tiny hearts were added along with a flower and leaves cut from the Bitty Blossoms Dies.

All-Star Wrestling Card

Hi, everyone!  This week's Ways To Use It Challenge theme over at Splitcoast is 'All Stars'.  My card today was created for a young man who is excelling on his high school wrestling team; the jaguar is the school mascot and his wrestling uniform is red and white.  I printed out the jaguar image from the school's website, fussy cut the pieces, temporarily adhered them to red cardstock, then cut out the individual pieces which were then adhered to the white panel. The background panel was embossed with a tiny star embossing folder.  The dies I used are from Divinity Designs LLC: Sparkling Stars, Pierced Squares, A2 Thin Pierced Frame, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer, and Pierced Rectangles (on the inside).  The jaguar and tiny stars were coated with a clear glaze pen, so the photo makes them look darker. The frame and panels were popped up with Foam Mounting Tape. On the inside is a scripture verse from the 'Teamwork' stamp set which reads, 'Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.' 1 Cor 10:31.

Birthday Bouquet for Mom

Hi, everyone!  This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Wendy aka Mingo.....congrats, Wendy!! I was inspired by this beautiful floral card, with the lavender color and leaves stamped under the popped up flowers.  For my card, I chose lavender for the card base, stamped the image in Versamark onto the card base.  The stamps and dies are from the 'Blessings of Home' bundle, from Stampin Up.  The image and sentiment were stamped onto watercolor paper with Stazon Jet Black; the image was water-colored and the sentiment was cut out with the Sentiment Strips 2 Dies from Divinity Designs LLC.

Divinity Designs LLC April New Release!

Hi, everyone!  This month's new release from Divinity Designs LLC is all about LOVE!! Check out all of the new stamps, dies, paper, and many AMAZING samples HERE!

Below are the new items featured in my post today.  For previously released items, please click on the links in each paragraph.

My first card features the new 'Love Birds' stamp set (LOVE this set so much!),  along with the Gatefold Card with Layers Dies, Wedding Flowers Paper Pad, Pierced Wedding Ring Background Die, Belly Band Dies, Scalloped Circles Dies, Pierced Circles Dies, Circles Dies, Clouds and Raindrops Dies (tiny hearts), Scalloped Rectangles Dies, Pierced Rectangles Dies, and Blending Brushes.  The birds were stamped with Stazon Jet Black onto Watercolor paper; the images were water-colored and while the panel was still in the die, pink ink was brushed on to create a soft background.

For my next card, I used the Pierced Wedding Ring Background Die, Mr. and Mrs. with Layers Dies, Wedding Flowers Paper Pad, Layering Hearts Dies, Clouds and Raindrops Dies, Mini Stitched Shaker Charms Dies, Pixie Gems, Foam Mounting Tape, and Blending Brushes.  The inside panel below features the same pattern from the Wedding Flowers Paper Pad, the Faith Hope Love stamp, along with the Pierced Rectangles Dies and Matting Rectangle; the card was cut with the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies.

My third card features the Lovebirds set (this time colored accurately!), along with a fun tropical pattern from the Cool and Casual Paper Pad, and the following dies: Ferns, Scalloped Rectangles, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, Scalloped Circles, Pierced Circles, Circles, A2 Portrait Card Base with LayerBlending Brushes were used to color the sentiment panel and Foam Mounting Tape was used to give dimension to the image and sentiment panels.  The image was stamped with Stazon Jet Black onto watercolor paper; I looked at a photo while water-coloring the Lovebirds so that I could get the colors right! I LOVE how it turned out and may have to make another card for  myself!!! :)

Mighty Warrior

Hi, everyone!  This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is 'Renewal - Old to New'....use something old, recycled, remake a previous card, etc.  My nephew recently joined the Army, so I created a card for him based on this card which I created back in 2018.  The card is nearly identical, but the new version has more sponging and more layering. All of the items used are from Divinity Designs LLC:  'Not Forgotten', 'Rope Background', 'Wood Fish Mini' (tiny cross); Dies: Large Banners, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer, Sparkling Stars, Alphabet Flags.

Rustic Wooded Birthday x 3

Hi, everyone!  This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Gayle aka fostergaylej....congrats, Gayle!!  This awesome scenic card reminded me of the 'Reflections' set by The Greetery which I picked up during the Black Friday sales last fall but had not used yet.  Using the MISTI, I duplicated this scene on three different background panels.  I used a piece of scratch paper to make sure each layer stamp was lined up correctly, then inserted each of the good panels and made three cards easily by doing this!! One scene was stamped on a wood-grain pattern from the 'Weathered Wood' Paper Collection by Divinity Designs LLC, one scene was stamped onto white cardstock (overstamped with the Wood Background Stamp by Divinity Designs LLC), and one was stamped onto kraft cardstock (overstamped with the Wood Background as well).  The panels were cut out with the Pierced Rectangles, matted with the Matting Rectangle and adhered to cards cut with the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies (all dies from Divinity Designs LLC.)

Hello, My Friend!

Hi, everyone!  Today's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to make a card for one of your crafty friends....this is for my friend, Sandy, who is very creative but does not do anything online.  I have used the 'Blossoms in Bloom' set from Stampin Up.  This set has intricate layering dies, but I tend to grab it for quick, CAS cards instead. I used the MISTI for the large flower stamp to make sure that they all stamped well.  The stamp was inked with a pad, then the centers sponged with a darker color.  Once the card was removed from the MISTI, the yellow centers and green leaves were stamped.  Gems were added for a finishing touch.
