Blessings Box Samples Part Two!

Hi, everyone! Hopefully you are subscribed to the quarterly Blessings Box release at Divinity Designs LLC!  I am still loving the fun papers and dies from the package!  Here are some new samples:

This shaker card was super fun to make, using the A2 Pierced Triple Windows Die with a sheet of acetate and foam tape. Other items used: Mushroom Medley Paper/Die Duos, Woodland Creatures Stamp/Die Duos, Treat Tags Dies, Matting Rectangle, and A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer.

Next up is a Mini Slimline card on which the Mushroom Medley Paper/Die Duos images were used, along with the Flourishes Embossing Folder and the following dies: Inspiration Words, Mini Slimline Rectangles, Mini Slimline Layering Rectangles, Mini Slimline Scalloped Rectangles, and Mini Slimline Card Base.
My next card features the adorable mouse and scripture verse from the Woodland Creatures Stamp/Die Duos, Mushroom Medley Paper/Die Duos, and the following dies: Z Fold Card with Layers and Hello.
Up next is a fun card featuring the Mushroom Medley Paper/Die Duos, the Slimline Palm Leaves Embossing Folder, and the following dies: Inspiration Words, Pierced Circles, Circles, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Portrait Card Base, and the small layering die from the Mini Slimline Shutter Card set (for the four rectangles).
Lastly, a fun card with a touch of autumn.  Copper is my fave of all of the metallics and gold layers were paired with it to lighten things up a bit. Items featured: Woodland Creatures Stamp/Die Duos (scripture verse), Mushroom Medley Paper/Die Duos, and the following dies: Perpetual Petals Background Die and Layer, Pierced Ovals, Ovals, Matting Rectangle, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer.

One In A Melon!

Hi, everyone! This week's Ways To Use It Challenge theme over at Splitcoast is 'Let's Eat Outside'. For my card, I chose the 'Thanks a Melon' set by Divinity Designs, along with the 'Flower Burst' Mixed Media Stencil, and the following dies: Bitty Borders, Pierced Circles, Circles, Scalloped Circles, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, Clouds and Raindrops, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer. Blending Brushes were used for the stenciling and for coloring the image panel (using masking and reverse masking) and hot pink sequins were added (in real life they do match the card!) :)

You're a Gem

Happy Monday, everyone! The Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast is all about 'Kindness'. For my card today, I used one of the Ephemera sets which I received as a free gift from Altenew. The only work I had to do for this card was sponge the oval and add splatters to the background......oh, and some tiny gemstones were added to the watering can.  I used thin foam tape behind the image and sentiment so it would still be easy to mail.

On Eagle's Wings

Happy Friday, everyone! This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to include clouds on your project. I love sponging clouds!! For my card today, I used a cloud die-cut as as stencil. The eagle and scripture from 'On Eagle's Wings' by Divinity Designs LLC were stamped on a white panel.  The eagle was sponged using reverse masking then highlighted with markers. The clouds were sponged over the 'stencil' made with the Clouds and Raindrops Dies set.  Other dies used: Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, and A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer.  No embellishments were added so that it would be flat for mailing.

Thanks for visiting with me today!

Stay Cool!

Happy Monday, everyone!  This week's Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast is to incorporate the color 'orange' in your card.  My nephew loves orange, so I created some sunglasses for his birthday card.  The dies and stencils are from My Favorite Things, purchased in a retirement sale.

Hope Anchors the Soul

Happy Friday, everyone!  This week's Mixability Challenge over at Splitcoast is 'Put a Bird On It'....my card has four sea gulls.  Though my card doesn't appear to be 'mixed media', I have used multiple mediums: Stazon permanent ink, Dye Ink, Distress Ink, Clear Glaze Pen, White Gel Pen, and markers.  Most of the items used are from Divinity Designs LLC: 'Anchor the Soul' stamp set, Blending Brushes, Foam Mounting Tape, and the following dies: A2 Pierced Multi Windows Die, Clouds and Raindrops (created a stencil), Cowboy and Cactus Silhouettes, Matting Rectangle, and A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer. The scene was stamped, sponged, partly colored with markers, highlighted with watercoloring, with glaze and gel pens adding the finishing touches.

Cocktails on the Beach

Happy Friday, everyone! This week's Friday Free4All Challenge theme over at Splitcoast is 'Let's Chill'. For my card today, I chose the 'Cocktail Mixer' set by Newton's Nook to create a birthday card for my niece. The cocktails were stamped onto a white card base, the clear glass portions were highlighted with a light blue marker; the colored sections were sponged using reverse masking; the tiny pieces were colored with markers.  A clear glaze pen was used to seal in the colors, then the background scene was sponged.
