Hi, everyone! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend! Here is a sneaky peek of one of the upcoming January stamp sets by Our Daily Bread designs, called "Princess". We have several new children sets coming out....can't wait to show them all to you!
Today's Feature Stamper over at Splitcoast is Sabrina aka Cook22.....yay, Sabrina!!! I chose this beautiful card to re-create....I am always drawn to clean layouts and this one was perfect to make a birthday card to a beautiful young lady I know (my BFF's Grand-daughter). The Inspiration Challenge yesterday at Splitcoast was to find an item from "Wedding Bells"....I chose this beautiful jeweled tiara as inspiration......the jewels in my tiara stamp were colored with a glitter pen...the hearts were colored red to match the designer paper.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Princess' (will be released January 1st);
Designer Paper: Basic Grey 'Sugar Rush';
Accessories: Glitter Pen, Spellbinders Labels One and Decorative Labels One, Basic Grey Button, May Arts Ribbon, Zva Creative Pearls, foam tape, sponge dauber, paper piercer and template;
Size: A2.
Thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned for another sneak peek on Monday, plus the January New Release Blog Hop will happen first thing on Tuesday morning!!

Snowflakes Are Kisses From Heaven
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is the mega-talented Sylvia Blum aka Fee! I was first introduced to Sylvia's amazing work when it was announced earlier this year that she would be on the Spellbinders' international team! It was tough to decide on a card to case from her amazing gallery, but I chose this beauty to re-create. My camera could not capture the sparkle from the "Hologram Highlights" embossing powder, but looks more gray instead, but it looks really pretty in person.
The card base and top full panel were stamped in Versamark with the "Snowflake Background" stamp by Our Daily Bread designs, then heat embossed with "Hologram Highlights" embossing powder, which has a rainbow of sparkly colors in it. The sentiment panel was stamped with "Snowflake Sentiments" on a Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities die, popped up over a Spellbinders Floral Ovals die.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Snowflake Background' and 'Snowflake Sentiments';
Cardstock: White:
Ink: Orchid Opulence and Versamark;
Accessories: Spellbinders 'Floral Ovals' and 'Oval Nestabilities', Zva Creative Pearls, May Arts Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Hologram Highlights Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Foam Tape, Sponge Dauber, Paper piercer and template;
Size: A2.
Thanks for visiting!

Anchor for the Soul!
Hi, everyone! This is a "thinking of you" card I made for a dear friend, who has just finished chemo therapy and is having some complications from it. I hope that God's word will encourage him and lift him up.
For the general design, I cased the layout from this beautiful card from Stephanie Severin aka SmilynStef, who was dubbed this week's Queen For The Day.....congrats, Stephanie!!
For masculine cards, I tend to go a little more simple, so I just used antique copper brads and knotted some twine across the front instead of using ribbon.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Anchor';
Cardstock: Kraft and Ivory;
Designer Paper: Authentique 'Glory';
Accessories: Spellbinders Labels 22, May Arts Twine, Antique Brass Brads, Paper Piercer and template, sponge dauber, foam tape;
Size: A2.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

"For The Love Of ODBD All Time Best Sellers" Blog Hop!
Hi, everyone! Welcome to the "For the Love of ODBD All-Time Best Sellers" Blog Hop, hosted by our illustrious Alumni Team, and joined by some Design Team and Challenge Team members as well!
If you have hopped here from Silke's fabulous blog, you are in the right place. If not, please head over to the ODBD Blog so that you may start at the beginning .....we don't want you to miss a thing! A complete link list is there, along with all of the deets you need for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the ODBD Store! You have until Wednesday, January 2nd (6 pm EST) to complete the hop. The winner will be announced at the beginning of our next hop.
I have chosen to use the "Little Things" set, from the Blessings Collection, to create two birthday cards, each showing a different style. I LOVE how ODBD stamps provide you with a wide-open door so that you can create any style or project you can imagine!!
My first sample is a little more elegant and rich, using Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio Three die set to frame the quote from "Little Things", along with some gorgeous designer paper and matching 3d butterfly which I picked up at a stamp show last year.
My second sample proves that you can get so many different looks from one stamp set. I chose the Honeycomb Background to accompany the "Little Things" set, along with the Prima 'Sunkiss' designer paper and gingham ribbon. The cut out and center popped up panel were cut out with the Spellbinders Blossom 3 die set.
Now, the moment you've been waiting for.....on with the hop!!! Your next stop will be with the amazingly talented Jan Keen! Enjoy the rest of the hop! See you next time!

Swirling Snowflakes!
Hi, everyone! Today's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Diana aka Mayodino......congrats, Diana!!! I fell in love with the cool design of this gorgeous card with the cut-out, so I just had to try it! I did go a bit overboard compared to her beautiful CAS design, so I will try this again later and see if I can get it right!
The card was cut at 4-1/4 x 8-1/2, then scored; the designer paper was cut at 4 x 4, edges sponged, then adhered to card. The top panel was cut at 3-3/4 x 3-3/4; cut-out was made with the largest die from the ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders "Snowflakes" Die Set; the swirly stamp from the "Snowflake Mini Set" was stamped in aqua and caramel (stamped off first so that the colors would be lighter). Sponged the edges, added paper piercing, ribbon, and pearls, then popped up this layer with foam tape for dimension. The snowflake in the center was stamped with "Sparkling Snowflakes", then cut out with the "Snowflakes" die, edges sponged, pearl added, then popped up in the center. I really love this design.....very quick and easy.....can't wait to try it again with other dies!
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Sparkling Snowflakes', 'Snowflake Mini Set;
Cardstock: White;
Designer Paper: Bo Bunny 'Snowfall';
Accessories: ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders 'Snowflakes' Die Set, Gingham Ribbon, Bow Easy, Zva Creative Pearls, Paper Piercer and template, sponge daubers, foam tape;

Your Unfailing Love
Hi, everyone! I am so happy to finally find the time to play along with the Mojo sketch!! Each week, the sketches are fabulous, but I was really thrilled to see a more simple layout....very easy for my busy brain to handle, plus it was perfect for my new snowflakes stamps and "Snowflakes" Die Set by Our Daily Bread designs! ;)
I still love my package of SEI "Winter Song" scrapbook paper which I bought last year (the little strip in the center)......I love the reds and blues for winter projects! First, I stamped the "Small Snowflake Background" with Stazon White onto light blue cardstock, inked the edges in white, added the designer paper strip, paper pierced the edges, then layered the sentiment panel and stamped/die cut snowflakes.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Small Snowflake Background', 'Snowflake Sentiments', 'Sparkling Snowflakes';
Designer Paper: SEI 'Winter Song';
Accessories: ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders "Snowflakes" Die Set, Spellbinders 'Floral Ovals' and 'Oval Nestabilities' dies, May Arts rick-rack, lace (brand unknown), Want2Scrap Clear Rhinestones, paper piercer and template, foam tape;
Size: A2.
Thanks so much for dropping by!

Fishers of Men - Less and More!
Hi, everyone!! This week's "Queen For The Day" over at Splitcoast is the uber-talented Pam MacKay.....congrats, Pam!! I chose this awesome card from Pam's wonderful gallery to re-create, even though I messed up the design of the bottom section (that's what I get for counting on my memory!!) I really loved the design of this card with the ticket-punched corners, so I made two different versions, the first for a co-worker (more of a simple version) and the second sample below is for a friend of the family (with a few added details).
The Inspiration Challenge today at Splitcoast is to choose an item or photo from the Restoration Hardware Baby and Child store to inspire your creation......I chose this cool boy's room......the colors were so fantastic together, so I dug out this designer paper and the "Fishers of Men" stamp set to go with it.
Below is version 2 of the same design, which I like more since I could add the scripture verse to it. (Unfortunately, for certain co-workers, I have to be a little more selective with sentiment choices, so the first card only has a Happy Birthday sentiment.)
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Fishers of Men' (Fishing Creel and Lure images, plus scripture verse on 2nd card) and 'Dad' (Happy Birthday sentiment);
Cardstock: Stampin Up 'Brocade Blue', 'Creamy Caramel' (retired), and 'Very Vanilla';
Designer paper: The Paper Loft;
Accessories: Ticket Corner Punch, Stampin Up Artichoke Denim Ribbon, Antique Brass Brads, paper piercer and template, sponge daubers, foam tape;
Size: A2.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a very blessed weekend!!!

ODBD "For the Love of Designer Favorites" Blog Hop!
Hi, everyone! Welcome to the "For the Love Of Designer's Favorites" Blog Hop, hosted by our fabulous Alumni Team! This time around the hop focus is on the favorite ODBD set(s) of each "Breadstick" (ODBD Designer)! In order to qualify to win a gift certificate for the ODBD Store, hop to the blogs of the participating designers, leave a comment, then head back to the ODBD Blog and let us know that you have completed the hop. The hop will run until Wednesday, December 19th at 6 pm EST. If you get lost along the way, a full list is on the ODBD Blog.
If you have hopped here from Lori's amazing blog, you are in the right place. If not, please head to the ODBD Blog and start from the beginning......I promise, you don't want to miss a thing. Plus, one of the designer's blogs is the HOT SPOT, from where the winner will be drawn!!
Since I own most of ODBD's stamps, it is difficult to choose just one favorite, so I have chosen two of my "go-to" sets.
My first sample features "Keep My Lamp Burning", which I normally use for masculine cards, but this time around I have a dear friend who loves lighthouses, so I put on some frilly touches. Her favorite lighthouses are red and white, so I sponged red ink, using post-its for masking. The background scene was colored with sponge daubers and ink pads. The compass, seagulls, and lighthouse were all cut out and popped up for extra dimension. If you would like a closer look, please click on the photo.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Keep My Lamp Burning';
Designer Paper: Basic Grey 'Curio';
Accessories: May Arts Crocheted Ribbon, Zva Creative Pearls, Paper piercer and template, sponge daubers, foam tape;
Size: A2.
My second sample features the gorgeous "Faith" set. I used the wonderful sketch from this week's Shining The Light Challenge for the layout of my card. The butterfly image from the "Faith" set also has a custom cutting die, "Butterfly Branch", which cuts it out perfectly, however, I decided to overstamp the scripture verse on the same panel instead.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Faith';
Designer Paper: Prima 'Alla Prima';
Accessories: Cheery Lynn Designs 'Nautical Wheeler' cutting die, Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities Die, Basic Grey Teal Pearls, May Arts Ribbon, Bow Easy, Paper Piercer and template, sponge daubers, foam tape;
Size: A2.
Since I am the last designer in the hop, head back to the ODBD Blog and leave a comment that you have finished. Hope you enjoyed everyone's beautiful creations!!
Thanks so much for hopping along with us today! God bless!

Shabby Poinsettias for a Queen!
Hi, everyone! This fun little 4 x 4 card was made for the Queen For The Day Challenge over at Splitcoast, plus for the Shabby Tea Room "Pretty Baubles" challenge to use the colors in the inspiration photo (to the left) , plus add a bird. The reigning Queen at SCS is Crafty Julia.....congrats, Julia!!! I chose this beautiful card to re-create, although I chose to make a shaped card instead of A2.

Designer Paper: Memory Box 'Gossamer';

Simple Things In Life
Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share with you a quick and easy birthday card I made for a dear friend. I love how using designer paper can take a whole lot of work (and layers) out of a card and still be just as pretty.
I'm a little late, but wanted to congratulate Sue aka Mrs Noofy for being Queen For The Day over at Splitcoast Stampers last week. I chose her very first card upload to re-create, although I used designer paper instead of dry-embossed cardstock.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Little Things' and 'Birthday Blessings';
Cardstock: Lovely Lilac and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: Memory Box 'Viola';
Accessories: Spellbinders Decorative Labels One and Labels One, Martha Stewart Doily Border Punch, May Arts Crocheted Lace and Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Paper Piercer and template, Zva Creative Pearls, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, sponge dauber, and foam tape;
Size: A2.

Birthday Dinosaurs for Featured Stamper!
Hi again!!! This is a card I made this morning for my nephew's birthday party. I used the Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoast today to help with the design of the card. This week's featured artist is the talented Sharri Seffens aka sseffens. What a joy it was to cruise through her gallery!!! I chose this fun card because I loved the layout, banner, and use of designer paper.
I knew that I wanted to use these cute dinosaurs for my nephew's card, so I stamped a bunch, then cut them out while watching movies with my hubby! This morning when I saw the Featured Stamper challenge, I found a design that would work with them. Since the scene panel needed to be small to fit the layout of Sharri's card, I sponged a hillside, using scratch paper, so that I could fit at least three of the images on there.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Stampin Up 'Dinoroar';
Cardstock: Stampin Up 'Cajun Craze', 'Crumb Cake', and 'Whisper White';
Designer Paper: Basic Grey 'Max & Whiskers';
Ink: Stampin up markers and ink pads, Stazon Jet Black;
Accessories: Spellbinders Ribbon Banners, Brass Brads, Paper piercer and template, foam tape, sponge daubers;
Size: A2.
Thanks so much for stopping by again! God bless!!!

Birthday Flags for Hubby!
If you are looking for the ODBD December New Release Blog Hop, please click HERE!
Hi there! Today I would like to share a fun card I made for my hubby for his birthday. He asked me not to make him a card since he worries about me working too much and wanted to give me a break, but how can I NOT make a card for my sweetie? So, I tried to figure out a clean and simple design that wouldn't take too long. This is what I came up with....somehow.....
I knew I had to use the "Be Joyful" set by Our Daily Bread designs, since the Mwaah stamp was included in this set because of my hubby. For years, whenever he would leave me a note, he would always end it with "Mwaah", so I got into the habit of using it as well when writing to Kelley and my design team sisters at Our Daily Bread designs. When this set was released, I told him it was "his stamp set"! :)
So....I knew I wanted to make some sort of banners since I wanted to incorporate several of the sentiments from the set. The sentiments were stamped onto some Bo Bunny 'Et Cetera' designer paper, cut into different size strips, edges sponged, then wrapped around a dowel rod and glued into place. A wooden bead was glued to the top to finish the flag-pole. Then, using foam tape behind the banners and liquid glue on the dowel rod, it was adhered to the background which was created with sponging.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Be Joyful':
Cardstock: Stampin Up Crumb Cake and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: Bo Bunny 'Et Cetera';
Accessories: Wooden Dowel Rod, Wooden Bead, Paper piercer and template, painted brads, foam tape, sponge daubers, scratch paper (for masking and sponging clouds);
Size: A2.
I also used the "Be Joyful" set for a Flower Soft "Scrap It Frame It" tutorial.....see the frame (and a photo of my honey and me) HERE!
Thanks so much for allowing me to share this card with you!
