My first card is for my Mom's birthday. I used silver metallic paper for the butterflies and hearts since it looked great with the pink/gray combination. These are the items used for this card:</span><div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Stamps: Beautiful Day</span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Paper: Rose A2 Card Fronts</span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Dies: Butterfly Layering Combo 3, Ornate Hearts, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer</span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Misc: Foam Mounting Tape and a Glitter Pen (for the sentiment's hearts).</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCvTF1k6Hf3ramifzh-exlI7niaux5vfxqrunvE5JTLxWfPp-UR_Fkovi2o_p7x6sOzi07zgk4u5oZtAJw8eqwQ9wBu7XTBvzAAVMfw-2r2F42skGoKcRZJM-FPhJVSFplC8bArI4teDXeBc6TqUjdG8j5hHCaz88Jl-1Pc1uN5xtcdmlEK83SbijZ2Xo/s1508/Mom%201b.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="1274" data-original-width="1508" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCvTF1k6Hf3ramifzh-exlI7niaux5vfxqrunvE5JTLxWfPp-UR_Fkovi2o_p7x6sOzi07zgk4u5oZtAJw8eqwQ9wBu7XTBvzAAVMfw-2r2F42skGoKcRZJM-FPhJVSFplC8bArI4teDXeBc6TqUjdG8j5hHCaz88Jl-1Pc1uN5xtcdmlEK83SbijZ2Xo/s600/Mom%201b.JPG" width="600" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;">
Next is a fun design for a friend who is a Leap Year Baby. She just turned "20" and is almost old enough to have a legal drink! :) Her favorite color is purple, so I used purple foil cardstock with some dark ivory shimmer cardstock. Here are the items used for this card:</span></div><div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Stamps: Beautiful Day</span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Paper: Watercolor Flowers A2 Card Fronts<br />

</span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Misc: Foam Mounting Tape, Blending Brushes, Glitter Pen, and sparkly gems.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJhQPrpXJ_odhnrI1tyPPW0LO4GY3al2ptM0ZXF4Q4yukTYTxoMudT3G08r0QUpNuw06yiDpAMvqoXxQybym3JhPgpf_YB9AU747kLn8zqZ1AkqUxbdWnt91UGk-C8AvoRvKkK0cUa0fAgjgvsVWAePAmI76JPM4tsg5_3kl-CVJbDpzwrXCgrUaLf7MA/s800/Margrit_1_by_angelladcrockett.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="760" height="600" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJhQPrpXJ_odhnrI1tyPPW0LO4GY3al2ptM0ZXF4Q4yukTYTxoMudT3G08r0QUpNuw06yiDpAMvqoXxQybym3JhPgpf_YB9AU747kLn8zqZ1AkqUxbdWnt91UGk-C8AvoRvKkK0cUa0fAgjgvsVWAePAmI76JPM4tsg5_3kl-CVJbDpzwrXCgrUaLf7MA/s600/Margrit_1_by_angelladcrockett.JPG" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;">
For my last sample for today, I used the same designer paper and silver metallic as on the first card. Here are the items used:</span></div><div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Stamps: Beautiful Day</span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Paper: Rose A2 Card Fronts</span></div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Dies:

This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Michelle aka <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=46176" target="_blank">mcstamperNE</a>....congrats, Michelle! I absolutely loved the triple window slimline design of <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/3021677?&cat=500&ppuser=46176&perpage=96&thumbsonly=0" target="_blank">this awesome card</a>....so fun! I stuck with green and purple but used different shades and flipped the slimline to landscape instead of portrait. My card is for one of my sisters, who loves horror movies. The images from 'Zombie Boy' by Whimsy Stamps were stamped onto watercolor paper with Stazon Jet Black, then water-colored with an aquabrush. A clear glaze pen was used on the jar, tongue, and eyeballs. The following dies from Divinity Designs LLC were used for the card base and framing: <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/slimline-rounded-window-die/" target="_blank">Slimline Rounded Window</a>, <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/sentiment-strips-2-dies/" target="_blank">Sentiment Strips 2</a>, and <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/slimline-card-base-die/" target="_blank">Slimline Card Base</a>.</span><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8XAi5UM8tpZo6EkDmTmEXi6Sxu92qhTRBPOtSSg3C14gutdohbfSdvzHjVwDGzmqBW39zojhnr4FA0V9S4YCuBlM551JD5qNEfuCsvJdqhsvLZWk-s8WJyDgndZAALpWEFKTwoGFHIprX478qId_0Wl0LyD2XdOLz94KcRMKgVUEonWXnXJ2PXWn8VSA/s1500/Rachel%202023.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="765" data-original-width="1500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8XAi5UM8tpZo6EkDmTmEXi6Sxu92qhTRBPOtSSg3C14gutdohbfSdvzHjVwDGzmqBW39zojhnr4FA0V9S4YCuBlM551JD5qNEfuCsvJdqhsvLZWk-s8WJyDgndZAALpWEFKTwoGFHIprX478qId_0Wl0LyD2XdOLz94KcRMKgVUEonWXnXJ2PXWn8VSA/s600/Rachel%202023.JPG" width="600" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;">

This week's <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/inspiration-88/ic953-inspired-room-march-9-2024-a-646444/" target="_blank">Inspiration Challenge</a> over at Splitcoast (and my MISTI) helped me to make a group of thank you cards very quickly. I chose <a href="https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/118430665250513032/" target="_blank">this beautiful navy blue floral bedspread</a> for my inspiration piece. I chose the Flowing Flowers set from Stampin Up and Stazon Navy Blue ink. I am hooked on permanent inks for designs like this since the ink dries instantly and doesn't smear. I absolutely hate ruining a card with ink blobs or smears, dont you?! :)

It's time to reveal this month's Birthday Flower of the Month, the Daffodil!! I am loving these mini stamp sets, especially since there are dies for each stamp, including the sentiments!! Find out how to get yours <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/birthday-flower-of-the-month-monthly-club/" target="_blank">HERE</a>!</span><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEm5YnFJCBgtCHdlnVMveRhDlqMrUncJ0mafnZNxMdP1KWNBrLEnuwhe6DqQ1Mdfuh0BcJJzxRhoRCjR6plNTRltVjxjthftngrAXG4ZcROBeq7pWe-EweUaga8XBUHEnkxQgXjH_L9JiEvvj0aSCcpUiNvuxCvJQTZJcxg8WuzdSSznczLzYpAiCyTyI/s1800/Birthday%20Fllower%20of%20the%20Month%20-March%20QCS119-836-01.jpg" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1800" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEm5YnFJCBgtCHdlnVMveRhDlqMrUncJ0mafnZNxMdP1KWNBrLEnuwhe6DqQ1Mdfuh0BcJJzxRhoRCjR6plNTRltVjxjthftngrAXG4ZcROBeq7pWe-EweUaga8XBUHEnkxQgXjH_L9JiEvvj0aSCcpUiNvuxCvJQTZJcxg8WuzdSSznczLzYpAiCyTyI/s600/Birthday%20Fllower%20of%20the%20Month%20-March%20QCS119-836-01.jpg" width="600" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;">For my first sample today, I paired the Birthday Flower of the Month - March Stamp/Die Duo with the fun Polka Dots & Gingham Slimline Paper Pad and the following dies: Ovals, Scalloped Ovals, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, and the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer. The Daffodil image was stamped onto white vellum, colored with Blending Brushes and markers on the underside, then adhered to white cardstock; this helped the white to appear brighter. It looks amazing in person! Some clear gems were added as a simple embellishment.</span><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBvAwKP6r3cZktA1LarGOW_nv7jrVmW3cZAI8suWMySJSGgD2cXABh6BBgTuSq3rY5PQHqdbWn2-A2MO3X7ATXgLxJ5uIYSgNbg4zPciWuLyIX7Onc620d2-W-a3f1-tKnhHfB55KPf2lVQYkZ4NN2bRqkvRUNzUFsE4HNgwJn7tPwPV5hK92OLzeSU0s/s1579/Lemon%20Daffodil%201.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="1579" data-original-width="1199" height="600" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBvAwKP6r3cZktA1LarGOW_nv7jrVmW3cZAI8suWMySJSGgD2cXABh6BBgTuSq3rY5PQHqdbWn2-A2MO3X7ATXgLxJ5uIYSgNbg4zPciWuLyIX7Onc620d2-W-a3f1-tKnhHfB55KPf2lVQYkZ4NN2bRqkvRUNzUFsE4HNgwJn7tPwPV5hK92OLzeSU0s/s600/Lemon%20Daffodil%201.JPG" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;">For my next card, I created two coloring stencils by stamping the image onto Yupo paper, then fussy cutting around the outside of the image, one for the whole flower and another for the center. The stamens were colored with a marker, coated with a clear glaze pen, then the color blending began. I love to color with blending brushes in order to get a smooth, blended look, since I don't have Copics. This week's <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/ways-use-46/wt990-leap-feb-29-2024-a-646288/" target="_blank">Ways To Use It Challenge</a> over at Splitcoast is focused on Leap Day....anything that leaps. I needed a couple of boy birthday cards, so I used this fun set, Darling Donkeys, from Stampin Up. The scene was sponged over scratch paper and the images were colored with markers. The clouds on one of the cards were sponged over a stencil made with the <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/clouds-raindrops-dies/" target="_blank">Clouds and Raindrops Dies</a> by Divinity Designs LLC; the other just has random sponging. The cards are mostly the same, other than the color of linen thread used at the top.

This week's <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/free-all-45/f4a731-die-cut-letters-2-23-24-a-646355/">Friday Free4All Challenge</a> over at Splitcoast is to use die-cut letters. This birthday card for my brother-in-law has plenty of them.....it would have been a fairly easy card to make, but gluing all of the letters in place took a while.....why do I keep forgetting to use adhesive sheets?! I used one sheet of designer paper from the <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/mushrrom-medley-paper-die-duo-slimline-sized-6x9/" target="_blank">Mushroom Medley Paper/Die Duos</a> pack to cut out the <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/a2-pierced-triple-window-die/" target="_blank">A2 Pierced Triple Window</a> frame, plus one mushroom image to add to the center. The cut-outs were inset and the frame was popped up with <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/supplies/scor-tape/" target="_blank">Foam Mounting Tape</a>. The small letters are from the <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/letter-board-dies/" target="_blank">Letter Board Dies</a> set and the large letters are from <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/alphabet-caps-dies/" target="_blank">Alphabet Caps</a>. Other dies used are: <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/matting-rectangle-die/" target="_blank">Matting Rectangle</a> and <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/a2-portrait-card-base-with-layer-die/" target="_blank">A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer</a>.</span></p>

Today we are sharing more beautiful samples featuring the <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/blessingsbox" target="_blank">January Blessings Box</a> from Divinity Designs LLC. You can see them all on Instagram <a href="https://www.instagram.com/DivinityDesignsLLC/" target="_blank">HERE</a>. </span><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgheNHbGbdetP7KABVGwAEueXaacrdcQohRaKeG-nVu1OrUb9zLrHBGDs3fLshBnwgBmG6FFWHHcWRqLVsYmyGGMvkRwbeG0qRk6Cnx-phBALzTo9bRLw1sEGuWctzW4xbnEbXLx_5775RfFEL0qkfK0sY0BjSijf5PUHOyf39wvBEiY35d8B7uAD4I2c/s500/Blessings_Box_January_2024__71107.jpg" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="500" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgheNHbGbdetP7KABVGwAEueXaacrdcQohRaKeG-nVu1OrUb9zLrHBGDs3fLshBnwgBmG6FFWHHcWRqLVsYmyGGMvkRwbeG0qRk6Cnx-phBALzTo9bRLw1sEGuWctzW4xbnEbXLx_5775RfFEL0qkfK0sY0BjSijf5PUHOyf39wvBEiY35d8B7uAD4I2c/w640-h640/Blessings_Box_January_2024__71107.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;">
My first sample features the Butterfly Layering Combo 2 Dies, a copper-embossed sentiment from the Beautiful Day set, the Watercolor Slimline Paper Pad, and the following dies: Leafy Edged Border, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, Scalloped Circles, Circles, and the A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer. The copper cut-outs from the Leafy Edged Border Die reminded me of angels, so I used two of them for corner embellishments. A Blending Brush was used on the embossed edges of the sentiment panel and Foam Mounting Tape was used to give the sentiment panel and butterfly extra dimension.</span><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSH6-phCqFEYFFiJrCVXXqMNsKVDf9Ki7CI_wfc5UeZwsSusD-APL3AQ2_ef-sWRqVh40u0sHXj-XVcECnunwsQ0lRjjoT6JaNU4M6v1Q6zeKpPmd0GqrUQwlPwQDGHVgg09zpktlltcm9UGUBigXiULBB7zggIMqW_SeaWR8Lrwt5UhwFw3Ay2D93OTo/s1444/Copper%20Butterfly%201.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="1225" data-original-width="1444" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSH6-phCqFEYFFiJrCVXXqMNsKVDf9Ki7CI_wfc5UeZwsSusD-APL3AQ2_ef-sWRqVh40u0sHXj-XVcECnunwsQ0lRjjoT6JaNU4M6v1Q6zeKpPmd0GqrUQwlPwQDGHVgg09zpktlltcm9UGUBigXiULBB7zggIMqW_SeaWR8Lrwt5UhwFw3Ay2D93OTo/s600/Copper%20Butterfly%201.JPG" width="600" /></a></div><div><span style="font-size: large;">My second sample features the Butterfly Layering Combo 3 Dies, a soft pattern from the Watercolor Wildflower A2 Card Fronts pack was chosen since it looked good with the Rose Gold foil cardstock. The sentiment from Beautiful Day was stamped with a dark plum ink directly onto the designer paper. Other dies used: Ornamental Squares, Ornate Hearts, Pierced Squares, Square Card Base with Layer. Foam Mounting Tape was used to pop up the butterfly and frame.</span></div>

This week's <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/inspiration-88/ic949-realfabric-com-feb-10th-2024-a-646269/" target="_blank">Inspiration Challenge</a> site over at Splitcoast is Real Fabric.....I chose <a href="https://realfabric.com/view.php?num=235&tb=&count=&category=2&pg=3" target="_blank">this swatch</a> as inspiration. I used the Stampin Up set, Nature's Prints, and Stazon Teal ink. I made two identical cards thanks to my beloved MISTI (it truly is the Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented!) Three gems were added as a finishing touch. Both of these cards will go into my birthday card stash.

This week's <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/ways-use-46/wt986-love-february-1-2024-a-646167/" target="_blank">Ways To Use It Challenge</a> over at Splitcoast is to incorporate elements using the letters L-O-V-E. For my card, L is for lavender sky, O is for ocean, V is vacation, and E is for evening. Time has been very limited for me due to daily overtime at work, so I have been creating a lot of cards from my recycled wall calendars. This card, from start to finish, only took 15 minutes. The sentiment is from Altenew and the following dies from <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/" target="_blank">Divinity Designs LLC</a> were used: Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer. Some gems were added as a finishing touch.</span><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOVQocfk0LRCgohs2sy2gmJohuXQBXC62RDXkjUAsoTKwv25j1WJE4MWeFkuZXkTIju8oRvvRybH2oPi-v-ZIB_po5JpmfdmKE3LZHjqQKe5bz5Ii-bXzBxyu_XjMLFGhgNzH5Ro6u2vofSHOCPMS2XBzdBc2JR5ekKw5XSkFcIoyw52U0gnUW3MenRes/s760/Sandy.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="635" data-original-width="760" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOVQocfk0LRCgohs2sy2gmJohuXQBXC62RDXkjUAsoTKwv25j1WJE4MWeFkuZXkTIju8oRvvRybH2oPi-v-ZIB_po5JpmfdmKE3LZHjqQKe5bz5Ii-bXzBxyu_XjMLFGhgNzH5Ro6u2vofSHOCPMS2XBzdBc2JR5ekKw5XSkFcIoyw52U0gnUW3MenRes/s600/Sandy.JPG" width="600" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;">

This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Giovana aka <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=127886" target="_blank">giogio</a>....congrats, Giovana!! I chose <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2206645?&cat=500&ppuser=127886" target="_blank">this beautiful card</a> to case today for my neice's birthday. The designer paper I chose is from Stampin Up and the stamps are from Altenew. The flowers were stamped with Stazon Jet Black onto watercolor paper, water-colored with an aquabrush, fussy cut, then popped up with foam tape. I also used the following dies from Divinity Designs LLC: <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/pierced-rectangles-dies/" target="_blank">Pierced Rectangles</a>, <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/matting-rectangle-die/" target="_blank">Matting Rectangle</a>, <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/a2-portrait-card-base-with-layer-die/" target="_blank">A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer</a>. My card today is one of a group of thank you cards created for those who came to support me during my Dad's funeral visitation earlier this week. I have combined this week's Splitcoast <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/color-combinations-43/cc984-melons-vanilla-pecans-1-23-24-a-646172/" target="_blank">Color Challenge</a> of Vanilla, Melon Mambo, and Pecan Pie, along with the <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/free-all-45/f4a727-all-about-b-1-26-24-a-646183/" target="_blank">Friday Free4All Challenge</a>, which was to incorporate anything beginning with a 'B'.....brown is my 'B' word. I have used the 'Nature's Harvest' stamp set by Stampin Up; the image was stamped with Stazon Timber Brown onto ivory cardstock; the petals were water-colored and the leaves were colored with markers. I used an air-art tool for adding the 'splatters' once the coloring was finished.</span></p>

This week's <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/ways-use-46/wt978-lights-december-7-2023-a-645777/" target="_blank">Ways To Use It Challenge</a> theme over at Splitcoast is 'Lights'. I needed a couple of masculine birthday cards, so I made them the same but with different colors. The lanterns were cut out first, then placed in my MISTI over the white panel to find the correct placement for the scripture verse. Once the panels were stamped, they were put back into the Pierced Rectangles Die and colored with Blending Brushes. The flames were sponged using stencils created with the lantern die set. Here are the items from Divinity Designs LLC used for these cards: <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/my-light/" target="_blank">'My Light'</a> stamp set, <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/supplies/blendingbrushes/" target="_blank">Blending Brushes</a>, <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/pierced-rectangles-dies/" target="_blank">Pierced Rectangles Dies</a>, <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/matting-rectangle-die/" target="_blank">Matting Rectangle Die</a>, <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/a2-portrait-card-base-with-layer-die/" target="_blank">A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Die</a>, and the <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/shining-light-lantern-die/" target="_blank">Shining Light Lantern Die Set</a>.</span><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibiLBhYtovUbIRg5FEkblLVFupAntNqkmMQMB23XwZtA5_RULp034RVgATW66FZdlxiTZk7dRWjvZUoo3WsSN6_YkyRikRWuwhYGnaH6QC3E43_lHpCqvFVsJlKexPgq6Qw1tJK3JMj6pQYURycesJ4IobO9wunlI8LXMnFv7X-s6AB7pPk2cxjov1Msw/s1500/Dick%201.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="1500" data-original-width="1158" height="600" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibiLBhYtovUbIRg5FEkblLVFupAntNqkmMQMB23XwZtA5_RULp034RVgATW66FZdlxiTZk7dRWjvZUoo3WsSN6_YkyRikRWuwhYGnaH6QC3E43_lHpCqvFVsJlKexPgq6Qw1tJK3JMj6pQYURycesJ4IobO9wunlI8LXMnFv7X-s6AB7pPk2cxjov1Msw/s600/Dick%201.JPG" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXhHwc7TSQb8uodeD_41tzLQfQUaYKIPXj6tBtV7P5KM14E9hRXqJlTcdSyKisbolU3ntGlqk52G3pU3aVvUcESp05wJK7DK4NVCv5O9gCZrxpYEyxOkFQcSBL-erVegy12Wx9gPHabR_PdEsFmCokX9T_aNkowkaLSkbc-uhpTK2NBTNHEHd-ClL935g/s1500/Phil%201.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="1500" data-original-width="1151" height="600" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXhHwc7TSQb8uodeD_41tzLQfQUaYKIPXj6tBtV7P5KM14E9hRXqJlTcdSyKisbolU3ntGlqk52G3pU3aVvUcESp05wJK7DK4NVCv5O9gCZrxpYEyxOkFQcSBL-erVegy12Wx9gPHabR_PdEsFmCokX9T_aNkowkaLSkbc-uhpTK2NBTNHEHd-ClL935g/s600/Phil%201.JPG" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;">

Today I'm feeling a little 'beachy' so how about some tropical birthday wishes? This week's <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/ways-use-46/wt975-fall-leaves-november-16-2023-a-645649/" target="_blank">Ways To Use It Challenge</a> theme over at Splitcoast is 'Fall Leaves'. My Mother-In-Law requested that her birthday card had fall colors and falling leaves, so I used another pattern from the <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/stained-glass-pumpkins-square-card-fronts/" target="_blank">Stained Glass Pumpkins Square Card Fronts</a> paper pack from Divinity Designs LLC. I used Rose Gold and Light Blue Foil Cardstock to soften up the dark colors in the image panel. This was a very simple design....a few die cuts, some <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/supplies/scor-tape/" target="_blank">Foam Mounting Tape</a>, and it was finished! This week's <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/ways-use-46/wt974-book-club-nov-9-2023-a-645518/" target="_blank">Ways To Use It Challenge</a> theme over at Splitcoast is 'Book Club'....anything book related. When I create cards for my family, I always ask if they have a request for theme, colors, etc. My brother-in-law is a pastor; he immediately asked for a 'King James Bible' card. I dug through some old tax boxes to find a yearly planner book and tore off the cover since it had the perfect texture to look like a Bible cover! The rectangles and cross dies are from Divinity Designs LLC and the letter dies are from Top Dog Dies. The tassel was made from gold cording....it matches the gold foil cardstock in the real, but not in the photo, unfortunately. On the inside a scripture verse stamp and birthday greeting were used. </span><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnPu1SYZCx_MRau4RE_8AO2Uc_tSTBCy0-xZOTzXB_6F3Y9ipSo_hLbS3FaiFvzP6OwAVaLyc3jxUp-EFT40IzfICq3vJMpM6pp_Z4Uoqn16-MdmmQZDavZjBxqNppPp4LrYQJJ8RY9sLZCjUzUUIZMj526dA9ynjd8TfD2bkvHzqAECZib3XqnAi5hg4/s1500/Mike.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="1500" data-original-width="1203" height="600" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnPu1SYZCx_MRau4RE_8AO2Uc_tSTBCy0-xZOTzXB_6F3Y9ipSo_hLbS3FaiFvzP6OwAVaLyc3jxUp-EFT40IzfICq3vJMpM6pp_Z4Uoqn16-MdmmQZDavZjBxqNppPp4LrYQJJ8RY9sLZCjUzUUIZMj526dA9ynjd8TfD2bkvHzqAECZib3XqnAi5hg4/s600/Mike.JPG" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;">

This week's <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/color-combinations-43/cc973-my-granny-loves-pink-sunsets-balmy-breezes-11-7-23-a-645651/" target="_blank">Color Challenge</a> over at Splitcoast was perfect for creating a birthday card for my niece. The stamps and dies are from My Favorite Things. The image was colored with markers and then highlighted with a glitter pen, though the glitter did not show up in the photos. I used thin foam tape and sequin stickers so that it wouldn't cost more to mail.

This week's <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/inspiration-88/ic934-%7B10-28-23%7D-home-645545/" target="_blank">Inspiration Challenge</a> over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the At Home online store......I am always drawn to ocean scenes and loved <a href="https://www.athome.com/ocean-sunset-canvas-wall-art-16x20/124326709.html?nav=search" target="_blank">this canvas wall art</a>! I love how this one image from the Stampin Up 'Waves of Inspiration' stamp set has so many different layers within one piece of rubber! The wave was placed in my MISTI; a Pool Party ink pad inked the entire image for the first stamping, then different markers were used to highlight different sections of the stamp. A <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/double-stitched-rectangles-dies/" target="_blank">Double Stitched Rectangles Die</a> (from Divinity Designs LLC) cut out the panel; while the die was still in place, <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/supplies/blendingbrushes/" target="_blank">Blending Brushes</a> colored the background sunset. The panel was put back into the MISTI in order to stamp the sentiment. Coordinating dies were used to cut the seagulls from the blue foil cardstock which came in the bundle. I did not use any other embellishments so that it would be flat for mailing.</span><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpX05_5dSKkPvagCIhs77zrYjGiCjsaZqOfkCGduaKy6XMqcsw2-m-XEBL5gpwT6W6-IG3CvHgx8FazmyYa7hip5x2NYqGMGn51-JpP-Clcyqrai80Ea_wn7-I6G4zXe7gYmnzfIhFDP0btimwR2YMOwT0UvfZSLWWHsivR_0kb6xBrNJK4tbVaGykkvs/s1500/Elyas.JPG" style="display: block; padding: 1em 0px; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" data-original-height="1239" data-original-width="1500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpX05_5dSKkPvagCIhs77zrYjGiCjsaZqOfkCGduaKy6XMqcsw2-m-XEBL5gpwT6W6-IG3CvHgx8FazmyYa7hip5x2NYqGMGn51-JpP-Clcyqrai80Ea_wn7-I6G4zXe7gYmnzfIhFDP0btimwR2YMOwT0UvfZSLWWHsivR_0kb6xBrNJK4tbVaGykkvs/s600/Elyas.JPG" width="600" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;">

I only had time for a quick CAS card, so I used the image from the <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/howdy/" target="_blank">'Howdy'</a> stamp set and the sentiment from the <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/happy-trails-clear-stamps/" target="_blank">'Happy Trails'</a> set. The stamping was done in Stazon Jet Black, then <a href="https://divinitydesignsllc.com/supplies/blendingbrushes/" target="_blank">Blending Brushes</a> were used for the background.
