Travel Themed Wedding

Hi, everyone! This week's Ways to Use It Challenge theme over at Splitcoast is 'Paris in the Spring'. I am cheating a bit since this card was previously created for my niece's travel themed wedding. Other than the gold pearl, gold foil cardstock, and Blackberry Bliss cardstock, all other product used was from Divinity Designs LLC. Designer Paper: Romantic Roses 6x6 Paper Pad; Stamps: Wedding Blessings (embossed in gold); Dies: Lavish Layers, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer, Bitty Blossoms, Gift Card Pockets and Layers (inside view); and Foam Mounting Tape.

Pretty Floral Birthday Card

Hi, everyone!  Today's card combines two Splitcoast challenges: Friday Free4All 'Spring Garden' challenge and today's Inspiration Challenge which is to choose an inspiration piece from Meadow Blu...I chose the photo below because of the beautiful colors in the flowers.  Instead of gold, I chose light yellow since my mom's fave color is yellow....this is her birthday card.  The 'Nostalgic Florals' stamps and 'XOXO and More' word dies are from Altenew and the following items are from Divinity Designs LLC: Scalloped Rectangles Dies, Pierced Rectangles Dies, Foam Mounting Tape, Blending Brushes, and Rhinestones.  The flowers were stamped; the centers and stamens were colored with a yellow marker then sealed with a clear glaze pen before sponging the colors over coordinating stencils.

Sunset Sailing

Hi, everyone!  This week's Ways To Use It Challenge theme over at Splitcoast is 'Stay Afloat'.  My card today features another awesome scene from last year's wall calendar.  The sentiment is from 'Happy Trails' from Divinity Designs LLC; the scene was cut with a Pierced Rectangle Die, layered with the Matting Rectangle Die and A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies.  Brass brads were added in the corners to coordinate with the sunset colors. This card took about fifteen minutes from start to finish....yay!!!

Warm and Beachy

Hi, everyone!  This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Erin aka erinbh....congrats, Erin!  I chose this awesome palm tree card to case today.  I had a scrap piece of SU designer paper just large enough to use a rectangle die to cut the edges.  I used the MISTI to line up the stamps from 'Paradise Palms' so that I could stamp onto the card base multiple times and onto the designer paper multiple times in order to get full coverage.  The palm tree stamps were inked with markers so it took a couple of rounds to get the colors I wanted.  I didn't pop up the layer so that it would be flat for mailing.

Here are the new Anniversary Release items featured in my samples for today:

My first card features the new awesome Faith Cross Layering Combo Dies set, a swirly pattern from the new Peaceful Petals Paper Pad and the following dies: Lavish Layers, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer.  Foam Mounting Tape was used to pop up the layers and tiny Crystal Pixie Gems were added as a finishing touch.

My second card features a gorgeous pink rose pattern from the Peaceful Petals Paper Pad, a wonderful stamp message stamp from 'God Quotes 3', and the following dies: Scalloped Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, Pierced Rectangles, Mini Slimline Scalloped Rectangles, Mini Slimline Rectangles, Rolled Rose Flower, Rose Leaves, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer.  For the rose die cut, the matting layer was cut from the designer paper; the top layer was cut from white cardstock and colored with a Blending Brush with the same ink used on the edges of the designer paper panels.  The flower and quote panel was popped up with Foam Mounting Tape and some scalloped ribbon and a bow tied with a Bow Easy were added as a finishing touch.

Good Luck Golf Outing

Happy Friday, everyone!  This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to have a good luck message along with a splash of green.  My co-worker LOVES to play golf so I created this for his birthday.  The scene was stamped with 'Silhouette Forest' by Blue Knight Stamps; the golf flag was hand drawn (definitely shows why I am not a sketch artist!), and the scripture verse is from the 'Golf' Stamp/Die Duos set by Divinity Designs LLC. The scene was cut out with a Rectangle Die and the frame was cut with the A2 Thin Pierced Frame Die.

Captain Marvel Birthday

Hi, everyone!  This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to use stars on your project.  One of my co-workers is a HUGE Marvel movie fan, so I created a Captain Marvel card for her birthday.  I sketched out the pieces with a pencil on the back of some foil cardstock (from Michael's) before cutting out and adhering to the card.  For the center star, the lines were scored onto the back of the star to create the dimension of the sections.  Two die sets from Divinity Designs LLC were used: Happy Birthday and Layers and Sparkling Stars.

Blossoms In Bloom

Hi, everyone!  This week's Color Challenge over at Splitcoast is Flamingo, Curry, and Pear.  My go-to stamp set for 'quick cards' is Blossom in Bloom by Stampin Up.  Using the MISTI makes a card like this super easy since you can add more ink and stamp multiple times.  Some clear gems were added as a finishing touch.  I made two identical cards to mail out to two of my friends who do not know each other! :)

Birthday Bouquet

Hi, everyone!  This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Dina Kowal aka dini....congrats, Dina!!  I chose this beautiful card to case today.  I used the same soft colors but different stamps, plus my card is a one layer card.  The stamps are from the 'Blessings of Home' set by Stampin Up. Sponges and markers were used for the coloring and shading.

Floral Birthday x 3

Hi, everyone!  This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is 'Overstamping'....one of my FAVE techniques!!  I created three similar cards very quickly (thanks to my MISTI!) using the same stamps and papers.  The stamp set is one of my favorite older sets from Divinity Designs LLC, called 'Fragrance'.  The flower image was lightly inked with lavender and stamped onto white.  The sentiment was then 'over-stamped' in black. While the image panels were still in the die, light sponging was added around the edges.  The gorgeous designer paper is 'Floral Favorites' Slimline Paper Pad and here are the dies used: Pierced Squares, Squares, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, and A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer.

Hi, everyone!  Wow, February flew by!  It's time again for another awesome release from Divinity Designs LLC!!  Check out all of the new products plus amazing designer samples HERE or on Instagram HERE!

Here are the new products featured in my samples for today:

My first sample is a diorama scene which features the super cute Holy Cow Stamp/Die Duos set and the Barn Builder Dies. Other items used are as follows: Weathered Wood Paper Pad, Diorama with Layers Dies, Grass Lawn Die, Pierced Ovals Dies, Ovals Dies.

My second card is a Mini Slimline design featuring the adorable sheep from the adorable Barn Babies Stamp/Die Duos set, along with the Mini Slimline Pierced Windows Die, Gingham Background Stamp, and a scripture verse from the new Follow Me stamp set. The card base was cut with the Mini Slimline Card Base. Also added was the fence from the Barn Builders Dies set and grass cut with the Grass Lawn Die.
