Hi, everyone!
This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is 'Overstamping'....one of my FAVE techniques!! I created three similar cards very quickly (thanks to my MISTI!) using the same stamps and papers. The stamp set is one of my favorite older sets from Divinity Designs LLC, called 'Fragrance'. The flower image was lightly inked with lavender and stamped onto white. The sentiment was then 'over-stamped' in black. While the image panels were still in the die, light sponging was added around the edges. The gorgeous designer paper is 'Floral Favorites' Slimline Paper Pad and here are the dies used: Pierced Squares, Squares, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, and A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer.

Happy New Year Cards
Hi, everyone!
This week's Ways To Use It Challenge theme is 'Warm and Cozy'....I didn't get a chance in December to post photos of all of the Happy New Year cards mailed out, so now is a good time. I borrowed this fun idea from Lori Helling's blog post here. My cards are not all the same since I goofed when cutting my cardstock....I had the templates backwards on some! :p The sentiment from 'Snowy Blessings' is the same on each card (thanks to my MISTI, twenty cards were stamped in no time!!), the designer papers are all from Divinity Designs LLC: Rustic Christmas and Christmas Collection 2018. Though not very visible, the ends of the scarfs were fringed with scissors. Instead of bling, the 'buttons' were made with a small circle punch so that the cards were completely flat for mailing.

Happy New Year!
Hi, everyone!
This week's Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast is 'New Year, New Stuff'.....today I would like to share one of 16 Happy New Year cards I mailed out last week. I finally invested in a Misti (stamp positioning tool) and it is definitely a life changer!! I was able to stamp all 16 cards in an hour...would have been quicker but I used the same snowflake so each card had to be stamped three times. Gemstones were added to the centers. The snowflake stamps are retired from Divinity Designs LLC (Snowflake Mini Set) and the sentiment is from the White As Snow Stamp/Die Duos set.

Assembly Line Snowflake Cards
Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a group of Happy New Year cards stamped with various sizes and colors of snowflakes (from the 'Sparkling Snowflakes' retired set), plus a card featuring a panel created by 'stamping off' the snowflakes and then used for this week's Sketch Challenge over at Splitcoast. When I began stamping the stack of cards, my scratch paper underneath began transforming into a gorgeous collage, so I grabbed a piece of white cardstock to use for stamping off instead. I used the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Squares Dies to cut out the snowflake collage panel, plus two square frames for the sketch. The sentiment from 'Snowflake Sentiments' was stamped then cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, using the Die Resizing Technique so that the panel would fit the sentiment perfectly. (See the Die Resizing Tutorial in this post.) Clear gemstones were added to the snowflake centers. Stickles were added to the snowflake centers on the 'assembly line' cards. The sentiment on the group of cards is from 'Snowy Blessings'.
