It's Raining Daisies!

Hi, everyone!  This week's Ways To Use It theme over at Splitcoast is "Don't Fence Me In"......my card features one of my all-time favorite dies from Divinity Designs LLC, the Fence Die. This was a pretty simple and quick card to make.....no stamping, just a few die cuts and designer paper.  Here are the items used:  Gardening Gnomes Paper/Die Duos and the following dies: Fence, Clouds and Raindrops, Grass Lawn, Inspiration Words, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, and A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer. Yellow baker's twine was used to coordinate with the daisies.

New Inspiration for Blessings Box Subscription

Hi, everyone!  Today I am sharing two more samples which feature items from the April Blessings Box from Divinity Designs LLC.  Check out the details of this quarterly subscription HERE.

My first sample began by coloring two white panels with blending brushes.  One was die cut with the Raindrops Background then popped up with Foam Mounting Tape over the 2nd colored panel.  The image from Rain or Shine was stamped on white; the flowers were colores with markers and the boots were colored with a blending brush using a reverse mask cut from scratch paper. White gel pen was added to the boots.

My second sample features one of the sentiments from Rain or Shine and the following dies: Park Silhouettes, Grass Lawn, Cloud Borders, Cowboy & Cactus Silhouettes (sun).  The background panel was colored the same way as my first card, with Blending Brushes.  Before die-cutting the bench, the black cardstock was layered with an adhesive sheet since this is a tough one to glue.

Divinity Designs LLC June New Release!

Hi, everyone! It's time for another new release from Divinity Designs LLC! To see the entire new release plus more amazing samples, visit the website HERE or Instagram HERE.
My first sample features the Mini Slimline Double Display Die set; I have to be honest....I was not looking forward to using this die set since it looked complicated, however, it was super easy!  The card base was cut from white cardstock and the layers were cut from a pattern from the Floral Favorites Slimline Paper Pad.  I didn't take a "closed" photo, but the Mr. and Mrs. with Layers Dies covers the front of the card when it's closed.  Inside is a pocket cut from Rose Gold Foil cardstock with the Gift Card Pockets and Layers Dies; the layer was cut from white, shaded with pink ink and a Blending Brush, then stamped with the stamp set.  The tiny hearts are from the Clouds and Raindrops Dies set. A matching envelope was also created, using the Mini Slimline Envelope Die.  The same papers and dies were used to decorate the envelope, inside and out.
My next sample features a gorgeous pattern from the Majestic Mountains Slimline Card Fronts, the Floral Corners Background Die, plus a sentiment from the Sending Sunshine Stamp/Duo set. Since the background die is so intricate, I knew that adding it with glue would be a challenge, so an Adhesive Sheet was placed onto the eggplant cardstock before die-cutting. A Blending Brush was used to add yellow ink to the sentiment panel while it was still inside the die so that the white border would remain.  Sparkly purple gems were added for a finishing touch. Other dies used: Matting Rectangle and A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer.
I saved my fave for last. This is a card I created for my hubby for our Anniversary! The Majestic Mountains paper pad was absolutely perfect for the Eclipse Technique!  I used the Long and Lean Letters Dies to cut the letters from the scene, then cut three more layers each from the green cardstock in order to give the dimension.  The sentiment is from the Koala Bears Stamp/Die Duos set.  Other dies used: Sentiment Strips 2, Slimline Thin Pierced Frame, and Slimline Card Base.

The frame and parts of the scene were popped up with Foam Mounting Tape.
