Quilted Leaf

Hi, everyone!  This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to create a winter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas card.  For my card today, I have used the following items from Divinity Designs LLC: 'A-maize-ing' Stamp/Die Duos set, Festive Fall Slimline Paper Collection, and the following dies: Quilted Leaf, Double Stitched Squares, Double Stitched Circles, and Circles.  This was super quick and easy.....I love when the designer paper does most of the work!  Happy Friday, everyone!! :)

Life Is Better With You

Hi, everyone!  This week's Sketch Challenge over at Splitcoast is a slimline design.  I had my heart set on the Floral Background Die from Divinity Designs LLC, but it didn't quite fit on their slimline dies, so I cut my own white card base and added pieces and parts to make it work.  The designer paper is from the 'Watercolor' Paper Pad; the sentiment is from 'Fur-ever Friends' Stamp/Die Duos set, and I used the Pierced Rectangles Dies to cut a black panel, cut it in half and added scraps of the paper to each end.  For the circle element, I chose a black sheer bow, tied with a Bow Easy.  I may go back and add some pearls later.....I'm undecided at the moment.

Dinoroar Birthday

Hi, everyone!  For my card today, I combined the Sketch Challenge with the Color Challenge over at Splitcoast.  I do not have any of the new Stampin Up colors yet, but the closest I could find are So Saffron, Glorious Green, and Island Indigo, with the dessert option of punches or dies...I used a ticket corner punch.  The stamp set I used is one of my fave kid sets, 'Dinoroar' from Stampin Up.  This is a birthday card for one of my nephews who loves dinosaurs.  The dino's were stamped with Stazon Jet Black, fussy cut, popped with foam tape, and water-colored with the challenge colors.  The background scene was sponged over scratch paper and the banners were cut with a paper trimmer and by hand.  Wow, no dies on this one! :)

Butterfly Accordion Fold

Hi, everyone!  This week's Ways To Use It Challenge theme over at Splitcoast is 'Embellish'!  For my butterfly accordion card, I have used both butterfly die cuts and irridescent sequins for embellishments, plus a additional belly band too!  I was intimidated to try one of these accordion folds, but the die set cut out the card base and all of the layers, so the hard part was picking out the designer paper!!

This is the front/closed view, with the belly band holding it shut.

This is the open view which shows all of the panels.

Here is a list of all of the products from Divinity Designs LLC used in the making of this card:

Stamps: A Happy Hello
Paper: Plum Pizzazz and Whimsical Wildflowers
Dies: Accordion Fold with Layers, Butterfly Layering Combo, Butterfly Trio, Belly Band, Oval Stitched Rows

Blessings Come Down

Hi, everyone!  This week's Sketch Challenge over at SplitcoastStampers is super fun and creative!!  Sonja has provided the instructions within the challenge post for creating an 'Arrow Fold'....super easy!!  I decided to create my card with the arrow pointing downward instead of to the side. The papers I used are from the Vagabond Treasures Paper Collection by Artistic Outpost and the sentiment is from the 'Blessings' set from Divinity Designs LLC.  I modified the original size down to 4-1/4 square for the ivory cardstock base. All of the layers were measured and cut with a paper trimmer, no die cuts.  Linen thread and a button were added for finishing touches.  I will add a small sentiment panel below the arrow flap once I decide who will be receiving this later.

Sparkle!

Hi, everyone! For this week's Sketch Challenge over at SplitcoastStampers, I used the new Sparkling Snowflakes Stamp/Die Duos from Divinity Designs LLC.  This card is for my niece's birthday....she is a Christmas baby, so snowflakes and hot pink are perfect!!  The snowflakes were white embossed on white, then sponged in shades of pink which match the designer paper from the Christmas Collection 2020.  The sentiment was die cut from the Letter Board Dies set.  Three strands of white satin ribbon were added, along with white Stickles on the letters, snowflakes, and all of the sparkle images on the background. Additional dies used were the Pierced Rectangles Dies, Matting Rectangle Die, and A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies.

Divinity Designs LLC October New Release!

Hi, everyone! Welcome to the October New Release party for Divinity Designs LLC! To see the entire new release plus some amazing team samples, please click HERE.

Here are the new items featured in my projects for today:

For my first card, I chose two beautiful patterns from the Shine Bright Paper Pad.  I fussy cut the bow from one of the sheets to place across the opening of the aperature.  The Floating Frame Front Dies set was used to cut the layers and cut out the 'window' from the card base and designer paper.  (The Floating Frame was used upside down for a different look, cutting the window from the bottom section instead of the top.)  The word sentiment was cut with the Holiday Word Dies for the front of the card.  Peeking from the inside panel is the beautiful deer from the 'All is Calm' Stamp/Die Duos set.

On the inside is the image and sentiment from the 'All is Calm' Stamp/Die Duos set. The image wsa stamped with Stazon Jet Black, mostly water-colored, then finished with markers and a clear glaze pen. The sentiment was cut with an Ovals Die, matted with a Double Stitched Ovals Die, and the 'flags' were cut with the Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies. The inside panel was cut with the Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, matted with the Matting Rectangle, and the card was cut out with the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies.
My second card is a slimline design which features the 'Sparkling Snowflakes' Stamp/Die Duos set, and designer papers from the Serenity Snowflakes Paper Collection.  The snowflakes were white embossed on white cardstock, then colored with sponges and ink to match the plum, blue, and mauve tones in the paper.  The Happy New Year sentiment was cut with the Holiday Word Dies.  Additionally, the Slimline Card Base Die, Slimline Scalloped Rectangles Dies, Slimline Rectangles Dies, and the Slimline Layering Rectangles Dies were used.  Matching ribbon was tied with a Bow Easy and some irridescent sequins were used for finishing touches.

Thanks for hanging out with us today!
