Divinity Designs LLC August New Release!

Hi, everyone!  The summer is flying by....it's already August!!  It's time for another fun release from Divinity Designs LLC!  Check out the entire release along with awesome designer samples HERE on the website or HERE on Instagram.  Enjoy!!

My first sample features the following products:

Stamp/Die Duo: Bird of the Month - November
Paper: Forest Friends 1, Distressed Dandelions Paper Pad
Dies: Triple/Quad Z Fold Cards with Layers, Pierced Ovals, Ovals
Misc: Blending Brush, Foam Mounting Tape

This die set is super versatile....there are many extra dies so that countless combinations are possible for whatever design you choose! Compare all of the designer samples HERE  and you'll see what I mean!

Next up is a card which I really enjoyed creating.  The sentiment was stamped directly onto the designer paper; the puzzle die was used to cut out the panel, then the pieces were adhered to the lavender foil cardstock mat.  A very simple design, letting the designer paper do most of the work!  Here are the products used for this card:

Stamps: Puzzle Pieces
Paper: Garden Ephemera A2 Card Fronts
Dies: Puzzle, Matting Rectangle, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer, Scalloped Rectangles

This card was quick and easy and fun!  The background designer paper and frame were cut first so that I could line up the sentiment stamp. Foam tape was added to the Gnomies and frame. One of the little limes was cut with scissors so that it would fit over the edge of the mini cup.  Here are the products used for this card:

Stamps: Berry Best
Paper: Pretty Patterns 3 Slimline
Paper/Die Duo: Summertime Gnomes
Dies: A2 Pierced Multi Windows, Mini Cups & Mugs
Misc: Foam Mounting Tape

Next is a gift set featuring the Stained Glass Butterflies Mini Bag & A2 Card Fronts paper pack. Here are the products used to create this set:

Stamps: Puzzle Pieces
Paper: Stained Glass Butterflies Mini Bag & A2 Card Fronts
Dies: Heart Puzzle, Matting Rectangle, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer, Stitched Tag Set, Mini Bag & Gift Card Holder
Misc: Foam Mounting Tape

Thanks so much for visiting with me today!

Divinity Designs LLC December New Release

Hi, everyone!  Welcome to the new release party for Divinity Designs LLC!  This month's release is short but sweet!  Check out all of the products but some amazing designer samples HERE on the website or HERE on Instagram.

My first sample features one of the gorgeous patterns from the Stained Glass Snowflakes paper pad, the Rejoice Stamp/Die Duo set, and the following dies: Sparkling Snowflakes, Christmas Dove, Double Stitched Squares, Squares, and the Square Card Base with Layer.  I chose to use blue and gold foil cardstock and iridescent gems which coordinated with the pretty paper.
Next is a fun shaker card created with a pattern from the Festive Front Porches A2 Card Fronts and some Flower Soft for snow.  The sentiment is from the Penguins Stamp/Die Duo set.  Additional dies used: Double Stitched Squares, Squares, Square Card Base with Layer, Double Stitched Ovals, and Ovals.
For my third sample, I paired the Mandala Dot Art Die with a pretty pattern from the Sparkling Snowflakes 6x6 Paper Pad, along with the Blessings Border Die, and a sentiment from the Snow Birds Stamp/Die Duo.  Other dies used: Sentiment Strips 2, Squares, and the Square Card Base with Layer.
And lastly, a colorful card created with the Mandala Dot Art 2 Die and a pattern from the Rainbow Sherbet Slimline Paper Pad, and a sentiment from Beautiful Day.  Shimmer paper, pink foil cardstock, and iridescent gems brought all of the colors together.  Other dies used: Butterfly Layering Combo 2, Bitty Blossoms, Sentiment Strips 2, Squares, and the Square Card Base with Layer.

Sending Sunshine

Happy Friday, everyone! This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to create your own background with stamps, stencils, etc. For my card, I created a stencil with the top layer die from the Flower Petals Layering Combo 2 Dies set from Divinity Designs LLC.  Using Blending Brushes, I was able to blend yellow and apricot inks to create this cool pattern with the die-cut stencil.  The butterfly  base and card mat were cut from copper foil cardstock, so copper pearls and copper cord were added to coordinate.  The sentiment is from the Birthday Flower of the Month - April set and the following dies were used: Double Stitched Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer, and Butterfly Layering Combo 3 DiesFoam Mounting Tape was used to pop up the butterfly and sentiment panel.
Here is a photo of the die set, showing all six layers:

Divinity Designs LLC - Blessings Box - More Inspiration

Hi, everyone! Today I will be sharing three more projects created with the January Blessings Box from Divinity Designs LLC! This has been one of my favorite packages so far.....I will be using these sentiments and butterflies a LOT in the future!!
My first card is for my Mom's birthday.  I used silver metallic paper for the butterflies and hearts since it looked great with the pink/gray combination.  These are the items used for this card:
Stamps: Beautiful Day
Paper: Rose A2 Card Fronts
Dies: Butterfly Layering Combo 3, Ornate Hearts, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer
Misc: Foam Mounting Tape and a Glitter Pen (for the sentiment's hearts).
Next is a fun design for a friend who is a Leap Year Baby.  She just turned "20" and is almost old enough to have a legal drink! :)  Her favorite color is purple, so I used purple foil cardstock with some dark ivory shimmer cardstock.  Here are the items used for this card:
Stamps: Beautiful Day
Paper: Watercolor Flowers A2 Card Fronts
Dies: Butterfly Layering Combo 3, Long and Lean Numbers, Pierced Circles, Circles, Pierced Rectangles, Squares, Square Card Base with Layer, Lacey Square Frame, Lavish Layers
Misc: Foam Mounting Tape, Blending Brushes, Glitter Pen, and sparkly gems.
For my last sample for today, I used the same designer paper and silver metallic as on the first card.  Here are the items used:
Stamps: Beautiful Day
Paper: Rose A2 Card Fronts
Dies: Butterfly Layering Combo 2, Ornate Hearts, Ovals, Pierced Ovals, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer, Beautiful Border 1
Misc: Blending Brushes, Foam Mounting Tape, Glitter Pen.

Sending You Strength

Hi, everyone!  Today I would like to share a card created for two challenges over at MFT, the Color Challenge 206 and Sketch Challenge 633.  This card began as a rare 'just for fun' card and had the card mostly completed when I got unfortunate news that I needed to send out a sympathy card for a friend.  Instead of using a sentiment from the 'Spread Your Wings' set, I chose a more thoughtful sentiment from 'Essential Sentiments'.  The butterflies were stamped with Stazon Jet Black onto ivory cardstock; a clear glaze pen was used as a resist, then the butterflies were sponged with the three colors for the challenge, then fussy cut and popped up with foam tape. The designer paper is also from MFT but is now retired. (I love getting good deals from the Clearance section!)

Sweet Thoughts of You

Hi, everyone!  This week's Color Challenge over at Splitcoast is to use Early Espresso, Mint Macaron, and Sweet Sorbet with a dessert option of something sweet.  I didn't have the exact colors, but got pretty close.  For my card, I chose 'Catching Butterflies' by Stampin Up and a white card base.  The images were stamped with Stazon Jet Black and lightly water-colored to keep the card from warping. The clouds were sponged and a butterfly trail was added with a fine tip marker.

Metallic Butterfly Birthday Wishes

Hi, everyone!  This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Pinterest board.....I thought this card was super cool! Instead of a snowflake, my card has a layered metallic butterfly cut from copper, gold, silver, and black mirror paper with the Butterfly Layering Combo Dies from Divinity Designs LLC.  The background panel was cut with the Pierced Rectangles Dies and spritzed heavily with Copper Glimmer Mist, layered on a Matting Rectangle.  The sentiment and dies are from Wonky Wishes.  Under the sentiment strip are three strands of metallic cord: copper, gold, and silver to coordinate with the butterfly.  The card base was cut with the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies set.

Butterfly Accordion Fold

Hi, everyone!  This week's Ways To Use It Challenge theme over at Splitcoast is 'Embellish'!  For my butterfly accordion card, I have used both butterfly die cuts and irridescent sequins for embellishments, plus a additional belly band too!  I was intimidated to try one of these accordion folds, but the die set cut out the card base and all of the layers, so the hard part was picking out the designer paper!!

This is the front/closed view, with the belly band holding it shut.

This is the open view which shows all of the panels.

Here is a list of all of the products from Divinity Designs LLC used in the making of this card:

Stamps: A Happy Hello
Paper: Plum Pizzazz and Whimsical Wildflowers
Dies: Accordion Fold with Layers, Butterfly Layering Combo, Butterfly Trio, Belly Band, Oval Stitched Rows
