Hi, everyone!
I know, it's been a while since I've written a blog post. Life stuff has kept me busy and though I have been creating most every day, blogging has been the last priority. Today I would like to share a fun project which features a few of the September release items from Divinity Designs LLC. The image and sentiment are from the 'Happy Fall' Stamp/Die Duos set, the paper is from the 'Autumn Plaid' Slimline Paper Pad, the treat holder was cut from the Festive Favors Dies set, the flower and leaves are also found in the Festive Favors set but they are also available in the Bitty Blossoms Dies set as well. The sentiment was cut and framed with the Sentiment Strips 2 Dies.
Thanks for stopping by! Come back tomorrow for the October New Release from Divinity Designs LLC!!!

Double Feature for Featured Stamper
Hi, everyone! I have two cards for this post, both for the Featured Stamper challenge over at Splitcoast. Last Sunday's card took all week to finish, so I'm posting cards for both last week's and this week's featured artist.
This week's Featured Stamper is Debby Hughes aka limedoodle....congrats, Debby!! I fell in love with this awesome shaker card. I had two rounds of trial and error trying to create an acceptable watercolor panel, so I went with designer paper instead. Instead of a sentiment strip, I chose a die cut sentiment. Here are the items from Divinity Designs LLC which I used to create this shaker card: from the July Blessings Box: Geometric Paper Pad, Pierced Balloon Shakers Dies and Sequins; Pierced Squares, Celebrate and Wish Dies.
Last week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Debra aka derck.....congrats, Debra! When I saw this beautiful card with the stars and the circle sentiment panel, it gave me the idea to make a door hanger. I started by cutting out the base and layers, then cut through with a circle die. Here are the following items used in creating this door hanger: America The Beautiful Slimline Paper Collection; Dies: Slimline Scalloped Rectangles, Slimline Rectangles, Slimline Layering Rectangles, Scalloped Circles, Circles, Long and Lean Letters, Letter Board, and Baby Blessings. All of the letters were cut out of red and blue and layered together (this took a while!) before adhering to the designer paper.

Bazinga Ball Pit Treat Box
Hi, everyone! This week's Color Challenge over at Splitcoast (Red, Blue, Green and a 'dessert' option of yellow) was absolutely perfect for a gift I wanted to make for a co-worker who LOVES The Big Bang Theory tv show. The color challenge colors are the same colors as Sheldon's robe in the famous ball-pit scene and the 'dessert' option of yellow was perfect for the Bazinga sentiment. For the box, I used the Splitcoast tutorial for the '3x3 Note Card Box'...I have used this tutorial many times, but this time I cut a square out of the lid and adhered a sheet of acetate to the inside. The plaid paper is from the 'Boho Bolds' Paper Collection by Divinity Designs LLC and the following dies used are also from DD: Alphabet Caps, Double Stitched Squares, and Squares.

Snow-cowboy Hot Chocolate Treat Holder
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Nancy aka Pansey65.....congrats, Nancy!! Wow, Nancy's gallery was filled with super cute and creative gift and favor ideas......my project today was inspired by all of them, mostly this adorable snowman muslin bag and these cute hot chocolate holders. For my hot chocolate packet holder, I used the following items from Divinity Designs LLC: 'Country Christmas' Stamp/Die Duos, Festive Favors Dies set, and the Rustic Christmas Paper Collection. The treat holder base was cut from black cardstock, then a gray wood-grain design from the paper collection was used to layer the front and tab. Once the circle aperature was cut out, a piece of clear acetate was adhered to the inside and the sentiment was stamped with Stazon Jet Black. The snow-cowboy was stamped in Stazon, cut out with the custom die, then colored with markers and water-coloring. Two flavors of hot chocolate packets were lightly adhered inside the favor pouch (some were wider than the others.)

Letterboard Door Sign
Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge is to find inspiration from Converse....I knew that they still made shoes, but had no idea of the variety! I chose these awesome sneakers as inspiration....the purple and black combo really flipped my switch! What I created is not a card but a letterboard sign for my Mother-in-law's utility closet at work. (All stamps and dies used are from Divinity Designs.) The black letterboard, letters, and lilac frame were cut with the Letter Board Dies set (available July 1st); the butterflies were stamped and cut with the Butterfly and Bugs Stamp/Die Duos set (a clear glaze pen was used to add dots to the wings before coloring as a resist agent); other dies used: Fence, Grass Lawn, and Scalloped Squares.

Chocolate Hearts Treat Bag
Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from birdhouses found on Etsy. My search ended when I saw this adorable Valentine themed birdhouse with the heart opening since it reminded me of the the heart inset die in the Festive Favors die set from Divinity Designs. The treat bag was cut out of Cherry Cobbler to match the strip of designer paper from the Heart and Soul Collection. The Layering Hearts Dies and Clouds and Raindrops Dies were used to cut out the added heart decorations. The sentiment on the tag is from the Festive Favors Tag Sentiments clear set.

Our Daily Bread designs October New Release!
Hi, everyone! Welcome to the new release party for Our Daily Bread designs! To see all of the new stamps and dies, more designer samples, and prize info, check out this post!
Here are the new and previously released items featured in my projects today:
My first project is a diorama card. I used to make these from scratch and it was very time consuming with all of the measuring and cutting. Now, the ODBD Custom Diorama with Layers Dies set cuts all of the pieces perfectly plus gives instructions on how to assemble it.....woo hoo!!!! Once assembled, the diorama folds to fit into an A6 size envelope...pretty amazing! I used burgundy cardstock to cut out the diorama frame, City Skyline border and Oval Die (mat) for the scripture verse. All of the white layers (Icicle Border, Snow Crystals, Curvy Slopes, and windows of the buildings) were cut out of Shimmery White cardstock....the camera did not reveal the shimmer unfortunately. Both the snowflake paper, scripture panel and backdrop to the city scene were all from the ODBD Christmas Paper Collection 2015. The scripture verse stamped onto the ODBD Custom Pierced Oval is from the 'Christmas Card Scriptures' set. Tiny yellow gemstones were added to coordinate with the gold tones in the paper.
Two borders were cut with the ODBD Custom Icicle Border Die....one was adhered to the inside and one to the outside of the diorama.
Next up is a nameframe which I made for my niece's birthday, using the new ODBD Custom Cloud Borders Dies, ODBD Custom Neighborhood Border Die, ODBD Custom Large Letters Dies, and the tiny hearts from the ODBD Custom Clouds and Raindrops Dies set. The gingham paper used for the letters and houses is from the ODBD Shabby Rose Paper Collection. To create the hillside, the Neighborhood Border was cut from the same piece of green cardstock twice. I just lined up the die with the first cut and used temporary tape to hold it in place for the 2nd cut. The die was used twice with the gingham designer paper, then the little houses were trimmed by hand and glued on top of the green panel. Since the trees were already green, I just highlighted them with markers. I used the same resizing technique with the clouds border so that it would reach across the frame in one continuous panel.
Here is a matching birthday card to go with the framed gift. I used the same ingredients as the frame, plus the ODBD Custom Large Numbers Dies, 'st' from the ODBD Custom Numbers Dies, and the HB sentiment from the ODBD Custom Happy Birthday Dies set. Once the scene was adhered together, the panel was cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies.
Thanks so much for hanging out with us today!
Have a happy, blessed October!!

The Lord is Good - Name Frame Gift
Hi, everyone! This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to pay tribute to one of your neighboring states with your project. I live in Indiana and my project today features the state of Kentucky in several ways: this nameframe is for my niece who lives in Kentucky, the grassy hills represent the hilly/mountainous regions, plus being in nature in the countryside is so spiritual, hence, the scripture verse. The following items from ODBD were used to create this frame: Scripture Collection 11, Butterfly and Bugs, ODBD Custom Dies: Butterfly and Bugs, Large Letters Dies, Fence Die, Grass Hill Die, Grass Lawn Die, Clouds and Raindrops, Pierced Circles, Circle Ornaments, Flower Box Fillers. The letters were cut out three times each, once from the polka dot pattern from the ODBD 'Rustic Beauty' Paper Collection, once from white, and once from plum.

Gift Box / Gift Card Holder Set
Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Spoonflower site......I fell in love with this yellow lace pattern and was inspired to create a matching gift box and gift card holder. For the box, I used the ODBD Custom 'The Giving Gift Box' Dies, along with the ODBD Custom 'Happy Birthday Caps' Die. The matching gift card holder was cut from the ODBD Custom 'Gift Card Holder' Dies set with tags from the ODBD Custom 'A Gift for You' Dies set, along with a sentiment from All God's Blessings Stamp/Die Duo. The tiny hearts were cut with the ODBD Custom Clouds and Raindrops Dies. When I started out, I did not intend to use black, however, the word die was not very visible, so I added the black shadow to it then coordinated the box and gift card holder with the little black hearts.
