Waves On The Sea - ODBD Sneak Peek!
Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a sneak peek of two of the upcoming May 1st releases from Our Daily Bread designs, "Waves On The Sea" and the "Fishing Net" background stamp. Less than a week away until the May sets will be revealed....yay!! I have used two Splitcoast challenges to help me with this card....Sketch Challenge #433 and the Ways To Use It Challenge today is to use numbers.....my numbers are in the scripture verse....it may be a stretch, but they are numbers!
Thanks for stopping by today!

My Beloved Is Mine
Hi, everyone! This is an Anniversary card for my in-laws, which I created with the "Romantic Floral Designs" set (compatible with Spellbinders Labels 26 dies) and "Scripture Collection 10": set, both by Our Daily Bread designs. For the design, I received help from Robin aka Missro, who was chosen for Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast. I chose this beautiful card from her amazing gallery.
The little hearts were cut out of scrap wood by my Father In Law.....he saves little scraps to make crosses, hearts, and little goodies which I can use in my card-making or scrap-booking. I thought it was fitting to use two of the hearts that he made, after painting them with "Siren" Smooch paint (the hearts match the red ink IRL, but they reflected too much light in my photo booth!)
Thanks for stopping by today!

Praise the Lord!
Hi, everyone! This week's Sketch Challenge over at Splitcoast is a clean and simple sketch....yay! I needed some creative help to make a quick birthday card for my Father In Law. The scripture verse is from Our Daily Bread designs' Scripture Collection 10 and the designer paper is Bo Bunny (Weekend Market). The twill ribbon is recycled.....it was wrapped around a package of wash cloths......I have used it on several cards, but this one took the last of it....so sad!
I will also be submitting this card to this week's Shining the Light "Scripture or Hymn Challenge over at the Our Daily Bread designs Blog.

The Tiniest Flowers
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Ellen Parker aka ebparker.....congrats, Ellen!!! I fell in love with the design of this beautiful card, but instead of combining an embossing folder at the top with a border punch on the bottom, I used the ODBD Quatrefoil Pattern Die as both background and border under the ribbon.
The quote and image are from the "Morning Glory" set, new from Our Daily Bread designs. The Quatrefoil Pattern die cut piece was trimmed by hand at the bottom to create the look of a border punch or die. A portion of the morning glory image was fussy cut and adhered next to the sentiment. The May Arts ribbon was tied with a Bow Easy. Then finishing touches of Zva Creative pearls and "Pearl" Glimmer Mist were added. The yellow was very difficult to photograph, so you may have to click on the photo to see the details (and Glimmer Mist).
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a beautiful weekend!!

Burst Into Song, You Mountains!
Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday!! I will be working on taxes this weekend (ugh), but had to squeeze in the Inspiration Challenge from Splitcoast before I get started. I chose this Biking book from Patina for inspiration. This is a birthday card for a co-worker. I wanted to make a CAS (clean and simple) card, so I went to the gallery at Splitcoast and searched for both "CAS" and "Masculine" and I discovered this beautiful card by Karen Dunbrook to CASE (copy and share everything)....thanks for the design inspiration, Karen!!
The stamps used are from the "Keep Climbing" set by Our Daily Bread designs. I used 2 pieces of scratch paper (and non-permanent adhesive) to mask off the stamped and sponged area. Some baker's twine and a button were all the embellishments needed. I will definitely make more like this.....quick and easy!!!
Thanks for visiting! Have a wonderful weekend!!!

'Welcome' Cross-stitch Frame
Hi, everyone! No cards to show today, however, I will be submitting this framed cross-stitch piece for the "Fruits and Vegetables" Ways To Use It Challenge over at Splitcoast.
Before I discovered stamping, my favorite hobby was cross-stitch. I started this kit many years ago and finished it on my last vacation. The blue gingham was supposed to be made into a pillow, but I decided to frame it instead, so that it wouldn't be a dust collector...who needs more of those?!
Here is a close-up view of the details:

ODBD April New Release Blog Hop!
Hi, everyone! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs April New Release Blog Hop!!! The team and I are super excited about the new stamps and dies this month......see them all on the ODBD Store Homepage or on the April New Release post!
If you have hopped from dear sweet Sabrina's blog, you are in the right place. If not, please head over to the ODBD Blog and start from the beginning.....we don't want you to miss a thing! The hop will run until Tuesday, April 2nd at 8 pm EDT. There will be four prizes awarded......one $10, one $20, one $30, and one $40 gift certificates for ODBD stamps, which will need to be remitted by the end of April. The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Wednesday, April 3rd.
For my first sample today, I have used the gorgeous new Quatrefoil Pattern die, along with the Morning Glory set.
In order to show off the gorgeous die-cut background, I chose to fussy cut two sets of the Morning Glory images and place them around the sentiment panel which was cut from the ODBD Exclusive "Antique Labels and Border" die set (shown later in this post.) The Quatrefoil Pattern die cut piece was popped up on foam tape over some matching designer paper in order to show some dimension.
My next sample features the "Romantic Floral Design" set (which coordinates with Spellbinders Labels 26 die set) and Scripture Collection 11, which was released in March during ODBD's 5th Anniversay celebration. For an accent piece, I cut out a strip with the border die from the ODBD Exclusive "Antique Labels and Border" die set.
In case you missed it earlier in the week, here is a sneak peek I made using the "Romantic Floral Designs" and sentiment from "Morning Glory":
Here is another sneak peek....this one features the "Hyacinth" set:
Thanks for hanging out with us today! Enjoy the rest of the hop!! Your next stop is with the incomparable Sandee!!! You will love what she has in store for you!!!
God bless!
