Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a nameframe gift and matching card for my great-niece, who is turning two!! The castle is from 'Special Girl', the scripture is from a retired ODBD set 'Childred of God', the fence across the bottom was cut out with the ODBD Custom 'Gilded Gate' Dies, and the little hearts were cut with the ODBD Custom 'Umbrella' Dies (available April 1st) and added to the glittery chipboard letters. After stamping the castle, I continued the cobblestone path to the gate by drawing it in by hand, then the scene was sponged using masking to protect the images. Ha, now it is clear to all that I am a stamper, not an artist! :) I would have added some flowers to the fence, however, there was not enough room in the shallow frame....boo hoo!
Here is the matching card which also features the 'Special Girl' set, along with some new dies from Our Daily Bread designs (available April 1st). The frame was cut out with the ODBD Custom 'Lacey Layered Squares' Dies and I used more of the tiny hearts cut out with the ODBD Custom 'Umbrella' Dies. The card layout is based on this beautiful card from Lisa aka countrybeamer, who was named this week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast.....congrats, Lisa!!!
Thanks so much for visiting!!

My first sample for today features the 'Warm My Heart' set, along with the ODBD Custom 'Doily Dies' set. The coffee cup was stamped, colored with markers, then cut out and popped up with foam tape over a doily die by Our Daily Bread designs. The doily was adhered to a caramel panel which was rolled through my curvy crimper. I dug into my stash and found some heart eyelits which I have had at least ten years....times like these are why I do not feel guilty for being a craft supply hoarder!
My second project features the 'What's Brewin'?' set, along with the ODBD Custom 'Bookmarks' Dies, ODBD Custom 'Recipe Card and Tags' Dies, and ODBD 'Rustic Beauty Paper Collection'. To start, I cut the scalloped bookmark from the Rustic Beauty Designer Paper, adhered it to the blackberry cardstock, then trimmed the outside mat by hand. I then used a circle die to cut the opening for the bottle, then used a Scor-buddy to score where I needed it to bend. The sentiment tag was cut from the ODBD Custom 'Recipe Card and Tags Dies' set, stenciled in green, then stamped with the sentiment in blackberry ink and lined with green pearls.
Here is a view of the tag without the bottle:

Dragonfly Blessings
Hi, everyone! Today's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Kerry Urbatch aka kerbear.....congrats, Kerry!!! I chose this awesome card as inspiration to create a birthday card for a co-worker, using the ODBD Dragonfly Single and sentiment from Doily Blessings. The edges were all 'doodled', the dragonfly was stamped in black, then colored with Pool Party and Night of Navy with sponge daubers, cut out and popped up, then highlighted with a glitter pen. The small square panel was sponged over a stencil. This was a very quick card to make, so I think I might duplicate it for future guy cards.

Happy Birthday Balloons
Happy Saturday, everyone! First off, wanted to remind you that today is the last day of Our Daily Bread designs' 7th Anniversary celebrations.......check out this post regarding the two blog hops and special sales events!
Today's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the One Kings Lane store.....this cute wrapping paper helped me to design a birthday card for my niece. While looking through my stash for lime green polka dot paper, I came across this floral design from Prima and thought it would compliment the hot pink Happy Birthday words, cut from the ODBD Custom 'Happy Birthday' Dies set. The balloons were cut with the same die set and the little heart is from the ODBD Custom 'Mini Tags' Dies.
Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a blessed weekend!!

My first card features a scripture from the 'God Verses' set, along with the ODBD 'Shabby Rose Paper Collection', and the ODBD Custom 'Vintage Flourish Pattern' Dies. The Vintage Flourish frame was cut in pink, then popped up with foam tape over the scripture panel and rose paper. Instead of adhering the white scripture panel over the rose designer paper, I used the same die to cut out a rose pattern piece to use at a later time, then inset the white piece in its place. The rose and rose bud embellishments were fussy cut from a different pattern in the 'Shabby Rose Collection'. As a finishing touch, several sprays of Pearl Glimmer Mist were added for some shimmer.
My second card features the 'God Quotes' set, framed with two dies from the ODBD Custom 'Vintage Flourish Pattern Dies' set, popped up over the ODBD Custom 'Daisy Chain Background' Die, embellished with a flower cut from the ODBD Custom 'Asters and Leaves Dies' set.

Hello, everyone!! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Chitra Nair....congrats, Chitra!!! I fell in love with the design of this fun card and used it as inspiration for a birthday card for my niece. I was also inspired by this week's Inspiration Challenge , to find inspiration from Robin Traversy's Pinterest cookie board.....I chose these gorgeous cookies. I will also submit this to the Friday Free4All Challenge, which was to use baby pinks and blues but not for a baby card. The designer papers are from a new paper pack from Our Daily Bread designs, called the 'Shabby Rose Paper Collection', the sentiment is from 'Life is a Gift', and the 'Butterfly Single' was cut out with the ODBD Custom Butterfly Die. The butterfly was colored in light blue and light pink with sponge daubers, then all of the butterflies and roses were painted with 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist.
Thanks so much for visiting!!

My card today features 'Scripture Collection 1', lighthouse from 'Keep My Lamp Burning', 'Fishing Net Background', the ODBD Custom 'Pennants' Dies set, and the ODBD Custom 'Pennant Row' Dies. The lighthouse image was stamped in kraft ink onto white cardstock, the edges sponged heavily. The verse from 'Scripture Collection 1' was stamped with Stazon Stone Gray onto white vellum; the vellum panel was turned into a sticker with a Xyron sticker maker, then adhered over the image panel. Paper piercing, twine, pennant embellishment, and silver brads were added, along with sponging the card base for a little more dimension. For the pennant, the gray pieces were cut with the ODBD Custom 'Pennants' Dies; the stamped pieces were cut out with the ODBD Custom 'Pennant Row' Dies, then each piece was trimmed by hand since I wanted knotted twine to connect them.
Here are the items used for my card:

God Is Good All The Time!
Happy Monday!! Daylight Savings Time has been a bit rough for some.....I myself will probably have an extra cup of coffee this morning!!! My card today is not a fave....some days you have it and some you don't, right? Today's Clean and Simple Challenge is to use ribbon....I love having a chance to use this denim ribbon from my stash. The clock image from 'Time' was stamped in navy (after 'stamping off' once); the sentiment is from 'God's Timing', both from Our Daily Bread designs. The clock hands were fussy cut and popped up with foam tape with a blue brad in the center.

Looking Back....the North Coast Creations February Release
Hi, everyone!! Today we are taking a look back at the awesome February release from North Coast Creations, to give you another peek of spring-time!!
Here are the two new sets I chose to work with this month, plus previously released items from North Coast Creations and sister company Our Daily Bread designs:
My first sample for today features the 'Daffodils' set, along with the ODBD Fence Die and ODBD Blooming Garden Paper Collection. The daffodil image was stamped, then fussy cut and popped up with foam tape.
My next sample features the gorgeous image from the North Coast Creations 'Pansies' set, a sentiment from 'Heaven's Masterpiece', and the following items from sister company Our Daily Bread designs: ODBD Rustic Garden Paper Collection, ODBD Custom 'Ornate Hearts' Dies, and ODBD Custom 'Mini Tags' Dies. The pansies were stamped twice so that I could fussy cut and pop up the top bloom. The yellow was colored with a marker, then the eggplant was sponged in the center, then highlighted with an eggplant marker. The blossom centers were highlighted with 'Gold Lame' Smooch Paint. The straight edges were paper pierced with a template and the white heart was pierced free-hand. The blossoms on the designer paper were highlighted with yellow to coordinate more with the pansies and yellow ribbon.

Cruisin' CAS Style!
Hi, everyone!! Today's Color Challenge over at Splitcoast is to use the colors of the swatch shown at the left, with the dessert option of making a Thank You card. Hubs and I will be going on another cruise in a few months, so this was a perfect opportunity to make a few Thank You cards (for tips for our wait staff and room steward). I bought this adorable stamp a couple of years ago from Stamper's Best to use for scrapbooking some of our cruises.....haha, out of four cruises in ten years, I've created TWO layouts! At this rate, I'll be a hundred before I get one scrapbook made!! lol!! Anyhoo, the ship was stamped onto the card base and again on scratch paper so that I could cut out a mask. The scene was sponged in the three colors, then highlighted with a white gel pen. The sentiment is from the 'Thank You' set by Our Daily Bread designs.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hummingbird Hello
Hi, everyone!! Today's Clean and Simple Challenge is 'for the birds'! The Technique Lover's Challenge is to create a circle shaped scene....a perfect opportunity to combine challenges! The ODBD Hummingbird Single was stamped then cut out with the ODBD Custom Hummingbird Die, then popped up over the Bee Balm flower and sponged clouds. A circle die was used to cut an aperature to reveal the scene stamped onto the card base; the top panel was popped up with foam tape. The sentiment is from the 'Miss You' set. To finish, there was no piercing and no ribbon, just some tiny pearls.....I'm still trying to get used to making cards that are 'half-naked'! lol!!!!
