Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a few more samples created with the latest quarterly Blessings Box from Divinity Designs LLC. Check out the details of the subscription package HERE.
For my first sample, I used Blending Brushes with the 'Water Spray' Mixed Media Stencil with different shades of blue in on Kraft cardstock. Once finished, I used Glimmer Mist spray....unfortunately the camera didn't pick up the sparkle. Foil cardstock and gemstones were used for a little more glam! As you can see, I love foil cardstock...here is a different shade of blue. The glittery layer is white cardstock, covered with a clear glitter adhesive film. Parts of the blue foil were covered with this before die-cutting the umbrella. Some of the raindrops from the background were popped up with Foam Mounting Tape. For my last card, I used the Paper-Piecing technique....the boots were stamped onto the designer paper, cut out and adhered over the stamped image. Thanks for visiting!

Love Celebrating You!
Hi, everyone! This week's Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast is to use balloons on your CAS cards. This is a perfect opportunity to use a new stamp set from Stampin Up, 'Hand Delivered'. The image pieces were black heat-embossed on white cardstock and onto a floral pattern from the Petal Promenade designer paper pack....on the back of the floral design was a marble pattern, so I alternated the balloons with the two designs. The full white image was fussy cut and the pattern paper was paper-pieced onto it; the leftover sections were colored with markers. The sentiment was heat-embossed onto the card base to coordinate with the image. A punched oval was added as a rug for her to stand on. No embellishments were added.....easier for mailing.

I Love You A Latte!
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Wanda aka Wendy2512....congrats, Wanda!! Wanda's gallery is IMMENSE and it was tough to choose just one card from many years of beautiful creations....I kept coming back to this super cute card! I started by cutting the large panel with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies from a striped pattern from the ODBD Fall Favorites Paper Collection and the small rectangle was cut with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies from the ODBD Latte Love Paper Collection. The coffee cups and sentiment are from the 'Hug in a Mug' Stamp/Die Duos set. The same striped pattern was used to paper piece the right cup and small heart was cut with the ODBD Custom Layering Hearts Dies set. I added a 2nd sentiment below on a panel cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies. Instead of enamel dots, I used five eyelets which have been in my stash for about 15 years! This card will go to a co-worker who is taking a leave of absence in order to care for her ailing parents.

Walk In The Truth (ODBD Sneak Peek!)
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is the talented Vicki Burdick aka justcrazy.....congrats, Vicky!!!! I chose this adorable card to re-create using an new June 1st release by Our Daily Bread designs called "Precious Girl". I love making one layer cards when I can....they are not easy for me, but with Vicki's inspiration, I was able to pull it off (though the layout was reversed). The little girl's gown was paper-pieced using the ODBD Gingham Background stamp.
Stay tuned tomorrow.....I will have another sneak peek from Our Daily Bread designs......this time it will be for a new patriotic set!
Have a blessed Sunday!

Penguin's Birthday Blessings on the Beach!
Hi everyone! Today I have a fun birthday card to share with you! This little penguin from "Polar Pals" has always been one of my fave Stampin Up images....isn't he adorable? I used paper-piecing on the sun and palm tree (by stamping on designer paper, cutting out and adhering over the stamped cardstock pieces). The sand was created by tearing and sponging; the water was sponged over a piece of scratch paper; the clouds were sponged over a punched scalloped circle.
I will be submitting this for the following challenges:
Splitcoast Color Challenge CC380: Tangerine, Chocolate, and Artichoke;
Paper Playtime: Anything Goes plus a Sentiment;
Stampin Sisters in Christ: Reflection of Me (I LOVE the sun!);
Raise The Bar: Hello Summer!.
Card details:
Stamps: Stampin Up 'Polar Pals' and 'Itty Bitty Backgrounds', Our Daily Bread designs 'Happy Birthday', and the palm tree and sun are from a Target $1 spot clear stamp set 'Fun and Sun Collection';
Cardstock: Stampin' Up Tangerine Tango, Summer Sun, Sahara Sand, Close To Cocoa, and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: SEI 'Sunny Day' (for paper-pieced sun and palm tree);
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin' Up ink pads Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette, Creamy Caramel, and Tangerine Tango Marker;
Accessories: Scratch Paper for masking the ocean, scalloped circle punch to sponge clouds, paper piercer and template, 'Me and My Big Ideas' rhinestones, sponge daubers, foam tape;
Technique: Paper Piecing, Paper Piercing, Masking, Coloring with Sponges, Tearing.
Size: A2.
Thanks for stopping by today! God Bless!

Paper-pieced Flower Pot Card
One Mother's Day card down......three to go!!! My husband's grandma, you know....the biker granny.....LOVES anything pink, so I paper-pieced blossoms from SU Delight in Life to decorate my first Flower Pot Pocket Card. You can find the Flower Pot instructions here......very simple to do and very fun!!! I used Close to Cocoa for the pot, Pink Pirouette Designer Paper from SU for the flowers, Certainly Celery for the foliage, Lace Stickles to highlight the flowers, and Pearl Glimmer Mist on EVERYTHING!!!!!
This card also qualifies for the "New To You Wednesday" challenge, to use paper-piecing, over at Christian Papercrafts Magazine's new site, which is up and running, with forums, challenges, galleries, Bible studies, and much more. You'll have to check it out!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a blessed day!
