Thanks for visiting! Come on back tomorrow for the ODBD August New Release!!! Woo Hoo!!

Fruit of the Spirit
Hi, everyone! Here is a super quick card I made to cover a few challenges over at Splitcoast.....plus it's a sneaky-peek of one of Our Daily Bread designs' upcoming August sets, called "Peaches"! This card took about 30 minutes to make....I LOVE when that happens! An A2 card was cut from peach cardstock, the "Gingham Background" was stamped on white, then cut into a banner shape, the scripture was stamped, then the image was cut, colored, and popped up. The only embellishment was the satin ribbon....no piercing, no pearls.....I must be ill! :)

Tranquility
Hi again! This is a quick birthday card for my brother-in-law. For inspiration, I chose this beautiful card from Sarah Gough's gallery......she is this week's Featured Stamper....congrats, Sarah!!
The stamps I chose are from the Our Daily Bread designs set, "The Waves On The Sea" along with the "Fishing Net Background". The twine was tied in three loose knots....nothin' fancy, just plain knots, since I don't know how to tie a real sailor's knot!! :)

Gingham Birthday Blessings
Hello!! Happy Sunday!! My card today was created using one of my favorite challenges from Splitcoast Stampers....the Queen for the Day Challenge. This week's Queen for the Day Challenge is to choose one of our past Queens which usernames are from E to I......I have chosen this beautiful card from Karen's gallery (aka imastampin). I loved the simple, elegant design....perfect to make a quick birthday card. My nickname for Karen has been "Wolverine" for several years since she uses her nails for distressing her paper! :)
I will also be submitting this to one of the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges at Splitcoast (exclusive challenges for Fan Club members only). I can't tell you what the challenge is, but the fabulous hostess is former "Breadstick" Stacy Morgan aka twinshappy. You'll have to join the Fan Club in order to find out what the fun is all about (there is a total of 42 challenges, a few each day....for an entire week!)
I have used the ODBD "Gingham Background" stamp, along with the "Grunge Butterfly Die" and "2-Step Butterfly", and a sentiment from "Mini Tags 1". The heart doily is from the Target $1 spot.....I picked them up earlier this year around Valentine's Day, but knew I would use them before next February!
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

For my first sample, I have used the "Barn" image, along with a sentiment from the "Find Beauty" set, plus the Fence Die from Our Daily Bread designs. This was a very quick card to make.....the image was stamped onto a one layer card, colored with markers, the grass was sponged over a scratch paper mask, and the clouds were sponged over a punched scalloped circle.
For my next sample, I have featured the "Gazebo" image. The card and image panel were cut out using Spellbinders Labels One, the scene was colored with markers and sponge daubers. Since I wanted the main focus to be the beautiful image, I only added paper piercing and a bow for the finishing touches.
Hope you have enjoyed the new sets and project samples today!

Jesus Loves Me, This I Know!
Hello! Today's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Heather Hoffman aka housesbuiltofcards. I chose this card as inspiration for this birthday card I made for a sweet little boy at our church. I used the "Precious Boy" set by Our Daily Bread designs, using paper-piecing for his pajamas. I love this fun "Camp-a-lot" paper by Bo Bunny so I used three designs from the pack.

Daisy Blessings
Happy Saturday!!! Today's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to choose an item from Persona Jewelry......I fell in love with the colors of this beautiful bead, so I created a birthday card for my sister using the ODBD "Daisy" image, ODBD Fence Die, and a sentiment from "Flourished Verses". The daisy image was stamped, then masked so that the outer edges could be sponged without coloring the white daisies. The inside was colored with a marker to match.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a blessed weekend!

God is Love
Hi, everyone! Today's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast Stampers is Jeanne Jachuna aka akeptlife.....congrats, Jeanne!!!! Her gallery is full of color and beautiful designs....I fell in love with the colors and layout of this gorgeous card. I started out with Our Daily Bread designs "Bird and Butterfly Labels", coloring directly to the stamp with markers (and huffing) before stamping. The image panel was trimmed by hand, but the coral mat was cut out with Spellbinders Labels 18. The sentiment is from "Fellowship Sentiments", the designer paper is "Boho Chic", the flourish is by Cheery Lynn Designs, the ribbon is May Arts, pearls by Zva Creative, and button and baker's twine by SU.

Remembering With You
Happy Saturday, everyone! Today I have a one layer, clean and simple sympathy card to share with you. I will be submitting this to several challenges at Splitcoast Stampers from this week. The Clean and Simple Challenge on Monday was to use masking on your OLC, one layer card.....I cut out a scratch paper mask of my image in order to sponge the baby blue around and within the calla image, then removed the mask and colored the lily with markers. Today's Inspiration Challenge is to choose a photo from The Pastry Studio.....I chose this beautiful "Mary" wedding cake with the blue ribbon and callas....so elegant (and yummy)! I have also incorporated this week's Queen for the Day Challenge.....choose a queen from A to B and choose a card to case.......I chose this gorgeous one layer card from Lynn aka allee's gallery (though I did add ribbon at the top). Lynn is super sweet and has a fabulous gallery full of beauty (and lots of ODBD cards too)!!
This beautiful set is "Loving Memories" by Our Daily Bread designs.....I use this a lot for sympathy cards because of the lovely calla lilies and there are many different sentiments to choose from.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a beautiful weekend!!

For The Lovebirds
Hi, everyone! This is my second post for today....had to make another card for the Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoast. There were so many gorgeous cards in Danni's gallery, so I chose another to case, this beautiful card. Instead of embossing folder, I used the ODBD "Vintage Border Background" stamp, and instead of designer paper at the bottom, I used satin ribbon and crocheted lace. The cake and bird images are from "Anniversary Blessings"; the banner and sentiment is from "Banner Sentiments"; the banner was cut out with a custom die from the ODBD Exclusive Spellbinder set, "Birdcages and Banner Dies" set.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Anniversary Blessings', 'Banner Sentiments', 'Vintage Border Background';
Accessories: ODBD 'Bird Cages and Banner Dies', 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, Spellbinders 'Opulent Ovals', Zva Creative Pearls, May Arts ribbons and lace, paper piercer and template, foam tape;
Size: A2.
Thanks for stopping by again!

Hippo Cheerleader for Featured Stamper
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Danni Bindel aka danni5199......congrats, Danni!!! Wow, can this girl color!!!! One of these days I will commit to joining the Copics community, but for now I had to do my best with my SU markers. I chose this adorable card from Danni's gallery.....I loved the layout and cheerleader theme. This image from Motivet is one I won from a challenge blog several years ago. I have heard that Motivet is no longer in business.....what a shame.....their images were adorable!!
'Ingredients' used:
Stamps: Image by Motivet, sentiment is SU 'Warm Words';
Cardstock: SU Pixie Pink, Almost Amethyst, and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: Basic Grey 'Sugar Rush';
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, SU Pink Pirouette and SU Markers;
Accessories: 'Border Carnivale' die by Cheery Lynn Designs, Spellbinders Lacey Circles and Circle Nestabilities, Gems by Nestabling, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, Oval punches by SU, paper piercer and template, foam tape, sponge daubers.
Size: 5-1/2 square.
Hope you are having a great Sunday!!

Thank You So Much!
Hello! Here is a quick thank you card I made using the layout from this beautiful card by Laura Nehring aka the craftysister, who was last week's Featured Stamper.....thanks again for the inspiration, Laura!!!
The butterfly is from Our Daily Bread designs.....it comes as a single or within the Butterfly Corner set, plus there is a matching custom die for it as well. The sentiment is from "Thank You Sentiments". I like to color with sponge daubers for a smooth look (since I don't have Copics or blending markers), so I stamped an extra butterfly, sponged coral and razzleberry, then cut around the image and adhered it to the die cut.
Before I sign off, just wanted to remind you all that both Our Daily Bread designs and North Coast Creations are having a special sale which run through Sunday.....check out the details on the ODBD Blog and NCC Blog.
Thanks for visiting with me!

You Have Blessed My Life!
Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers is to choose any item from the "Poketo" site as inspiration for your project. I chose this cactus planter set because the orange and green colors really stood out to me and I knew I had some retired SU designer paper to match...yay!!! Last week I did not get a chance to make a card for the Featured Stamper Laura Nehring aka thecraftysister, so I chose this beautiful card from Lauras' gallery......congrats, Laura! This week's Friday Free 4 All challenge is to pick one of the past F4A challenges....I chose F4A170 "Repeat After Me" and used more than one pearl...two different sizes....plus the pattern on the dsp is repeating as well.
For my card, I used the "Be Joyful" set by Our Daily Bread designs to make a birthday card. I love this simple design......can't wait to use it again!
Thanks for stopping by!

For my first sample, I am featuring the "To The Lovebirds" set along with the ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders "Bird Cage and Banner Dies" set. The scripture verse is from the "Love Scriptures" set.
First thing, I used the ODBD Quatrefoil Pattern Die with light gray cardstock for the background and popped it up with foam tape over some ivory cardstock. The bird-cage was stamped in pink, overstamped with a scripture from "Love Scriptures", cut out with the custom die from "Bird Cage and Banner Dies", hand-cut the mat from dark gray cardstock, then used a hole punch at the top so that some ribbon could be threaded through. The Cheery Lynn Designs "Victorian Romance Flourish" was cut out of ivory, then sponged with pink to match the cage. The card was sprayed multiple times with "Pearl" Glimmer Mist, but like usual, is a bit camera shy.
My second sample features the "Anniversary Blessings" set...... I LOVE this set.....so beautiful and elegant!!!
The release of this set comes at a perfect time.....my oldest brother and his wife will be celebrating their 30th in a few weeks. This set is so gorgeous that it was easy to go the CAS (clean and simple) route. The cake and topper were stamped on the Spellbinders "Floral Ovals" largest die cut, sponged edges with light purple, colored the hearts in the cake with light purple and then highlighted them with a glitter pen.
Hope you have enjoyed seeing the new releases.....head over to the ODBD Store to scoop yours up now! Purchase the entire release, the Bread Basket Bundle, for a savings of 20%.....yay!!!!
Thanks so much for hanging out with us today!

Hello! Today's Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast is "Summertime", plus the Technique Lover's Challenge is a twisty one......use any holiday's colors to make a non-holiday card. I used red, white, and blue for a non-independence-day card. This set, from North Coast Creations, is called "You're The Bomb".
Thanks for visiting! Come back later this morning for the ODBD July New Release!!
