Hi, everyone!
This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Kathy aka CarolinaKathy.....congrats, Kathy!! I really loved the animal silhouettes in this awesome card and decided to create a night scene with this 'Grace and Peace' set from Blue Knight Stamps. I began with a white card base, stamped the images multiple times in the Misti in order to get solid coverage. A circle mask was temporarily adhered before blending the navy and purple ink to the background. The mask was removed and a slight amount of leftover ink was brushed onto the white to soften it a bit. The Blending Brushes I used are from Divinity Designs LLC.

You Are Llamazing!
Hi, everyone!
This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the super fun and colorful website, Natural Life. This photo reminded me of this fun Jane Davenport stamp set, 'Llama Drama, which I bought on clearance during the Black Friday sales. The images and sentiments were stamped in Stazon Jet Black; the background was sponged and the images were water-colored. Royal blue ribbon was used to coordinate with the blue dress and bow. The image panel was cut out with the Pierced Rectangles Dies by Divinity Designs LLC and matted with the Matting Rectangle. The card was cut out with the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies. The clouds were sponged over a template cut out with the Clouds and Raindrops Dies.

Sunny Yellow
Hi, everyone!
This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is 'Sunny Yellow'.....it's been bitter cold here in Indiana and I'm happy to think about sunny days! I found this background panel in my stash, stamped the Taylored Expression 'Botanical Beauty' background and the sentiment from 'Large Peony 4' from The Ton (since they were both still on my desk from this card), cut the panel out with the Divinity Designs LLC 'Double Stitched Rectangles' Dies, and layered onto a yellow card. Three rhinestones were added for a simple embellishment. This will be a birthday card for a dear friend who will definitely appreciate the 'sunny yellow' right now!

A Field of Flowers
Hi, everyone!
This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from Calendars.com. I absolutely loved the color combo of this pocket calendar, so I used purple and aqua ink to create a Wrinkle Free Distress panel. Once the panel was dry, the 'Botanical Beauty' background (from Taylored Expressions) and sentiment from 'Large Peony 4' (from The Ton) were stamped. The panel was cut out with the Pierced Rectangles Dies from Divinity Designs LLC and layered with the Matting Rectangle. Though the camera did not capture them, there are a few tiny gemstones and some stickles here and there as well.

Amazing Day
Hi, everyone!
Brrrr...it's only 15 degrees here in Indiana today, but I'm dreaming of my magnolia trees being in full bloom....hurry up, spring!! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from Kia's Afternoon Tea Pinterest Board.....I chose this beautiful set as my inspiration piece. A few month's ago, at a stamp show, I picked up a couple of stamp sets from 'The Ton' stamp company , which I had never heard of before. Today I am inking one of them up for a birthday card for a friend. The magnolia image and sentiment were gold embossed on watercolor paper; the blossoms and background were water-colored. Since the tea cup and saucer had gold rims, I used gold metallic paper for mats and gold cording to coordinate with the gold embossing powder. The main panel was cut out with the Pierced Rectangles Dies from Divinity Designs LLC. The pretty gemstones are also from DD.

Hello, Cupcake!
Hi, everyone!
This week's Color Challenge over at Splitcoast is to use Granny Green, Mango Melody, and Melon Mambo....I didn't have all of the colors so I tried to get as close as possible. Since I still had this Sprinkles stencil and cupcake set on my desk from Saturday's card, I made another quick card for another niece's birthday. After stenciling and coloring the image, I added stickles for some sparkle.....most little girls love sparkles, right? The sentiment was cut out with the Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies by Divinity Designs; the stencil and stamps are from My Favorite Things.

Happy New Year!
Hi, everyone!
This week's Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast is 'New Year, New Stuff'.....today I would like to share one of 16 Happy New Year cards I mailed out last week. I finally invested in a Misti (stamp positioning tool) and it is definitely a life changer!! I was able to stamp all 16 cards in an hour...would have been quicker but I used the same snowflake so each card had to be stamped three times. Gemstones were added to the centers. The snowflake stamps are retired from Divinity Designs LLC (Snowflake Mini Set) and the sentiment is from the White As Snow Stamp/Die Duos set.

Hey There, Cupcake!
Hi, everyone!
Happy New Year!! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from Distintivs.....when I saw the sprinkles on this game, I realized I had not used this fun Sprinkles Stencil yet from MFT (retired) and the stencil led me to the 'All The Cupcakes' set and the word dies (also retired). After stenciling the panel, it was cut out with a Pierced Rectangles Die from Divinity Designs LLC. This is a birthday card for my niece who just turned three.
