Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Needlepoint.com website. Before I discovered stamping, my hobby of choice was cross-stitch. I have a storage container full of goodies waiting for me to retire so that I can get back to them....I'm just hoping that I still have eyesight left by the time retirement comes! LOL!!!! When I saw this gorgeous butterfly, I thought of the cool butterfly from the ODBD set, 'Boho Blessings'. The square panel under the butterfly was cut with the ODBD Custom Pierced Squares Dies, then paper-pierced throughout to look like aida cloth. Since I split the sentiment and stamped the second half inside, I will also be submitting this to the January Fan Club Challenge.
Here is the inside of the card showing the second half of the sentiment. I cut a panel with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies to frame the sentiment. (The card was tilted a bit when trying to photograph the inside so it looks crooked, but it is actually straight.)

Thankful For You
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Karen aka Art Deco Diva....congrats, Karen!! I chose this gorgeous card to case today. I used different stamps, dies, stencil design and instead of using glitter, I chose pink metallic cardstock. The rectangle was cut with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, the circle was cut with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Circles Dies from a pattern from the ODBD Romantic Roses Paper Collection. The butterfly was cut with the ODBD Custom Fancy Fritillary Dies and two sentiments were put together from the ODBD 'Hello Friend' Stamp/Die Duo set. Pink stenciling and three pink pearls were added at the last.

Share In God's Grace
Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Uncommon Goods store.......if I had a nautical style bathroom, I would buy this awesome shower curtain! I love the navy blue collage and white space at the top. My card is floral instead of nautical, but I used the monochromatic style of the curtain. I know I've been using this 'In My Heart' Stamp/Die Duo from Our Daily Bread designs a lot lately, but it's my new favorite set....the hydrangea is so easy to mask and layer!! I used three masks to stamp this one layer card, using just one navy ink pad.

Birthday Calendar is Complete!
Hi, everyone! I have been working on a birthday calendar for a few months, one page at a time. All of the stamps used are from Our Daily Bread designs and the blank calendar was from Stampin Up (the calendars have been retired for several years. You will find that there are some crafty companies which carry different versions if you do a little searching.) Now that my calendar is finished, I thought I would share a photo of the complete calendar. If you'd like info on the pages, here is a link list of each previous post which explains the stamps and techniques used:

Blast Off!
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Tracy Freeman aka Tracy_inkyfingers....congrats, Tracy! I LOVE this awesome space card and have attempted to re-create it (minus the spinners) for a birthday card for my nephew, using the 'Rocket Man' set and Space Man Dies from North Coast Creations. The background was created with the Outer Space Technique using watercolor paper and multiple layers of black and navy ink. Once the panel was dry, it was cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles, dotted with a glitter pen, then three stars cut from the ODBD Custom Sparkling Stars Dies. The sentiment was cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies. The moon, ship, and sentiment panel were popped up with foam tape for dimension.

Floral Hearts February Calendar Page
Hi, everyone! Today's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Design Sponge site.....I fell in love with the colors of these crepe paper rolls (which were used to make paper flowers). Finally, here is the last page of the birthday calendar which I have been working on for several months. I wanted this last page to be quick and simple (since I'm kinda over it, kwim?), so I used the small heart stamp and scripture verse from the 'Clean Heart' set by Our Daily Bread designs. Other than the challenge of getting a good photograph of something so tall (5.5 x 14), this was super quick and easy....yay!!

Our Daily Bread designs January New Releases!
Happy New Year, everyone!!! Our Daily Bread designs is ringing in the new year just right, with some amazing new stamps, dies, and one of the most gorgeous paper collections yet!!! You can see the entire new line-up HERE on the ODBD Blog, along with samples from my designer sisters and info on how to win new goodies! (Please note: prize information will be shared on ODBD's Social Media instead of on the blog.)
Here are the new items featured in my two cards for today:
For my first sample, the pistachio card base was cut out with the new ODBD Custom Center Step A2 Card Die; the beautiful pattern from the 'Romantic Roses' Paper Collection was cut out with the ODBD Custom Center Step Card A2 Layers Dies. The peony and leaves from the 'Hello Friend' Stamp/Die Duo set were stamped, colored, cut with the custom dies, then popped up with foam tape. The sentiments from the same set were stamped directly onto the designer paper. Clear gems were added for embellishments.
My second card was created with the 'In My Heart' Stamp/Die Duo set. The hydrangea was stamped multiple times onto the A2 card base, using masking. The blossoms were water-colored, the leaves colored with markers and pale yellow was sponged around the flowers. Another hydrangea was stamped, cut out with the custom die and popped up with foam tape next to the scripture verse. Liquid pearls were added to the flower centers and a few yellow sequins were added.
