Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Nan Cee.....I chose this beautiful card to case today. For my card, I am using a new set from ODBD, 'In My Heart' Stamp/Die Duo, with which I am totally in love! The hydrangeas were stamped in Stazon Jet Black, cut out with the custom die, colored with a pink marker, the centers were water-colored with Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist, then adhered to a panel cut with the ODBD Custom Ovals Dies, matted with the ODBD Custom Layered Lacey Ovals Dies. Instead of embossing the card base, I stamped the hydrangea image with Versamark, then heat-embossed in white. Liquid pearls were added to the centers of the blossoms.

ODBD Sneak Peek January Relase
Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the World Market site......when I saw this bottle of rose green tea,the pattern on the label reminded me of this wood grain designer paper from the 'Romantic Roses' Paper Collection from ODBD. I have also used the following items for my card today: 'Hello Friend' Stamp/Die Duo, ODBD Custom Center Step A2 Card Die, ODBD Custom Center Step A2 Card Layers Dies, ODBD Custom Decorative Vase Die, ODBD Custom Pierced Ovals Dies, and the ODBD Custom Ovals Dies. Baker's twine and sequins were added for embellishments. (Products will be available on January 1.)

I Have You In My Heart
Hi, everyone! Today's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to use a favorite new (or new to you) stamp that you had acquired in 2017. Hands down, my new fave is this "In My Heart" Stamp/Die Duo set from Our Daily Bread designs! LOVE this hydrangea image and I had a blast using one stamp plus a lot of masking to create this birthday card for a dear friend. After coloring the flowers, aqua ink was sponged around and between them, then liquid pearls was added to the centers.

Fragrance
Hi, everyone!! This week's Featured Stamper is Heidi aka howdyheidi, a wonderfully talented stamper who I have featured for ODBD Customer Card of the Day several times before! I had a blast cruising her gallery again and chose this gorgeous card to recreate today due to the clever embossing resist design. I began with a white panel, white embossed each corner with the wild rose image from the 'Fragrance' set, stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss. I used the same ink to sponge each corner from dark to light, then cut out the panel with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies. The leftover frame was adhered to the inside of the card. Instead of adding a stamped butterfly, I used the ODBD Custom Bitty Butterflies Dies set and tiny hearts cut with the ODBD Custom Clouds and Raindrops Dies, both cut out of Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

Sweet Birthday Wishes
Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Christopher Radko website.....I was inspired by the yummy cupcake inside this adorable snow globe. My card was created with the 'Sprinkled With Love' Stamps and Dies set by North Coast Creations and the NCC Sweet Shoppe Paper Collection. Since these are clear stamps, I was able to curve the sentiment easily to fit inside the circle. The curved border was cut with the ODBD Custom Leafy Edged Borders Dies and the sentiment panel was cut with the ODBD Custom Pierced Circles Dies, matted with the ODBD Custom Circles Dies set. Some gems and baker's twine were added for a simple finish.

Snowman / December Calendar Page
Hi, everyone! Here is the December page from the Birthday Calendar I've been working on for a couple months. One more page to go and I'm done....woo hoo!!! The image and sentiment are from the ODBD set, 'Warm Wishes' and the clouds were sponged over a template which was cut from the ODBD Custom Clouds and Raindrops Dies. The hillside was sponged over a piece of scratch paper cut with a craft knife. (Please click on the photo if you'd like a close-up view.)

You Bless Me So!
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Julene23.....congrats, Julene!! I loved the CAS design of this beautiful card due to the flowers, colors, and large sentiment. Those on my birthday card list each year get the opportunity to request themes, colors, etc. My friend, Margo, requested that I use a doily but the rest was up to me. So, for this card, I began with the ODBD Custom Doily Dies set and the 'You Bless Me So' Stamp/Die Duo set....I'm not sure I ended up with the Barely Banana card base since it wasn't the original plan, but I'm sure she will love that I broke out my sacred stash of retired cardstock for her! lol!!!

Love the Lord.....
Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Department 56 site......I fell in love with this lighthouse with the purple background. I bought an assortment pack of Webster's Pages designer paper many years ago and am finally getting some use for it......this lighthouse design is absolutely perfect for my inspiration pick! Since I wanted to make an A2 size card with a 6x6 piece of dsp, I fussy cut the opposite corner and adhered it to the panel for balance. The scripture verse from the ODBD 'Scripture Series 3' set was stamped in black, the panel was cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies, matted in red, then added metallic dots and red baker's twine. Since there is piercing, sponging on the edges, and the color of sand, I will also be submitting this to the Fan Club 'Snow, Sand, and Stars' Central Theme and to the Fan Club Inspiration Challenge since I am using a lighthouse.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Send Forth Your Light
Hi, everyone! This week's challenge over at the "Less Is More" blog is to use candles or anything depicting light. Since I needed to make a card for my Dad's birthday, I chose to use the "Light of Life" set by Our Daily Bread designs. The kraft card base was cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rounded Rectangles Dies. The image was colored with markers and the edges were sponged for a little dimension.

This Is The Day The Lord Has Made
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Becky aka bscovill....congrats, Becky!! I really loved the framed layout of this beautiful card, so I followed the same layout with different papers and used a scripture verse instead of an image. The stamps I used are from the 'Celebration' set, plus I used the following ODBD Custom Dies: Bitty Butterflies, Double Stitched Pennant Flags, and Double Stitched Rectangles. The designer paper is from the ODBD Shabby Rose Paper Collection.

You're Out of this World!!
Hi again! I went back for a second round for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast. When I saw this amazing glass pendant, it looked like a galaxy to me and inspired me to open a new set I bought more than six months ago and have not used, 'Rocket Man' and coordinating 'Space Man' custom dies from North Coast Creations. Instead of trying a messy technique to create the galaxy, I sprayed pearl and turquoise Glimmer Mist on a black card base, then pressed it with a book to keep it from warping while it dried. Meanwhile, I stamped, colored, and cut out the earth and Martian. The sentiment was cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies set. This was really quick and easy.....quick and easy = happiness!! :)

Dogwood Calendar Page
Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Southern Highland Craft Guild Online Store.....I chose this beautiful bluebird card with spring blossoms and blue sky background for inspiration for the April page of the birthday calendar I have been working on (forevah!). I used the images and scripture verse from the ODBD stamps (what used to be the 'Sing to the Lord' set) 'Bird' single and 'Dogwood Mini' set. After stamping the images, I used a clear glaze pen on the white dogwood flowers so that it would act as a resist when sponging the blue background. It took a little while to do, but it made the sponging so easy! (Click on the photo to enlarge.)

November Calendar Page
Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share the next finished page of the birthday calendar I've been working on. For November, I went with a Thanksgiving theme....I mean, who doesn't think of Thanksgiving for November? The cornicopia in the corner plus the sentiment is from the 'Give Thanks' set by Our Daily Bread designs and the wheat border is from the 'Wheat' mini set, also from ODBD. The images were stamped in Stazon Jet Black, colored with markers and the edges sponged for a more rustic feel.

Wishing You The Best!
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Donna Rudy aka Krashscrapper....congrats, Donna!! Wow, what an awesome, fun gallery to cruise through!! I finally decided on this gorgeous card to case today. I kept the blue/brown color combo, used brads instead of gumdrops, kept the 'wishing' theme, and used the curved shape with the sentiment at the bottom. For my card, I used the following items from Our Daily Bread designs: 'Wishing Words' Stamp/Die Duo, ODBD Custom Leafy Edged Border Dies, ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, and the ODBD Shabby Pastels Paper Collection. Instead of ribbon, I used baker's twine. This is for a co-worker who is leaving our company.....sniff, sniff!!

Let Me Sow Love
Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Paperchase site.....I've been wanting to try the recent tutorial on tissue paper watercolor, so when I saw this gorgeous calendar front, I had my colors for the technique!! I dabbed raspberry and peach inks on a craft mat then spritzed and let the colors blend. A piece of white tissue paper soaked up the inks and then once dry, was adhered to a cardstock panel which I turned into a sticker with my Xyron. Once the tissue was adhered, the 'Prayer of St. Francis' and birds from 'Francis of Assisi' set were stamped in black; the panel was cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies, matted in white, then pearls were added in the corners.

Our Daily Bread designs December New Releases!
Hi, everyone! Welcome to the December New Release party for Our Daily Bread designs! Due to my heavy work schedule, I was only able to play with one new stamp set this month, but you have GOT to see the entire AMAZING release....see the whole enchilada HERE! If you'd like a chance to win some goodies, please follow the instructions below:
Here are the ODBD products featured in my two cards today:
For my first card, I have used the following items: 'White as Snow' Stamp/Die Duos (sentiment, snowman image and coordinating die), ODBD Custom Snowflake Sky Dies (popped up snowflake panel and polka dot frame panel), ODBD Custom Oval Stitched Rows Dies (sentiment panel), and ODBD Custom Ovals Dies (sentiment mat). The light blue polka dot paper is from the ODBD Christmas Paper Collection 2014. This was a very simple card to make....the only time consuming part was placing tiny pieces of foam tape on the back of the snowflake panel. The ribbon is white with silver threads woven through.
My second card features the following: ODBD 'White As Snow' Stamp/Die Duos (sentiment, snowman image, and coordinating die), ODBD Custom Oval Stitched Rows Dies, ODBD Custom Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies, ODBD Custom Pennant Flags Dies, ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, ODBD Custom Clouds and Raindrops Dies (template for sponging the cloud background) and the ODBD Snowflake Season Paper Collection.
