Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge is to find inspiration from Beau-Coup....I chose this Fall Leaf Candy Dish photo. I chose a pattern from the ODBD 'Follow The Son' Paper Collection to match the (table top?) in the inspiration photo, along with the 'Be a Sunflower' set which fit perfect with the colors of the dishes. The image was cut out with the ODBD Custom Sunflower Die. The card base and designer paper were both cut out with the ODBD Custom Rounded Rectangles Dies (the designer paper was cut using the Die Re-sizing Technique to alter the width.) Due to the wrinkles in the leaves, I will also submit this to the 'Wrinkle In Time' Fan Club Central Theme this month. (Please note: the stamps, dies, and paper for this card will be available October 1st at Our Daily Bread designs.)
Thanks for stopping by today! Come back tomorrow for the ODBD October New Release party!!

This Land Was Made For You and Me!
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Beverly aka ruby-heartedmom...congrats, Beverly!! Wow, what an awesome gallery!! I chose this cool card to recreate....instead of using color blocking, I used four star panels cut out with the ODBD Custom USA Flag Die. The star frame was cut out using two dies from the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Stars Dies and the inset star was cut with the ODBD Custom Sparkling Stars Dies set. The tiny silver stars and red strip borders were leftovers from another card made with the flag die. The sentiment is from the 'Let Freedom Ring' set. The red strips were mitered at the corners to create the frame.

Spirit of the Lord - Bookmark
Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from Kirkland's.... I loved the message of God and Country in this framed piece and it reminded me of the scripture in the 'Justice for All' set by ODBD. I cut out each line of the scripture separately, sponged the edges, then adhered them to a bookmark cut with the ODBD Custom Bookmarks Dies from a flag pattern from the ODBD Stars and Stripes Paper Collection.

North Coast Creations September New Releases!
Hi, everyone! I am super excited to be a guest designer again this month for North Coast Creations! Check out all of the adorable new stamps and dies HERE. My designer sisters created the most amazing, creative projects.....check them out here:
Here are the items used in my two samples for today:
For my first card, a white panel was cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies, then the image from the new 'Llama Tell You' set was stamped three times. The clouds were sponged over a template cut with the ODBD Custom Clouds and Raindrops Dies. For a colorful mat, a pattern from the NCC Sweet Shoppe Paper Collection was cut with the same rectangle set. After coloring each llama, a clear glaze pen was used to highlight their eyes.
For my second card, the image from 'Llama Tell You' was stamped on white, colored, then fussy cut. (An extra nose was stamped and colored to pop up for dimension.) I used the 'Faux Wood' technique on a dark red card by swiping a brown ink pad from top to bottom to create the wood grain pattern. The frame was cut using the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles. A clear glaze pen was added to the eyes to give them a realistic look.
Thanks for hanging out with us today!

Coffee Is Always A Good Idea!
Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from Audrie's 'My New House Ideas' Pinterest board. When I saw this awesome coffee station, I was inspired by several aspects of it: coffee (need I say more?!), the gorgeous marble countertop, and the golden leaf handles for the canisters which match the gold tray! The countertop made me want to try the tissue paper technique which I first tried on this card. The coffee pot reminded me of my favorite stamp from the 'I Love Coffee' set by Our Daily Bread designs.....this is my motto!! :) The leaves from 'Autumn Blessings' were gold embossed on gold cardstock, then cut out with the ODBD Custom Fall Leaves and Acorn Dies. To cut out the sentiment panels, I used the ODBD Custom Ornate Ovals Dies and ODBD Custom Ovals Dies. Once the tissue paper was adhered to a piece of white cardstock which was ran through a Xyron machine, the panel was cut with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies. I will also be submitting this to the September Fan Club challenge since the tissue paper has wrinkles in it. Plus, the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is going on....will submit there as well!

Patriotic Butterflies
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Rachel aka stampinrachel...congrats, Rachel!! I chose this super fun card to recreate because of the awesome layout! Instead of fruit, my three objects are butterflies. The three butterflies were cut out with the ODBD Custom Bitty Butterflies Dies, the rectangle panel was cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, the sentiment from 'Let Freedom Ring' was stamped on white then cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies (the die was resized to fit the sentiment perfectly). The patriotic butterfly ribbon is some I found in the $1 bin at Michael's many years ago... I finally have the perfect chance to use it!

CAS Cowboy Silhouette
Hi, everyone! This week's Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast is to create a CAS card with a Western theme. I chose the 'Howdy' set from Our Daily Bread designs to create a birthday card for my uncle. I cut a piece of cratch paper A2 size, then die cut a rectangle out of it to create a mask. The silhouette was stamped in Stazon Jet black, then eggplant, navy, and tangerine were sponged to create the background. Once the mask was removed, some doodling was added for a frame.

Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Chris Smith aka inkpad.....congrats, Chris!! Wow, what an awesome gallery!! I had a piece of Bo Bunny designer paper picked out for my niece's birthday (who loves Japanese designs) but needed help coming up with a card design. This gorgeous card gave me the jump start I needed! I changed the strip from right to left and used a die cut instead of strip of cardstock, but used the matted oval design for my sentiment. I decided to cut some flowers to match the cherry blossoms in the paper. Here are the items from Our Daily Bread designs used in the making of my card: 'Beauty' stamp set, ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles and Pierced Ovals Dies, ODBD Custom Ornate Ovals Dies, ODBD Custom Bitty Blossoms Dies, and the ODBD Custom Flower Lattice Die.

Our Daily Bread designs September New Releases!
Hi, everyone! Welcome to the September new release party for Our Daily Bread designs! Wow, what an amazing patriotic release this month....new stamps, new dies, and new designer paper! Check out all of the new goodies HERE!
If you'd like a chance to win a gift certificate from ODBD, please follow the instructions below:
Here are the new and previously released items featured in my samples for today:
My first card features the awesome new ODBD Custom USA Flag Die, a sentiment from the 'Let Freedom Ring' stamp set, matted and framed with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Stars Dies and ODBD Custom Sparkling Stars Dies. The flag die was cut in silver, navy, red, and white, then the pieces were put together atop a piece of cardstock which I turned into a sticker with my Xyron machine. It was so easy to adhere them this way instead of gluing down one piece at a time!
My second card took about ten minutes to make....yay! I cut a strip from one of the patterns in the new Stars and Stripes Paper Collection, stamped the Pledge of Allegiance from 'Justice for All', then glued on three tiny stars which were leftover from the ODBD Custom USA Flag Die from my first card!
My third card is a shaker card which I created with another design from the Stars and Stripes Paper Collection and the 'Let Freedom Ring' stamp set. The designer paper was trimmed down to a 5x5 square; the shaker element was created by stamping the Star Spangled Banner onto a piece of acetate then cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Circles Dies set. Foam tape created the wall for the silver micro-beads then another circle cut from cardstock sealed the beads in. Some tiny silver stars leftover from the USA Flag card above were added as embellishments.
Thanks for hanging out with us!!
Blessings,
