Hello, everyone!! Today's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Nancy Williams aka nwilliams6....woo hoo, congrats to Nancy!!!! I chose this beautiful card to recreate using a verse from Scripture Collection 10, the cross of nails image from a new set, 'Admit One', and the postage stamp die from the new ODBD Custom 'Mini Tags' Dies, all from Our Daily Bread designs. I kept Nancy's design (including the distressed edges which are out of my comfort zone!) but added piercing, a bow, and pearls in the corners.
Before I go, just wanted to remind you that you have until 11 pm tonight to take advantage of the 20% sale over at Our Daily Bread designs....check out the details here. OR.....you may want to take advantage of the Cyber-Monday sale....check out the details for it here!
Have a blessed Lord's day!!

The Gate of the Lord
Happy Saturday!! Hope you all had a very blessed Thanksgiving!! After a couple of days of "down time", today is the day for stamping!! Yesterday's Friday Free 4 All Challenge at Splitcoast was to use your 'leftovers', any embellishments you've had for a long time...I have an entire storage container full of pearls which I bought five or six years ago, plus I dug in to my hoarded stash and chose one of my fave designer papers from the Memory Box 'Butterfield' collection. I have combined today's Inspiration Challenge, which is to find inspiration from the 'Sur La Table' online store.....I chose these nested planters, which reminded me of an iron gate. For my card, the gate was cut out of metallic cardstock with the ODBD Custom 'Gilded Gate' Die Set, the scripture verse is from 'The Gate', (both will available from Our Daily Bread designs on Dec 1). I did not want to cover up the gorgeous paper too much, so only added piercing, a few die cut clouds, and pearls for embellishments.

So Thankful For You
Hi, everyone!!! Today's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Audrie aka girlgeek101.....congrats, Audrie!!!! Audrie is the hostess each Saturday for the Inspiration Challenge (my fave!) and has the most amazing, creative gallery which is full of a wide range of styles and techniques!! I chose this gorgeous card to recreate....I loved the framed cutout and the simple but powerful design to help me create another Thanksgiving card to mail out this week for some dear friends. The Fall Flower Pumpkin was stamped onto ivory, cut out with the ODBD Custom Pumpkin and Flowers Die, colored with markers, then popped up over a designer paper panel from the ODBD 'Rustic Beauty Collection'. The sentiment is from the 'Doily Blessings' set and the seam binding ribbon was tied with a Bow Easy.

Copper Embossed Leaves
Happy Saturday, everyone!!! Today's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast will definitely make you hungry.....we are to find inspiration from the Harry and David site.....yummy!!!! I fell in love with this harvest cookie bouquet and had to make a Thanksgiving card! My card's layout comes from this beautiful card by Dianne aka Sarahebo, who was just dubbed Queen for the Day....congrats, Dianne!!! For my card, I used the following items from Our Daily Bread designs: leaves and acorns from the Autumn Blessings set, cut out with the ODBD Custom Fall Leaves and Acorn Dies, the Leaves Background stamp, and sentiment from Serve The Lord (retired). The images, background, and sentiment were all embossed in copper, then colored with sponge daubers in inks which matched the inspiration piece.

Shimmery Sand Dollar
Happy Saturday!!! My fave stampy time of the week!! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from Audrie's 'Writer's Passion' Pinterest Board. Since I do not wish to sign up for a Pinterest account, I was only able to see a few photos, but fell in love with the colors of this beautiful fountain pen. The layout of this card comes from this gorgeous card by #Francine, this week's Queen For The Day....congrats, Francine!!! The sand dollar image from 'Ocean Treasures' was heat embossed with silver, popped up with foam tape, then painted with Glimmer Mist, a combination of Patina Blue, Pearl and Silver.
Here is a close up view which shows the Glimmer Mist shimmer!
Thanks so much for visiting!!
Have a blessed weekend!!

Metallic Masculine Stars
Hi, everyone!!! I was planning to make a birthday card for my nephew, using the 'Reach for the Stars' set and ODBD Custom 'Sparkling Stars' Dies from Our Daily Bread designs, so when I saw the Sketch Challenge at Splitcoast today, I just had to play along!!! All of the metallic stars were cut out with the 'Sparkling Stars' Dies, the sentiment from 'Reach for the Stars' was copper embossed onto white, then sponged with gray. The background is AWESOME new designer paper from Our Daily Bread designs, called the 'Winter Collection 2014'......each of the 12 designs appears to be metallic but are easy to photograph since they do not reflect light like shiny or metallic papers.......Michelle Laycock designed this paper pack......she is a genius!!!!

Hot Pink Sparkling Stars
**If you are looking for the November New Release Post for Our Daily Bread designs, please scroll down one post or click here.**
Hi, everyone!! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Monika aka Monia......congrats, Monika!!! She has one super amazing gallery....wow!!!! It took a while to choose, but I finally went with this beautiful winter card so that I could play with my new ODBD Custom 'Sparkling Stars' Dies. The 'sparkle' sentiment is from 'Christmas Pennant Row', stamped in hot pink then cut out with the ODBD Custom 'Pennant Row' Dies. The bows were cut from the ODBD Custom 'Pennant Swag Die'. The background was embossed with a star embossing folder, then several sizes of stars cut from the 'Sparkling Stars' die set were popped up with foam tape. All of the edges were highlighted with Dazzling Diamonds glitter glue, plus the finished card was sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist. This was very difficult to photograph.....metallic pink cardstock, glitter, plus Glimmer Mist.....quite the challenge!! :)

Here are the products featured in my post today:
My first sample features the new ODBD Custom Sparking Stars Dies with gold glitter paper, the ODBD Winter Collection Designer Paper pack, an embossed background with the ODBD Custom Vintage Flourish Pattern Dies, and a sentiment from "Reach for the Stars" which was heat embossed in gold on a banner cut from the ODBD Custom Pennants Dies.
For my second sample, a quote from "Reach for the Stars" was heat embossed in copper onto the cardstock panel, then three of the ODBD Custom Sparkling Stars Dies were adhered with removable tape and cut out from the panel. Using the same dies, I cut the stars out of the Rustic Beauty Designer Paper Collection, plus made a 5-layer button for a simple embellishment. (Learn how to make your own 5-layer buttons here.) The four smallest stars were cut from the same paper and adhered onto the panel. The top panel was popped up with foam tape to give dimension to the cut outs.....the designer paper stars were adhered to the card below.
