Doily Blessings
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Linda aka Doodledop...congrats, Linda!! I chose this awesome medallion card to case using the 'Doily Blessings' set by Our Daily Bread designs. I used cantaloupe ink instead of olive, but kept the design as close as possible. I did add baker's twine since mine looked a bit plain.

NCC Blog....let us know you have finished!
Shown below are two new sets which I have featured in today's post.....there are two more new sets to see....check out the full release HERE!
My first sample features the 'Daffodils' set. This was a very quick card to make and I will definitely duplicate it. The daffodil image and beautiful quote were stamped in black onto a white panel, the clouds were sponged over a scalloped circle, the 'grass' was sponged over a scratch paper mask, and the daffodils were colored with markers. To keep the design simple, I only added paper piercing, pearls in the corners and celery ribbon.
My next sample features the 'Pansies' set, along with two die sets (from sister company, Our Daily Bread designs), ODBD Custom 'Doily' Dies and ODBD Custom 'Mini Tags' Dies. The pansy image was stamped three times in order to cut out and pop up some 3d layers. The pansies were colored mostly with sponge daubers, then highlighted with markers and 'Gold Lame' Smooch was painted in the centers for a little 'Wow Factor'! The ribbon on the tag was tied with a piece of gold cord to coordinate with the gold Smooch paint. This image is perfectly drawn so that cutting 3d layers is super easy....I can't wait to do it again!!
Below is a clean and simple Sneak Peek card I shared a few days ago, featuring the 'Pansies' set, colored in yellow and lavender, highlighted with a glitter pen and sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist:
Thanks for celebrating spring with us today!!
God bless!

Cantaloupe and Gray Hello!
***If you are looking for the Our Daily Bread designs New Release Blog Hop, please scroll down one post or click here.
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is the uber-talented Jean Manis....congrats, Jean!!! What a super creative and gorgeous gallery!!! I fell in love with the layout design and colors of this beautiful card. For my card, I cut out a tag using the ODBD Custom Bookmarks Dies set, heat embossed the wildflower silhouette from 'Miss You' in white, then tied a piece of gray ribbon through the cut out. The background panel was stamped in cantaloupe ink using the ODBD Chalkboard Fan Background; the doily from the ODBD Custom Doily Dies set was stenciled in gray ink and the ODBD Custom Hello Die was popped up with foam tape.
Thanks for visiting with me!!

Birthday Doily for Featured Stamper
Hi, everyone! This week at Splitcoast we are saying thank you to Bridget Finlay (aka bfinlay) who is stepping down from being a Featured Stamper Challenge Hostess, so she is our honorary Featured Stamper this week. I chose this wonderful card from her gallery to case, using the Birthday Doily set from Our Daily Bread designs. I used a leaf stencil with green ink and a circle pattern stencil with blue, then stamped the doily image and sentiment. Using an air-art tool and a green marker, little ink spritzes were added, then paper piercing, pearls, and baker's twine.
Thanks for visiting today!

Inspired Birthday Doily
Hi, everyone!! It's the weekend.....woo hoo!!! Today I would like to share a birthday card created for my niece, using two challenges from Splitcoast. Today's Inspiration Challenge is to find inspiration from one of the photos from the {more} Sprinkled Joy Etsy store, ......I loved the fresh colors of these straws. The card design was inspired from this week's Queen for the Day, TrishG.....I fell in love with this gorgeous card and had to try my hand at recreating it! I used the Birthday Doily set (inked the stamp with markers, then spritzed before stamping) and Gingham Background, both from Our Daily Bread designs.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Welcome to ODBD Anniversary Week!
Our Daily Bread Designs will be one year old on March 17th! Kelley, owner of ODBD, and Judy, our Design Team manager have sooooo much fun stuff planned for the next week......and the fun stuff starts today!!!
ODBD Scavenger Hunt: check out Judy's blog for all the details on how to play and how to win prizes!!!
Check out Amy's blog for a tutorial on how to use the Scor-pal scoring system!
Blog candy anyone? Check out Angel's blog and a demonstration on using Shimmerz!
This card I have made for the Splitcoast color challenge of Rose Red, Always Artichoke, and Basic Black. I used a verse from "Path of Life" from Our Daily Bread Designs, layered over a paper doily. This gorgeous paper is from the "Porcelain" line of Basic Grey. This paper plus the green pearls can also be found at ODBD. Oh yeah, the photo corners are from an EK Success punch. Have an awesome day!
