Hi, everyone! This card was created for my little sister's baby shower. The following ODBD Custom Dies were used to create this card: Alphabet Flags, Large Banners, Grass Lawn, Fence, Clouds and Raindrops (tiny hearts and cloud stencil), Birthday Balloons, and Pierced Rectangles. I will be submitting this card to the Friday Free4All 'Balloon' Challenge over at Splitcoast.

The Heart's Prayer
Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a quick CAS card created with the 'Marvelous Things' stamp set, ODBD Custom Musical Notes Dies, ODBD 'Notable Notes' Paper Collection, and the ODBD Custom Big Balloon Die. To give the white card base a bit of character, I used an Air-art tool with a gray marker to create a few light splatters. After cutting the balloon from the designer paper and sponging the edges, it was layered on black cardstock then the mat was fussy cut. Due to the fussy cutting, I will be submitting this to the SCS Fan Club Central Theme for September.

Then Sings My Soul
Hi, everyone! My card today combines three challenges from Splitcoast this week: the Clean and Simple 'Frame It' Challenge , Color Challenge of Soft Suede, Berry Burst, and Pool Party, and Featured Stamper Challenge (I chose this gorgeous card from Preethi's amazing gallery). I thought that this saxophone image from 'Marvelous Things' would look cool with all three colors, so I colored it with markers before stamping. I also used the three colors to create a panel using the Wrinkle Free Distress Technique; once the panel was dry, I cut a frame using the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies. The tiny notes were stamped using the same image, then fussy cut with paper snips....this tiny detail qualifies my card for the September Fan Club Central Theme.

Celebrating You on Birthday Number Two!
Hi, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge is to find inspiration from the Paper and Stitch Blog......I fell in love with the assorted colors in this amazing bouquet with her lavender dress and used the colors to make a background using the Wrinkle Free Distress Technique. I used coral, aqua, purple, and pink ink......the ink pads were dotted randomly onto a craft sheet, spritzed with water, then mopped up with a panel of watercolor paper. Once the panel was dry, it was cut with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies and the ODBD Custom Big Balloon Die was cut out of the rectangle. The sentiment from 'Celebrating You' was stamped in a repeating pattern onto a white panel, matted in coral. The layered '2' was cut out with the ODBD Custom Large Numbers Dies and the tiny hearts were cut out with the ODBD Custom Clouds and Raindrops Dies. Coral baker's twine was added to the balloon.
I didn't have any large gift bags other than plain, so I used the ODBD Custom Large Alphabet Dies to add our niece's name and made a heart stencil using the ODBD Custom Layering Hearts Dies. Since we live 40 minutes from anywhere, sometimes you have to improvise when you can't get to a store!

Rockin' with Alcohol Inks!
Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from Real Simple's online magazine. When I saw this amazing cell phone cover in one of the articles, I instantly thought about alcohol inks and headed to my room! I used eggplant, navy, silver, and pearl on glossy cardstock. Once the panel was finished, I used the ODBD Custom Musical Notes Background Die to cut out the music score, then popped it up with foam tape. I didn't want to waste the extra pieces which were cut out, so I created a second card with an eggplant frame to insert the cut-out pieces from the 1st background. From the alcohol ink panel, there was enough leftover to cut out the guitars, guitar pick, and insert pieces with the ODBD Custom Guitar Dies set. A clear glaze pen was used on the eggplant pieces since most guitars are super shiny. The sentiments for both cards are from the 'Jesus Rocks' stamp set. For this card, the following ODBD Custom Dies were also used: Sparkling Stars, Double Stitched Pennant Flags, Pennant Flags, Double Stitched Circles, and Circles.
The additional ODBD Custom Dies used for this card are: Sparkling Stars and Double Stitched Stars.
Thanks so much for visiting!
Have a blessed weekend!

Our Daily Bread designs September New Release
Hi, everyone! Another new month means that there is another awesome new release from Our Daily Bread designs! This month's theme is music.....check out the amazing stamps, dies, gorgeous paper pack, and blog hop prize info HERE!
Here are the new and previously released items featured in my two cards for today:
My first card is pretty straight-forward. I chose a beautiful pattern from the ODBD Notable Notes Paper Collection, stamped the 'Old Rugged Cross' Background directly to the designer paper, distressed and inked the edges, then adhered to a lavender card base. The layered music notes were cut with the ODBD Custom Musical Notes Dies from the same paper pack. The layered cross in the corner was cut with the ODBD Custom Ornamental Crosses Dies set.
My second card features the drum set image from the 'Jesus Rocks' set which was stamped onto white vellum. The vellum panel was cut at an angle to look like a spotlight and adhered to the lavender background. The banner was created with the ODBD Custom Alphabet Flags Dies. The valance was created by cutting three ovals with the ODBD Custom Ovals Dies (shaped with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies set); the curtains were cut from the ODBD Custom Curtains and Valance Dies set. The tiny stars were cut with the ODBD Custom Sparkling Stars Dies set. All of the papers (except the black) are from the ODBD Notable Notes Paper Collection.
Thanks for hanging out with us!
