You've Got Style

Happy Friday, everyone!  This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to 'Put A Wheel On It'.  I needed a quick birthday card to put in the mail, so I grabbed the 'Driving By' set by Stampin Up.  The car image was stamped with Stazon Jet Black, colored with markers, highlighted with a white gel pen.  The background was sponged over a cloud stencil and the road was sponged over a piece of scratch paper. It took less than fifteen minutes to complete this card....I love that!!!

CAS Thank You Card

Hi, everyone! This week's Clean and Simple Challenge is to create a CAS Thank You card.  The stamps are from the Stampin Up set, Flowing Flowers, and I placed each stamp in my MISTI, inked with coral, then sponged razzleberry on the edges of the stamps a little at a time until it was just right. Once the flowers were done, the sentiment was stamped with razzleberry. I'm happy that I chose the ivory card instead of white.

Happy Graduation 2023!!

Hi, everyone! This week's Ways To Use It Challenge over at Splitcoast is to feature numbers on your project. My card today is for my nephew's high school graduation. To match his school colors, I was thrilled to find some navy metallic cardstock in my stash plus gold and green foil cardstock to go with it! All of the dies are from Divinity Designs LLC: Large Numbers, Sparkling Stars, Congratulations, Slimline Pierced Frame, Slimline Thin Pierced Frame, Slimline Card Base.  Foam Mounting Tape was used to pop up the numbers and layers.

Faux Wood Masculine Birthday Card

Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splicoast is Kathy aka Muscrat....congrats, Kathy! Her gallery is HUGE (nearly 3100 cards!) and it was tough to decide which card to case. I went to the earliest uploads in her gallery and fell in love with this masculine card. For my card, I kept the blue/gray combo but added some kraft ink and used different stamps. The stamps are from 'Living Water' by Divinity Designs LLC; dies used: Double Stitched Rectangles and Double Stitched Circles. The wood-grain layer was created with the Faux Wood Technique, by swiping gray and kraft ink pads onto gray cardstock.  Navy Baker's Twine was added instead of ribbon.

Welcome, Baby Girl!

Hi, everyone! This week's Friday Free4All Challenge theme is 'Oh Baby Baby!'. This accordion style card was created for my niece for her new baby girl. All of the items used are from Divinity Designs LLC.  The stamped sentiments and scripture are from 'Sweet Baby'; the designer papers are from 'Pretty Pink Peonies'; Dies used are: Accordion Fold with Layers, Accordion Fold Add-On, Baby Blessings, Scalloped Rectangles, Scalloped Ovals; Misc items: Blending Brushes and Foam Mounting Tape. Though this looks a bit complicated, it was very easy to put together after the pieces were die cut and stenciled. The center sentiment reads 'Children are a gift from the Lord. Psalm 127:3. (It was difficult to get a good photo of the open view...I need a larger 'photo booth'!)

Divinity Designs LLC June New Release!

Hi, everyone! Wow, it's June already!!! It's also time for another new release from Divinity Designs LLC! Check out all of the gorgeous new papers, dies, stamps, and amazing designer samples HERE or on Instagram HERE! Here are the new goodies featured in my three projects for today:

My first card features one of the gorgeous patterns from the Square Pairs Paper Pad, framed with the Ornamental Square Set which was cut from blue foil cardstock.  The sentiment stamp is from 'Twas Grace, framed with a small Rectangle Die, matted onto a Treat Tags Die.  In the corner is a Rolled Rose Flower Die along with Rose Leaves Dies, layered with more of the designer paper plus an extra layer of pink cardstock.  The large Amazing die is from the Amazing Grace With Layers Dies set.  Foam Mounting Tape was used to pop up the layers for dimension. The card was cut and embossed with the Square Card Base with Layer Dies set.

My second card features the Mini Slimline Tri-Shutter Die set which includes the layer dies.  I chose another of the gorgeous patterns from the Square Pairs Paper Pad.  This designer paper matches the colors in the previously released Beautiful Blossoms 1 Paper/Die Duos pack, so I created a bouquet with the Decorative Vase Die (sorry, I didn't realize the Vase was retired) for the front panel and a smaller bunch for the inside.  The sentiment stamps are from 'Twas Grace.  Other products used are: Ornate Ovals Dies, Sentiment Strips 2 (resized to fit each word), Butterfly Trio Dies, Blending Brushes, and Foam Mounting Tape.

My third sample for today features the Ornamental Square Set dies, the third floral pattern in the Square Pairs Paper Pad plus its coordinating sheet for the inside.  The inset die from the Ornamental Square Set was used to cut through the front of the card to create an aperature.  The song lyrics on the inside are from the 'Twas Grace stamp set, framed with the Circles and Scalloped Circles Dies. Other items used are: Blending Brush, Foam Mounting Tape, Squares Dies, Square Card Base with Layer Dies.
