Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast is Karen aka Redbugdriver....congrats, Karen!!! I chose this beautiful card to case today because of the clean layout and floral design. For my card, I started by cutting some panels with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies and the ODBD Custom Circle Scalloped Rectangles Dies. The stamps used are from the 'Tulips' set and the flowers were cut out with the ODBD Custom Tulip Die. Since I do not own Copics or blendable markers, I colored the tulips with sponge daubers using masking...that's the best way I know to get a smooth look. (Note: the 'Tulips' set, 'Tulip' Die, and Circle Scalloped Rectangles Dies will be available on March 1st.)

Thanks a Million!
Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Dribbble site.....I fell in love with the gorgeous gradient colors in this Leaf Logo by digital artist Yoga Perdana. For my card, I started by cutting two white panels with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies. One panel was sponged with colors to match my inspiration piece; the other panel was cut five times with an insert die strip from the ODBD Custom Glorious Gable Boxes Dies set. The die cut panel was popped up with foam tape over the colored panel which was adhered to the Melon Mambo card base. The word die and sentiment are from the ODBD 'Thanks for Everything' Stamp/Die Duo set. Two pink pearls were added as accents.

For My Niece
Happy Saturday, everyone! My card today combines two challenges from this week over at Splitcoast, the Featured Stamper and Inspiration Challenges. The Inspiration Challenge is to find inspiration from one of the photos on the Details, Ribbons, and Bows Pinterest board.....I loved the pink ribbon and soft rose design in this photo. The layout for my card was cased from this beautiful card created by Joyce Ann aka AnniePanda who is this week's Featured Stamper.....congrats, Joyce Ann! The white panel was cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies, then the bottom portion was cut at an angle with the ODBD Custom Leafy Edged Borders Dies. The banner strip was cut out of a rose design from the ODBD Shabby Rose Paper Collection then a heart cut out with the ODBD Custom Heavenly Hearts Dies and ODBD Custom Layering Hearts Dies was adhered over the strip. The sentiment is from the 'To My Favorite' stamp set. I used pink satin ribbon to coordinate with the inspiration photo. Pink pearls were added instead of sequins as in Joyce Ann's card.

Heavenly Hearts Treat Basket
Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to choose a baby item from the Spearmintlove site....I fell in love with this pink teether! I have used the ODBD Custom Heavenly Hearts Dies to create a treat basket. These dies are meant to cut out inset patterns in the sides of the new ODBD Custom Glorious Gable Boxes but I used them separately for this fun project. I cut out four panels for the sides, a square for the bottom, and the handle was created by cutting three of the rectangle patterns on a strip, then trimmed down to size. (Please click here to see the die inserts used and modified for this project.) The sides were held together with temporary tape while the inside corners and bottom were reinforced with tiny strips of cardstock. (I may have to do a tutorial later!) The sentiment from 'Let Love Grow' was stamped onto a panel cut with the ODBD Custom Mini Labels Dies. The little heart is from the ODBD Custom Layering Hearts Dies. I will also submit this to the Friday Free4All Challenge, the theme of which was 'In The Pink'.
Here is a view of the basket handle, attached to the sides with pink brads:
Here is a view of the front, which shows the sentiment panel a bit better:

Valentine Birthday
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Anita Bakker aka snietje....congrats, Anita!! I chose Anita's gorgeous 'Romantic' card to case today.....loved the layout and pretty floral design. Instead of a square, I changed it to an A2 for easier mailing. The following items from Our Daily Bread designs were used to create my card: ODBD Custom Tulip Heart Die, ODBD Custom Layering Hearts Dies, ODBD Custom Beautiful Borders Dies, ODBD You Bless Me So Stamp/Die Duo, ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies, and the ODBD Shabby Rose Paper Collection. This card is for a co-worker whose birthday is on Valentine's Day.

Violet Hearts Inspiration
Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the Pandora jewelry site.....I was drawn to this white enamel charm with the purple hearts. I've been wanting to try a negative die cut card with the new ODBD Custom Layering Hearts Dies and this is a perfect opportunity! The polka dot paper from the ODBD Plum Pizazz Paper Collection was cut with the ODBD Custom Rectangles Dies, the white panel was cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies, various sized hearts were used for the cut outs, a sentiment from 'Hugs and Kisses' was stamped, then the white panel was popped up on foam tape over the purple panel. Instead of using ribbon, some tiny purple hearts cut with the ODBD Custom Umbrellas Dies set were added in the corners.

Grungy Heart
Hi, everyone! Today's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to make a Valentine card. I combined the new ODBD Custom Tulip Heart Die and ODBD Custom Layering Hearts Dies with the ODBD Custom Angel Wings Dies and ODBD Custom Steampunk Gears Dies to create a grungy valentine. (Yep, this is about as grungy as I can go without freaking out! lol! ) The copper die cuts were all sponged with Stazon Timber Brown (since regular ink would wipe off). The copper embossed sentiment is from 'Hugs and Kisses'; the designer paper background, from the Heart and Soul Paper Collection was cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies and was matted with the ODBD Custom Lavish Layers Dies. The tiny 'faux brads' in the corner were cut outs from the gear dies.

Our Daily Bread designs February New Releases!
Hi, everyone! Welcome to the February New Release party for Our Daily Bread designs! Wow, what an amazing release this month....my designer sisters and I have fallen in love with the new dies and stamps! After all, this is the month of love! You can see the entire new release HERE!
If you'd like a chance to win some goodies, please follow the instructions below:
* Kathy * Lisa * Sandee * Dawn * Angie (me) * Julie * Cathy * * Grace * Chris * Robin * Diana * Lori * Helen * Sabrina *
Here are the new and previously released items featured in my two projects for today:
Instead of creating a treat box, I used the new ODBD Custom Glorious Gable Box Dies to make a paper lantern, which why I chose gray cardstock. After cutting out the two halves of the box, the ODBD Custom Heavenly Hearts Dies were used to cut out the pretty flourishes, then the ODBD Custom Layering Hearts Dies were used to cut out the heart openings and small white heart. Before assembling the box, I used vellum to line all of the die cut panels except for the front, so that the tea light would be visible.
The white heart on the front was stenciled in gray and the sentiment from 'To My Favorite' was stamped in black. The accent flower was cut with the ODBD Custom Bitty Blossoms Dies and ODBD Custom Fancy Foliage Dies.
The matching card was cut out with the ODBD Custom Tulip Heart Die. The shaped card was cut out with white; a gray heart was cut out with the ODBD Custom Layering Hearts Dies for the back of the card and the flourished top panel was cut with the ODBD Custom Tulip Heart Die. When gluing the top heart to the white card, I intentionally offset them so that some of the white would show through. The sentiment panel was cut with the ODBD Custom Mini Labels Dies and was stamped with a sentiment from 'Let Love Grow'.
Thanks for hanging out with me and my Sistah Sticks today!
