Hello! Today's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Debby4000....congrats, Debby!! I chose the design of this beautiful card to case. I have combined this challenge with a couple of the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges as well....since there will be a total of 49 challenges for DTGD this week, there is no way I will be able to make a card for each one since I have to work, so combo it will be!!! The sentiment and little flip flops I used are from a new set from Our Daily Bread designs, called 'Flip Flop Fun'; I also used the ODBD Custom Flip Flop Dies to cut out the flip flops. Each was watercolored, dotted with stickles, then popped up over a Naturals White card which was scored with my Scor-buddy (the scored lines were lightly inked with Sahara Sand to make them more visible.)
Thanks again for visiting with me!!

Inspired Lilacs
Hi, everyone!! Today's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to choose a photo from this Shabby Chic Pinterest board as inspiration for your card/project. My fave photo on the entire board was of these gorgeous lilacs.....the colors really spoke to me! I stamped the 'Lilac' image (from Our Daily Bread designs) three times, fussy cut each with craft knife and scissors, sponged with pink, highlighted with a purple marker, dotted with liquid pearls, then adhered to a pink card base which was embossed with a Brocade embossing folder. The sentiment is from 'My Friend', also by ODBD. The little satin bow was tied with a Bow Easy. A few spritzes of Pearl Glimmer Mist were added at the end, but the sparkles were camera shy again! I will also be submitting this to the DTGD14JBgreendawn challenge, which is a secret unless you are a Splitcoast Fan Club member! :)
Thanks for visiting! Just a warning....you will be seeing a lot of posts from me this weekend and throughout next week since it's time for the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges over at Splitcoast for the Fan Club Members!!

Our Daily Bread designs August New Releases!!
Hey there!! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs August New Release party!!! We have loads of summer fun for you this time around.....enjoy!!!
Visit the designer blogs listed below and leave a comment for each for one in three chances to win a $15.00 gift certificate towards stamps at Our Daily Bread designs. You have until Saturday, August 2nd at 9 pm EDT to finish.....the winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Sunday, August 3rd.
Here are the new stamps and dies featured in my post for today, for my two new projects and sneak peeks which I shared earlier in the week:
My first sample is an 8 x 8 scrapbook page which features a sentiment from Life is Better, the image from Anchor the Soul, along with the following items from the July release: Pennant Swag Alphabet (small letters), the Pennant Alphabet (larger letters), and the ODBD Custom Pennants Die Set. The photos are from a cruise on which my hubby and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary back in May (if you look close, you can see the cruise ship in the background.)
My next project is a card I made using the Ocean Treasures set. The sand dollar was stamped in black onto kraft cardstock, sponged with blush ink, highlighted with a white chalk marker, then the whole thing was clear embossed. The white panel behind the sand dollar was stamped with the same image, but in blush ink.....this looks really pretty in the real, but the light ink was camera shy.
Here are some sneak peeks which I shared on my blog and in my Splitcoast and ODBD galleries this week:

Thanks so much for hanging out with me and my Sistah Sticks today!!
God bless!!

Hope Anchors the Soul
Hello there!! I'm back with another Sneak Peek.....can't get enough of the new stamps from Our Daily Bread designs!!! This card features the new "Anchor for the Soul" set, which will be available on August 1st....only two sleeps away!! :)
I used the Sketch Challenge from Splitcoast for the layout. The image was stamped in Stazon Jet Black, then colored with markers and sponges. I cut out a mask to cover the image while I sponged the background scene over pieces of scratch paper. For the #2 panel, I cut a piece of burlap ribbon in half, frayed the edges, then used the leftover strings to stretch across the image and tie in the button. This is a birthday card for a co-worker....his fave color is navy blue, so I designed the card around that.
I will be submitting this to the ODBD Shining the Light Challenge, for sponging or stenciling....you still have a few more days to enter!!!
I'll probably see you again tomorrow with one more sneak peek before the release on Friday!!!

My Lifeguard
Hi, everyone!! Here is another sneak peek for the August release from Our Daily Bread designs. The image and sentiment are from 'My Lifeguard', which will be available on August 1st. For my card, I temporarily adhered two pieces of scratch paper to my white card, then stamped and sponged the scene before removing the masks. I wanted to keep it simple as possible, so just added a button and linen thread. I will be submitting this to the Our Daily Bread designs 'Shining the Light Challenge' which is to stencil or use sponging.
Thanks again for visiting with me!!

Happy Summer Flip Flops
Hello there!! Here is a second entry for this week's Splitcoast Color Challenge of aqua, teal, and coral. The flip flop border stamp and sentiment are from 'Life is Better', cut out with the 'ODBD Custom Flip Flop Border Die', and the shells were fussy cut from the image in the 'Anchor the Soul' set, all available August 1st from Our Daily Bread designs. Behind the flip flops is a panel which was embossed with 'Sand' embossing powder. Wanted to keep it simple so added a couple of scored lines with my Scor-buddy, some baker's twine, and two aqua pearls.
Thank you for stopping by!!

Let Jesus Lead the Way
Hi, everyone!! Woo hoo....it's the first day for Sneak Peeks from Our Daily Bread designs August New Releases!!! Today's Color Challenge over at Splitcoast gave a perfect opportunity to showcase the new 'Walk with Jesus' set (available Aug 1st). The Color Challenge is to use Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay, and Pool Party with the 'dessert' option of watercoloring, so I cut a panel of smooth watercolor paper and used the three colors to lightly watercolor streaks for the background, matted it with coral, paper pierced the edges, then popped it up over the Pool Party card base.
Don't forget about the big sale over at Our Daily Bread designs and sister companies North Coast Creations and Artistic Outpost through Saturday, August 2nd!!
