Hello!!! I'm back with another challenge combo card which covers 6 challenges for Dare To Get Dirty week! Sorry, can't reveal the challenge details here....Fan Club members only! For my one layer card, I used one of my fave sets EVER from Our Daily Bread designs, 'The Shepherd'. The little lamb image was stamped in black onto a white card, then the background was sponged using masking. To extend the scene across the card, extra daffodils were stamped on either side, using masking. The clouds were sponged over a torn piece of scratch paper; the grass was sponged over a straight piece of scratch paper, then the image was colored with markers (the pointillism technique was used both on the lamb with a blush marker and on the ground with three different green markers).
Thanks for visiting with me!
Blessings,
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Dena aka drekow....congrats, Dena!! What a wonderful gallery!! I chose this CAS beauty for inspiration. I'm trying to create more cards with lots of open space....my tired brain can't handle too many layers nowadays! :) For my one layer card, I decided to go with a one layer pink card, stamped the ODBD 'Boho Cross' and sentiment from 'Boho Blessings' in black, then colored with a pink marker. As on Dena's card, the only embellishment used was one gemstone. I will also be submitting this for one of the Dare To Get Dirty challenges.
Thanks for dropping by!
Blessings,
Happy Saturday!! After a busy week at work, I'm happy to get back to my stampy room today!! The Dare To Get Dirty Challenges are wrapping up....I only have a few days to upload my entries....eek! This card combines several Dirty challenges plus today's Inspiration Challenge which is all about Starbucks! Though I'm too cheap to buy their coffee, I did have fun looking at the website......I chose this photo for inspiration to help me make a birthday card for a co-worker who is a coffee addict like me! I used the North Coast Creations 'What's Brewin'?' set, along with the 'Winter Paper Collection' and ODBD Custom 'Sparkling Stars' Dies from Our Daily Bread designs. The cup image was stamped, fussy cut, then covered in Versamark and heat embossed with Espresso brown powder. To match the glittery pattern from the paper, the little stars were cut out of copper paper. Some of the steam trails were drawn in by hand with an espresso marker (this hand-drawing technique proves that I'm a stamper, NOT an artist! lol!)

Thanks for visiting with me today!
Have a blessed weekend!!
Hi, everyone! I'm back! Squeezed in another challenge for Dare to get Dirty week at Splitcoast....this card was made for the DTGD15rainy challenge using the following product from Our Daily Bread designs: ODBD 'Beautiful Boho' Paper Collection and the 'Boho Blessings' stamp set. The butterfly was stamped in green, colored with mustard and poppy, then cut out with the largest die in the ODBD Custom 'Fancy Fritillary' Dies set.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper is Carol Payne....congrats, Carol! I chose this beautiful card to re-create using the North Coast Creations 'Deer Silhouette Greetings' stamp set for the image, bird from the ODBD Custom Birdcage and Banner' Dies, plus the ODBD Custom 'Boho Background' Dies set (used for embossing instead of cutting). I will also be submitting this for kittie747's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge.
Thanks for visiting!
Blessings,
Hi again! Since this is Dare To Get Dirty week at Splitcoast for Fan Club members, you will see quite a few blog posts from me as I try to do as many challenges as possible. This card was made for Dina's first challenge (diniA). I used a new set from North Coast Creations, called 'Ice Cream'. For DTGD week, I want to make as many CAS cards as possible and this fun stamp set was perfect for a one layer card. Once it was colored (with sponges and markers), I added some stickles to the ice cream and whipped cream layers and some matching baker's twine.
Thanks again for visiting!

Hi, everyone! This is Dare To Get Dirty week over at Splicoast....a week full of special challenges for Fan Club members only. I can share the details of each card, but not the details of the challenges....if you are a Fan Club member, you will know by the keyword.
This card is for Lydia's first challenge (DTGD15UnderstandblueA). This card took me waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone! I rarely use any 'messy' techniques, but for this I swiped four different stamp pads directly to the cardstock, then flicked water drops all over, then flicked some Glimmer Mist droplets as well. The butterfly image and sentiment are from 'Boho Blessings' by Our Daily Bread designs.
Thanks for stopping by!
God bless!
