Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs March New Release Blog Hop!!! As usual, we are super excited to share a brand new group of stamps and two new cutting die sets too....Woo Hoo!!! Check out all of the New Releases HERE!
If you have hopped here from Sabrina's fabulous blog, then you are in the right place. If not, please head over to the ODBD Blog and start from the beginning.....you don't want to miss a thing!! There is a full link list there in case there are any broken links along the way. The hop will run until Saturday, March 2nd at 8pm EST and the winners will be announced on March 3rd. This time around there will be five blessed hoppers who will receive a $20.00 toward stamps at Our Daily Bread designs!! Thanks, Kelley!!!
My first sample today features the new "Pussy Willow Background" stamp and the egg image from the "Pussy Willow and Egg" set.
I stamped the background on white, "fussy-cut" the entire image, colored it with markers, then popped it up with foam tape over a sponged sky background. The bird-nest was made by cutting tiny strips of Kraft cardstock and rolling it and crumpling it around and gluing the pieces a few at a time. For the final touch, white Flower Soft was added to create a bit of reality.
My second sample, an 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 scrapbook layout of me and hubby on our 20th anniversary cruise last year, features the "Happy Marriage Recipe" single, the ODBD Exclusive "Recipe Card and Tags" die set, "Baking Gift Tags", and "Baking Tag Sentiments":
Earlier this week, I shared a couple of sneak peeks of the March New Releases:
Thanks for sticking with me through this lengthy post! Hope you are enjoying all of the samples today!
Your next stop will be with the ultra-talented Dawn Lusk.......I know that she has baked up something sweet for you!!
Happy Hopping and God bless!!

Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the
way, go to the ODBD blog for the full link list. One of the posts is a hop
hot spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win
a $15 ODBD store gift certificate. So, all you have to do is hop
along and see all the creations and leave a little love! You have
until Wednesday,May, 23rd at 6 pm EST. The winner will be announced May 24th! Enjoy all the awesome inspiration using For the Love of ODBD Spellbinder's Compatible sets!
For my sample today, instead of a card, I have created a layout using the "Flower Border" single stamp, which coordinates with the Spellbinders Labels 18 set. This "Flower Border" made a perfect frame for my great-niece, Kylinne....isn't she adorable? I have also used the "Large Scrapbook Words" set for the sentiment, plus the "2-step Butterflies" which were cut out with the matching "Grunge Butterfly" cutting die. The olive mat was stamped with the Flower Border, then layered with the matted photo. I stamped the Flower Border on white, colored, cut out, and popped up the flowers with foam tape, matching over the olive image.

Along with helping out with the hop today, I have combined several ODBD Challenges as well. The Shining the Light Challenge on Saturday was to create any size layout using ODBD stamps. This month's Let Your Light Shine Scrapbook Challenge is the fabbie sketch below.....very fun!! Also, over at the ODBD Forum, the Gems of Inspiration Scrapbook Challenge is "Anything Goes" to help celebrate National Scrapbooking Day!!
Your next stop will be with the super sweet and talented, Chris Olsen! Enjoy the rest of the hop!!!
Thanks for stopping by today! God bless!
Happy Thursday, everyone!! This week I have combined the Bible Verse Thursday Challenge from Christian Paper Crafts with the Stamping In Time: On Assignment Challenge with Our Daily Bread designs. I just love to combine challenges, don't you?
Since this is the last week for Breast Cancer Awareness month, this week's theme for Bible Verse Thursday is to create something pink, as long as it has a scripture verse. It doesn't have to be totally pink, but pink should be your primary focus for your card, layout, or altered item. This week I thought I would cause everyone to faint and create a layout! My Aunt Ruth lost her battle with cancer nearly two years ago, and I wanted to pay tribute to one of my favorite "Angels"! Since I knew I wanted to create a layout, I also used a few of the monthly scrapbook challenges at Christian Paper Crafts...one challenge is called "Copy That", where you get your inspiration from an ad copy provided (which inspired the sideways title); the Stamper's Delight challenge is to stamp on your designer paper; the Simple Blueprints for Scrapbooking is a sketch layout, which I flipped on it's side.

Now, on to the Stamping In Time: On Assignment Challenge with Our Daily Bread designs! This week Betty is challenging us to use our favorite embellishment on our project, along with our ODBD stamps. My three very fave embellies are Zva Creative Pearls, Glimmer Mist, and May Arts Satin Ribbon.....I used pearls and lots of "Pearl" Glimmer Mist on this layout. You have two week to submit for the challenge for a chance to win $ toward ODBD stamps....upload a direct link for your project HERE.Check out the gorgeous samples for this challenge:
