Divinity Designs LLC September Design Team Color Challenge
Hi, everyone! It's time for another Design Team Color Challenge over at Divinity Designs LLC! The featured paper collection this month is Christmas Collection 2018....I love the soft colors and patterns from this collection. I chose two different patterns from the paper pack, along with the 'White As Snow' Stamp/Dies Duos set, Large Banners Dies, and Pierced Rectangles Dies. To give it a country feel, I used kraft cardstock, linen thread, and sponged the panels. Clear sequins were added to go with the snowy theme.

Part of My Story
Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a quick and easy card which was created for my niece's birthday. I found this Wrinkle Free Distress panel in my stash, then added pewter embossing using three different stamp sets from Stampin Up: Part of My Story, Organic Grace, and Pressed Flowers. Wisteria ribbon was added (bow tied with a Bow Easy), along with lavender pearls. Since the background panel was already done, the embossing and finishing touches only took about fifteen minutes or so....yay!!

One of my Peeps!
Hi, everyone! After creating my last barnyard card, I had some 'parts and pieces' laying on my desk from the 'Barn Dies' set from Divinity Designs and I envisioned a chicken! I grabbed some red and orange scraps, cut the comb with the hay die and the beak is the cut-out piece from the barn door....if you can't visualize it, take a look at the die set HERE. The two panels were cut out with the Double Stitched Squares Dies, the sentiment is from 'Hogs and Kisses', and the gingham bow was tied with a Bow Easy. I was so happy to find a large googlie eye in my eyeball stash!!

Divinity Designs LLC September New Release
Hi, everyone! It's time for another brand new release from Divinity Designs LLC!! To see the entire new release and all of the gorgeous designer projects, plus find out how to win some goodies, click HERE!
Here are the products used to create my card and to decorate the matching purse hanger hook:
My card today features the new 'Perk Up' Stamp/Die Duos set, along with the Letter Board Dies set, tiny hearts from the 'Clouds and Raindrops' Dies, and medium thumb tack from the USA Map Dies set. The coffee pot and cup were stamped with Stazon Jet Black, cut out with the custom dies, watercolored, highlighted with a white gel pen, then coated with a clear glaze pen. The small letters, raised embossed areas of 'Coffee', hearts, and the black thumb tack were coated with the clear glaze pen as well. The card base was scored with a Scor-buddy and the edges were inked for added dimension.
My second project is a decorated 'Purse Hanger' hook......to hang your bag onto the table edge instead of sitting it on the floor. A circle was cut from ivory cardstock and edges sponged, the 'coffee' word was stamped with one of the sentiments from the 'Perk Up' Stamp/Die Duos set by using masking. The cup was watercolored and cut out like the card above. After the tiny heart was added, Glossy Accents were used to fill in the complete space. This was really easy to make, however, waiting two days to make sure the gloss was completely cured was NOT easy....I've ruined too many projects in the past by touching it to see if it was dry so I made myself wait this time! :)
Because of the awesome price, I purchased a handful of these hooks from the company from which I buy my magnet cards and storage boxes for my cutting dies, Stamp-n-Storage. (Click on 'hook only' on the wastebasket page.)
