Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Jeanne aka Penny627.....congrats, Jeanne!!! I chose this awesome card to recreate....I loved the clever design with the curved edge and designer paper showing through from the inside. Since this is a masculine birthday card, I decided to use kraft cardstock instead of white. The image and sentiment from 'Plough the Fields' was stamped in black onto the kraft card; the edge was cut using the ODBD Custom Leafy Edged Borders Dies. The same die was used to cut the plaid designer paper from the ODBD Ephemera Essentials Paper Collection which was adhered to the inside right edge of the card. Sponging and linen thread were added to complete the masculine look.

Warm Winter Night
Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to find inspiration from the creative packaging ideas from the Dieline Packaging website....I fell in love with the colors and snowflake design of this Bath and Body Works packaging! For my card, I began with a rectangle panel cut with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies; cut snowflake masks from post-it paper with the ODBD Custom Snow Crystals Dies and placed them on the white panel. Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss inks were sponged over the masks. Once the masks were removed, tiny snowflakes were stamped and the sentiment from 'Snowflake Sentiments' was silver embossed. Both the mat (cut out with the ODBD Custom Snowflake Sky Dies) and silver snowflake were cut from silver mirror paper. A glitter pen was used to add a bit more sparkle. (Note: the snowflakes and frame die will be available on November 1st.)

The Love Of God Guides Every Good
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Bev Polen aka guneauxdesigns.....congrats, Bev!!!! I chose this amazing card....the sunset and sponged scene really drew me in! For my card, I started by cutting a rectangle panel with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies, then stamped the scene with the North Coast Creations 'Deer Silhouette Greetings' set. The sentiment is from an Our Daily Bread designs set, 'St. Patrick's Day'. The scene was sponged using masking. This was a very quick and easy card....this one is for my nephew's birthday next week.

The Armor of God
Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a birthday card which I made for one of my brothers. The image from 'Armor of God' was stamped twice on white, then the knight plus an additional shield were cut out with the ODBD Custom 'Suit of Armor' Dies. A clear glaze pen was used around the image as a resist since I wanted to color everything with sponge daubers. After sponging, some additional coloring with markers was added. The small words are from a coordinating set, 'Full Armor' and the designer paper is from the ODBD 'Nautical Paper Collection'. The paper design is actually rope but in these colors I thought it looked a bit like chain mail. Other items used: ODBD Custom Stitched Ovals Dies, ODBD Custom Ovals Dies, and ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies.

Happy 1st Birthday!
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Dayanna Donng aka jaydee.....congrats, Dayanna! I chose this adorable birthday card since her cute bear reminded me of the bear from 'Under the Stars' by Stampin Up. I kept the basic rectangle layout, but instead of streamers, I incorporated a balloon with baker's twine. I used party hats from the North Coast Creations 'Birthday Murphy' image since I didn't have any top hat stamps. I have also used the following items from Our Daily Bread designs: ODBD Custom Happy Birthday Dies, ODBD Balloons and Streamers Dies, ODBD Custom Numbers Dies, ODBD Custom Clouds and Raindrops Dies, ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies. I normally do not like to combine stamp companies on a project, but sometimes it's necessary to create the vision in your head! :) This card is for a nephew who just turned one.

Inspired Sympathy Cards Times Six
Happy Saturday, everyone! This week's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to choose one of the projects from Audrie's Inspiration Genius Board over at Pinterest......I am so tickled that quite a few of my cards have made it there in the past!!! Unfortunately, I have many sympathy cards to make, for two different losses in the past week. I chose this gorgeous card by Julia Aston as inspiration.....I loved it so much that I used the same design for six different cards. The flourish vine is from 'Belles Vignes'; the sentiment is from 'Loving Memories'; the die cut birds are from the ODBD Custom Birdcage and Banner Dies set; the rectangles were cut from the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies (the black die-cut panels were re-sized to match Julia's design).
Here is a view of all six cards together and then separate photos of each color.
Thanks for visiting today!
Have a very blessed weekend!

You Take the Cake!
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper is Fran Gumprecht aka Francie G.....congrats, Fran!!! I chose this cute scenic card to case. This is a birthday card for a co-worker, who asked for a bear-themed card. I LOVE this bratty bear from the Stampin Up set, 'Under the Stars'....he tickles my funny bone!!! Since I do not have alcohol blending markers, I colored him with sponge daubers using masking for the different sections. (Before sponging him, a clear glaze pen was used on his teeth to act as a resist.) The trees are from 'Wide Open Spaces', the little cake is from 'Simply Sweet', and the fun sentiment is from 'Sassy Sayings 2'. The clouds were sponged over a punched scalloped circle. Paper piercing and linen thread were added as finishing touches.

Our Daily Bread designs October New Releases
Hi, everyone! Welcome to the October New Release party for Our Daily Bread designs!!! We have another beautiful release to share with you this month.....see all of the new stamps, dies, and paper collection HERE. If you'd like a chance to win one of three gift certificates, follow the instructions below:
* Sandee * Cathy * Dawn * Lori * Robin * Julie * Diana *
* Angie (that's me!) * Chris * Grace * Lisa * Sabrina * Kathy *
Here are the new and previously released products from Our Daily Bread designs which are featured in my two cards below:
For my first card, I chose a beautiful pattern from the ODBD Christmas Card Collection 2016, along with eggplant cardstock and an ivory shade which looks like parchment paper. The wonderful image from 'Our Savior's Birth' was stamped in eggplant, cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Ovals Dies, stenciled in lilac, then matted with the ODBD Custom Ovals Dies. The die-cut frame was cut out with the ODBD Custom Layered Lacey Ovals Dies. I just HAD to use the 'Love' die from the ODBD Custom Faith, Hope, and Love Dies set because of the awesome sentiment. The ivory panel and designer paper were cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies. (Please forgive the 'bland' photo....after many photos, this was the best I could do! Please click on the photo for a better view.)
For my second card, I used the 'Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh' sentiment from 'Our Savior's Birth' on three different jars. The stamp has all three words together, but I masked them so that I could stamp one at a time. The 'Apothecary Bottles' were stamped on ivory cardstock, sponged, then cut out with the ODBD Custom Apothecary Bottles Dies. The fancy labels are from 'Joy in a Jar'; these were cut out with the ODBD Custom Antique Labels Dies. For the jar on the left, I stamped the 'Cathedral Window - Marble' onto vellum, colored the sections with markers, then cut it to fit the jar. I used burlap ribbon at the bottom and linen thread around the necks of the jars. The caramel background panel was cut with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies, the edges were sponged, then yellow gemstones were added.
Thanks for hanging out with us today!
God bless!
