My first sample features the new 'Ice Cream Shoppe' set, along with the following items from sister company, Our Daily Bread designs: 'Patriotic Paper Collection', the little hearts from the ODBD Custom 'Clouds and Raindrops' Dies, striped awning was cut with the ODBD Custom 'Window Shutter and Awning' Dies, and both dies from the ODBD Custom 'Pennant Row' Dies set to create the banner. The ice cream float image was stamped onto red mirror paper and white cardstock, then pieced together. The top was colored light brown then covered in stickles to make it look like root beer fizz; the straw and cherry were colored then covered with Glossy Accents. I used the same mirror paper to cut out the little hearts for the banner. The awning was cut twice, pieced together, scored and folded, then shaped with foam tape to make it solid. The bottom piece of designer paper was shaped to mimic a counter-top, but hind-sight tells me I should have added a little doily to make it look real.
My second sample features the 'Ice Cream' set, along with a fresh summer-y pattern from the ODBD 'Blooming Garden Paper Collection', and an early sneak peek of a new die set (ODBD Custom 'Stitched Ovals' Dies) which will be released on August 1st (shhhhh, it's a secret!) Since my first card took quite some time to make, I decided on a clean and simple approach for the 2nd. After stamping and coloring the image, I added Glossy Accents and stickles to ramp it up a bit, plus a few sequins. To match the shimmer of the stickles, I used sheer ivory ribbon which had a little sparkle to it.

Love both your cards! Love the colors and detail ON the first, and equally love your 2nd CAS version!
The glossy accents on the glass holding the sundae really makes the glass look so real!

Oh my word! Angie girl I love your cards! How cute! Love how you did the awning and pennant on the patriotic one and the soft yellow of the second is beautiful!
Both of these are wonderful, Angie! I love the red glass on the first. It looks awesome! And the colors & glossy accents on the second are super!
