Hi, everyone! Wow, it's August already! Time for another new fabulous release from Divinity Designs LLC! Check out the entire release, designer samples, plus info on how to win some goodies by clicking HERE!
Below are all of the items used in my projects today:
My first card is a Z-fold with scenes on the front and back, so there are four photos in order to share all of the details. The card base was cut from a 6 x 12 piece of cardstock with the new 'Z-Fold with Layers Dies' set. All of the adorable animals were stamped and cut with the 'Farm Friends' Stamp/Die Duos set (LOVE THESE!!); the barn and silo were cut from the 'Barn' Dies set; the fences were cut with the 'Farm Fence' Die; the three sentiment stamps are all from the 'Farmer's Prayer' set. Additional dies used: 'Clouds and Raindrops', 'Grass Lawn', 'Squares', and 'Pierced Squares'. The first photo shows the front of the card when it's closed up.
This view shows the front and the two inside panels.
Next is a close up view of the scripture verse from Deuteronomy and the Farmer's Prayer.
The next view shows the backside of the card. An extra barn and silo were die cut and adhered carefully to mirror the front. A tiny section of the roof line on the left was trimmed out so that the fold of the card wouldn't be too thick to close.
My next card features the 'Rise and Shine' stamp set, along with the new 'Chicken Wire Background' Die, 'Weathered Wood' Paper Collection, Double Stitched Circles Dies, Circles Dies, Double Stitched Pennant Flags Dies, Pennant Flags Dies, and the buttons from the 'Sewing Set' Dies set. The rooster was stamped with Stazon Jet Black onto watercolor paper and was colored with pencils....I liked the rough texture of it, so I didn't watercolor to blend the pencils. The background was sponged, using masking. Two different sizes of burlap ribbon were added plus linen thread for the buttons, which were die cut then coated with a clear glaze pen.
My third card is a quick and easy card created with the goat stamp and die from the 'Farm Friend' Stamp/Die Duos set and a sentiment from the 'Hogs and Kisses' stamp set. If you've been around goats, you will know that they can climb and balance on anything, so I thought it would be fun to have them stacked on top of one another! Score lines were added for a little 'something' but no embellishments were added.
Thanks for hanging out with us today!
Blessings,

What fabulous cards Angie - they are all stunning, but the one I love the most is the rooster one - that really appeals to me, and the final birthday one really gave me a smile, thank you
