Alcohol Ink Eclipse Birthday

Hi, everyone!  Today I would like to share another eclipse card (yes, I'm obsessed with both the eclipse technique AND my alcohol inks!!)  I began by spritzing rubbing alcohol over a Yupo paper panel, then adding alcohol inks here and there, some drops and some lines.  Since the alcohol was spritzed first, it made the alcohol inks more fluid and I blew them around a bit.  Once the inks were dry, the panel was cut out with the Divinity Designs Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies; one of the dies from the 'Birthday' Stamp/Die Duos set was cut out of the inked panel, then four more times with indigo cardstock.  The Yupo panel was adhered to a indigo panel. One of the turquoise 'birthday' die cuts was glued into the cut out, then the alcohol ink extra cut out pieces (loops inside the letters) were inserted into the indigo word.  The other indigo die cut 'birthdays' were layered with the alcohol ink 'birthday' on the top.  To make it a true 'eclipse', the tiny pieces from your top piece are to be glued down into the bottom layer to show dimension.  The sentiment panel was cut from the 'Treat Tags Dies' set, using the Die Re-sizing Technique to customize the size of the tag....see a tutorial here.  Three hot pink pearls were added after everything was matted and put together.
