Here are the new and previously released items featured in my two projects below:
My first card is a CAS and OLC design (Clean and Simple) and (One Layer Card), featuring the new "Howdy" set. No one said that this silhouette has to be a guy, so I made this birthday card for my niece who is a horse lover and 100% country girl. I made a mask by tearing a piece of scratch paper, temporarily adhered both sides to my white card base, sponged purple and pink, removed the masks and stamped the silhouette and sentiment in black. Baker's twine and three pink pearls were added for embellishments.
My second card features both the "Howdy" set and "Ride 'Em Cowboy" set, along with the Wood Background stamp, ODBD Custom Fence Die, ODBD Custom Pierced Ovals Dies, ODBD Custom Ovals Dies, ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies and the ODBD Custom Circles Dies (to cut a mask to sponge the sun). The large cactus from "Howdy" was stamped in green then fussy cut. The scripture verse and half of the image from "Ride 'Em Cowboy" was stamped in green, cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Ovals Dies and matted with the ODBD Custom Ovals Dies set. Using a die from the ODBD Custom Circles Dies set, a mask was created in order to sponge the orange sun. The background panel (cut out and "re-sized" into a square with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies set) and green fence (cut with the ODBD Custom Fence Die) were stamped in green with the Wood Background stamp. Linen thread was sewn into the top corner (after piercing with a paper piercer) to coordinate with the thread woven around the fence.
Thanks for hanging out with us today!
Blessings,

Your niece will love the card!
2 outstanding Western card creations! Loving the color choices and layouts - fabulous job! TFS and for the hop - may your week be filled with God's blessings - enjoy your day!
The horse card is perfect for the female rider and a refreshing take for the challenge. On the second card, I like the layout, especially the fence in front and the accents you've done with twine.
I love that you chose to make a slightly feminine cowboy card. The colors pink and purple look so great together and the overall card is elegant.
Wonderful card designs with these new stamps.
Neat cards. Great job!
