Our Daily Bread designs December New Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs December New Release Blog Hop!!!!  I can't wait for you to see all of the gorgeous projects  today throughout the hop!!!  I am your first stop for today.  If you get lost somewhere along the hopping route, please go back to the ODBD Blog, where all of the links (and details to win) are listed.  Just hop from one blog to the next, leave a comment, then head back to the ODBD Blog and let us know that you have finished.  The hop will run until Sunday, December 2nd, at 8 pm EST and the winners will be announced on Monday on the ODBD Blog.  Speaking of winners, three lovely hoppers will win a $20 gift certificate to the ODBD Store and one blessed hopper will win a gift certificate for $75.00!!!  Woo hoo!

I have chosen the following sets to feature here today:

Our Daily Bread designs "Sparkling Sentiments"

Our Daily Bread designs "Sparkling Snowflakes"

ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders Snowflakes Die Set

Our Daily Bread designs "Snowflake Background"

ODBD Snowy Blessings

For my first card, I started by embossing the "Snowflake Background" and sentiment from "Snowy Blessings" with copper embossing powder, then added some sponging, paper piercing, pearls, and a Bo Bunny "Snowfall" embellishment which matched perfectly.

ODBD Snowflake Background, Snowy Blessings Designer Angie Crockett
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Snowflake Background' and 'Snowy Blessings';
Cardstock: Stampin Up 'Not Quite Navy' and 'Very Vanilla';
Ink: Versamark Pad (for embossing), Ranger 'Antique Linen' and Stampin' Up 'Not Quite Navy';
Accessories: Bo Bunny 'Snowfall' Trinket, Ranger Copper Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, paper piercer and template, foam tape, sponge daubers, Zva Creative pearls;
Size:A2.

My second sample features "Sparkling Snowflakes", which I embossed on white cardstock with Holographic Embossing Powder (it's difficult to photograph, but there is a rainbow of colors in there!), cut them out with the new "ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders Snowflakes Die Set", then sponged the edges (and centers) to make them stand out!  The sentiment is from "Snowflake Sentiments".  When finished, I sprayed lots of 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist for some added sparkle against the amethyst card.

ODBD "Sparkling Snowflakes" and "Snowflake Sentiments" Designer Angie Crockett
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Sparkling Snowflakes' and 'Snowflake Sentiments';
Cardstock: Stampin Up 'Almost Amethyst' (retired) and 'Whisper White';
Ink: Versamark (embossing) and Stampin Up 'Elegant Eggplant';
Accessories: ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders Snowflakes Dies, May Arts Ric-rac, Zva Creative Pearls, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, Stampin Up 'Hologram Highlights' Embossing Powder, Corner Rounder;
Size: A2.

Lastly, I made a gift tag with the new Snowflake Dies.  I scored and folded a piece of cardstock, cut the shaped card (see tutorial here) just as I do with full size cards, then cut a piece of designer paper to adhere to the top layer in order to hide the flat fold of the card.  I had planned on layering several snowflakes, but my back gave out, so I added a rhinestone to the second snowflake and called it a night!  :)

ODBD "Sparkling Snowflakes" and "Snowflake Dies" Designer Angie Crockett

Supplies used:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Sparkling Snowflakes' (on Kraft layer);
Ink: Stazon White and Ranger 'Antique Linen' (sponging on the green);
Accessories: ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders Snowflakes Die Set, Zva Rhinestone.

Thanks for sticking with me through my long post today!  Your next stop is with my dear, sweet, creative, (and humble) Sistah Stick, Sabrina!!!!

Enjoy the rest of the hop!  Have a blessed weekend!!

Snowflakes are such a wonderful example of God's creativity, and it is wonderful that the ODBD team has provided them in such lovely stamps. Angie, your projects use such an array of colors and uses for the stamps! Thanks for sharing.

Angie!!
How very lovely are your ODBD December release projects!?!? My favorite is the first -- I love the copper hues-- using the background stamp on only a portion of the card , the sentiment, the embellishment----everything. Yep-- you are so right about the difficulty of capturing sparkle in a photo-/ I would figure that the hologram snowflake card would be my fave if. I could see more of the sparkle:). My daughter and I set up photography lighting and everything to try to capture the light reflecting sparkle--- but to no avail:). Praise The Lord--I will take you into the throne room this morning regarding the need for the manifestation of His healing for you:). be blessed

Three wonderful projects! My favorite is the card featuring the snowflake background and sentiment in copper.
The stars are perfect for so many cards, and having the dies makes short work of cutting them out.
And what a TAG to add to a gift - fabulous and delicious, too!

When it is time for a new release from ODBD, I just sit back and wait for you to inspire me. I always learn something new and I am so thankful to you for that. Another outstanding presentation.
