Happy Wednesday, everyone! Well, it's officially winter....it was snowing a couple of days ago here in Indiana!!! Since it was 70 over the weekend, the ground was not cold enough for the snow to stick, but the reality of winter has now set in! Perhaps I should have created a snowy scene for this card instead of blue sky and clouds?!
For my card today, I "fussy cut" the chickadees from the "Chickadee Ornament" set by Our Daily Bread designs to create a scene with the ODBD Windows Die set to make a birthday card for my brother. I traced the window die shape onto white cardstock, sponged some clouds (although they are not very visible here), then glued the chickadees and pinecones onto the panel before popping up the window frame over them with foam tape.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Chickadee Ornament' set;
Cardstock: Stampin Up 'More Mustard' and 'Whisper White';
Designer Paper: My Mind's Eye;
Accessories: Our Daily Bread designs Exclusive Spellbinders 'Windows' die set, painted brads, Stampin Up grosgrain ribbon, paper piercer and template, foam tape, sponge daubers;
Size: A2.
I will be submitting this card to the following challenges:
