Hi everyone! Have you seen this week's Shining The Light Sketch Challenge over at Our Daily Bread designs?! There are so many different ways this sketch can be interpreted...I had fun with it while I was making this card for a dear friend and co-worker. Instead of using rectangles behind the main panel, I used a Spellbinders Labels 8 die with My Mind's Eye designer paper, then cut the panel in half. The image and scripture from "The Light of Life" was also framed with the Labels 8 set.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Light of Life';
Cardstock: Stampin Up Always Artichoke and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: My Mind's Eye;
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin up Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze, Barely Banana, Going Gray, Creamy Caramel;
Accessories: Spellbinders Labels 8, Stampin up Artichoke Denim Ribbon, paper piercer, foam tape, sponge daubers;
Size: 5-1/2 x 4-1/2.
On the inside of the card, I used a strip of the leftover designer paper for a little extra "oompf"! Using those extra strips keeps my dsp scrap heap from taking over my room! :)
Thanks for stopping by today! God bless!

GREAT MASCULINE CARD. LOVE IT !!!
Angela, I hope you see this comment.
Didn't see an email address anywhere :)
I saw you once reviewed Flower Soft-Ultra Fine" crafting sand. I was wondering if you happened to have any laying around still and could tell me if it sinks in water.
I am making a sand fountain in my aquarium, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bdjFy-U0M4 is a good example of one if you have never seen one before) and I have been searching for neon-green sand that would work. I figured you might know!
Thanks,
Gary
Angie, what a gorgeous card!! I just love the masculine take on the sketch with the wood background paper and that lantern image. Stunning colors and design with the dies and etc. Thanks for supporting the Shining the Light challenge my friend. You are the best!!

Chris
