For my card sample, I have used the "Sweet Friendship" set, along with some gorgeous vintage designer paper from the My Mind's Eye "Lost and Found - Sunshine" collection. With beautiful papers like this, I love to let them do most of the work and only added a few embellishments. At times my "clean and simple" cards turn out to be "plain and boring", but I'm pretty pleased with how easy this one came together.Card 'Ingredients':

Love this card, especially the antique sewing machine. I have my great-grandmother's machine and this card brought back some great memories with my grandmother teaching me to sew on it. The colors, the pearls, the trim work are all amazing.

This is a very nostalgic looking card. You feel the "feeling" in it.
This is a card I would have loved to give to my grandmother. The soft colors, the old sewing machine so carefully spotlighted, the gorgous trims that she would have ohhhed and aweddd over. Plain, boring? I think not!
