Hello, everyone! Thanks for stopping by during this busy, busy week! Just wanted to share a card I made over the weekend for a tutorial for the ODBD Blog for the "Masking Technique".....I even made a video, which still scares the pants off of me!! Check out the video and post HERE. It shows how I used one Hydrangea stamp and created the entire bouquet using masking.
After stamping and coloring the bouquet, I cut around the edge and popped it up over a vase I created by using a Spellbinders Mega Oval die with Prima "Romantique" designer paper, cut the oval in two and cut off the end of the oval to create the bottom of the vase.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Hydrangea', 'Mini Tags 2';
Cardstock: SU Old Olive, Whisper White, Very Vanilla;
Designer Paper: Prima 'Romantique';
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, SU Blush Blossom, Barely Banana, Old Olive;
Accessories: Spellbinders Mega Ovals Die and Ribbon Tags Trio Three Die, Cheery Lynn Designs Lattice 2 Die, Zva Creative Pearls, May Arts Ribbon, Liquid Pearls, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, sponge dauber, foam tape;
Size: 6 x 5-1/2.
I have used the following challenges in the making of this card:
Our Daily Bread designs 'Shining the Light "NOEL" Challenge'....N=Nestabilities, O=Ovals, E=Embossed Die Cuts, L=Lace;
Crafty Pad: Anything But Christmas;
Sweet Stampin Challenge: Sparkle and Bling (Glimmer Mist, Liquid Pearls, and Pink Pearls used.
