Hi there!! Are you ready for a sneak peek of another new Our Daily Bread designs set? This image and sentiment are from an upcoming June release, called "Time". This is a card I made for my former boss, who retired two years ago. We worked together for 18 years and he always treated me like a daughter. Happy Birthday, Dick!!!!
The image and sentiment were embossed with silver embossing powder, then navy and caramel ink were sponged over it, using the emboss resist technique. The background designer paper is Bo Bunny 'Timepiece', the twill is by May Arts, the linen thread and silver brads are SU, and the sentiment tag was made by trimming the ends of one of the Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio die cut.
Happy Sunday, everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far!

Hi everyone! This is a birthday card for my dear friend, Pam. I used a couple of challenges from Christian Paper Crafts for inspiration. This week's Wednesday Case Artist Challenge is to choose a project from (my fellow Breadstick) Sandee's amazing gallery and re-create it. I chose this gorgeous card. Also, the Fun on Friday challenge is to use butterflies or flowers....I used both!!
Where oh where does the time go?! Just yesterday my niece was just a baby......now she is 22 and is a brand new momma to baby Kylinne Jayde!!!
This is a name frame I made for baby Kylinne's room, which is decorated with lots of "Tinkerbell" attire! The designer paper at the bottom is Prima (can't remember the name, but it is retired now), the sky was sponged using a scalloped circle, the chipboard letters were sponged with olive, and all of the Tinkerbells and little effects are stickers.
This is the matching card.....couldn't resist making a spinner card since Tinkerbell does spin around a lot when she flies!!! Same recipe as the nameframe work, except the sentiment is from an Our Daily Bread designs set, "Noah's Ark", the pearls are Zva Creative, and the ribbon is Stampin Up, as are the cardstock panels and ink.
This week's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast is to choose an item from the Plates and Napkins online store....so many different party items there! I chose this adorable Garden Fairy set .....perfect colors and so cute!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! You may be seeing a lot from me here this weekend.....lots of catching up to do! Have a blessed weekend!!

Happy 2nd Birthday to Christian Paper Crafts!!! I cannot believe it's been two years already! Seems like yesterday when Cindy asked me to be a part of this ministry! What a blessing these two years have been.....I have learned so much from the other Christian ladies at CPC and have grown in my faith thanks to them! Thanks so much, Cindy, for stepping out in faith, and starting up such a warm and wonderful community, where there is so much love and encouragement and prayer.....plus paper-crafting fun too!!!
Today we are having a "Birthday Blog Hop" and everyone is welcome to play along! Help us celebrate by creating a birthday themed card, layout, or altered item, and paste your direct link to the linky tool on the CPC Creative blog. Did I mention that there will be prizes?! See you there!!!
Welcome, everyone, to the Our Daily Bread designs' May New Release Blog Hop!!! Wow, do we have some awesome new stamps and accessories to show off today! To see all of the new "goodies", click HERE for the New Release post on the ODBD blog.
For my sample, I have used several new items which are being released today. The raised frame was created by stamping the Vintage Border stamp (from the "Porch" set) four times with SEI Chalk Ink, then cut out with the "Vintage Border Cutting Die", two of these borders were then cut at 45 degree angles on both ends and matched up with the other two borders to create a frame. The entire frame was then lined with Zva Creative pearls. The bottom panel was created by inking up the "Vintage Border Embossing Plate" with SEI chalk ink, then "de-bossing" the image into vanilla cardstock, and then sponging the edges. The tag stamp and sentiment are from "Mini Tags 3"; there are three tag sets this month, designed by fellow "Breadstick", Lorelie Kim, which can be cut out with Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio Three...how cool is that?! The flower is by Prima, the satin ribbon is by May Arts, the double bow was tied with a Bow Easy, and there are several sprays of "Pearl" Glimmer Mist for a sparkly finish!!
