Faux Silk Tutorial and Samples!
Happy Monday, everyone! I have two cards to share with you today, which I made while doing a "Faux Silk" tutorial over at the Our Daily Bread designs blog....check out the video and post HERE. Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Faithful Friend' (dragonfly), 'Sweet Friendship' (scripture);
Cardstock: Stampin Up 'Basic Black', 'Old Olive', and 'Whisper White';
Designer paper: Made with recycled tissue paper and stamps;
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin Up 'Old Olive' Marker, Spica Glitter Pen;
Accessories: Xyron Sticker Maker, paper piercer and template, Nestabling pearls;
My next sample also shows the 'Faux Silk' technique, but I've used patterned tissue paper instead of plain for the background.

Cardstock: Stampin Up 'Not Quite Navy' and 'Very Vanilla';
Designer Paper: Recycled tissue paper;
Ink: Stampin Up 'Not Quite Navy' and Ranger 'Antique Linen';
Accessories: Bow Easy, May Arts Satin Ribbon, Zva Creative Pearls, Xyron Sticker maker, foam tape, paper piercer and template;
Size: 5-1/2 x 5-1/2.
