Hakuna Matata!

Hi, everyone!  This week's Friday Free4All Challenge over at Splitcoast is to use 'Zoo Friends' on our projects.  For my card, I used the 'Safari Huge Thanks' set from Hero Arts.  The entire scene was sponged using masking and reverse masking.  Thanks to my MISTI, I was able to get crisp images with the black ink by stamping each image multiple times.  The A2 Thin Pierced Frame from Divinity Designs LLC was popped up with Foam Mounting Tape.

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,

30 Minutes Hello Tree

One of the greatest challenges for me is to make a quick card! I am super slow and wasn't sure I could pull off a 30 minute card.....it's a miracle! This card covers two Splitcoast challenges for this week: Color Challenge of Pink Passion, Chocolate Chip, and Old Olive(since I don't have Kiwi Kiss); also the Limited Supply Challenge: the limits were on time and to keep the embellies simple. It's kinda different for me, but I think I kinda like it! It's already been mailed to a friend who needs a lift right now....I hope she likes it! (No, I'm not telling you who it is!)
Anyhoo....this is a set I just received last week, called "Hello Tree" from Hero Arts. I colored the stamp directly with markers, then used reverse masking with a scallop punch to sponge the olive around the tree. Used cuttlebug dots ef for the background and main panel. Don't you just love this fun ribbon? I just found it at Michael's for 50 cents!!! Just can't pass up a bargain!!!
