Hi, everyone! This week's Sketch Challenge over at Splitcoast was challenging for me at first since it had quite a few different elements, but once I decided on the Crocheted Circle Poppy (and ODBD Custom Crocheted Circle Die), it went together pretty easily. The Crocheted Border was stamped in black, cut out with the ODBD Custom Crocheted Border Die, then was trimmed into sections by hand and placed around the bottom edge. The yellow panel was cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Rectangles Dies set; a rectangle was cut first, then the angled edge was cut with the same die, using the "out of the box" technique. The squares were cut out with the ODBD Custom Double Stitched Squares Dies (to match the rectangle). Both the card base and yellow panel were stamped in Versamark with the matching Crocheted Background stamp for a little texture. The sentiment is from 'Doily Blessings'.
Thanks for stopping by!
Blessings,

I love your card!! I looked at this sketch and thought it was going to be quite difficult. Your crocheted poppy caused me to go shopping, and I even found it on sale. What a beautiful job you did cutting out the sections by hand. I love the colors too. Thanks so much for the inspiration Angie!! :>)
