Hello, everyone! A few days ago, Jennifer aka mother's daughter was crowned Queen For The Day over at Splitcoast. She has soooo many cool techniques and gorgeous cards in her gallery....I could not pass up the opportunity to help her celebrate! I chose this beautiful card to re-create.
The background blue cardstock was dry embossed, then inked with burgundy, then the entire panel was covered in Versamark then Clear Embossing Powder and heated with a heat gun. I was going for a faux leather look, but I think I chose the wrong embossing folder for that effect....should have used a smaller pattern. The flower was made by layering several die cuts. The sentiment panel was stamped with the new Antique Labels, cut out with the ODBD Exclusive Antique Labels and Border Dies, then stamped with "You Are Blessed" from Fellowship Sentiments.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Antique Labels' and 'Fellowship Sentiments';
Designer Paper: Prima 'Botanical' (for leaves and sentiment panel);
Accessories: ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders 'Antique Labels and Border Dies', Spellbinders 'Foliage', 'Pockets and Swirls', and 'Blossoms Five', Sponge Dauber, Clear Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink, Heat tool;
Size: A2.
Thanks for stopping by! God Bless!!

Angie, it is beautiful. Even if it not quite the look you wanted, I think it is fabulous. Going into my favorites file.
