Our Daily Bread designs "For the Love Of Winged Things" Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, everyone! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs "For The Love Of...." Blog Hop! Twice a month, our fabulous Alumni Team hosts a brand new hop with a fun theme.....this time around it's "For the love of Winged Things"!  Many of ODBD's sets with "winged things", such as birds, butterflies, and dragonflies,  are being featured during the hop today.....hop to visit each participating designer, leave a comment, then head to the ODBD blog to let us know you have finished. You have until Wednesday, June 20th at 6pm EDT, to complete the hop.  One blessed hopper will win a $15.00 gift certificate to the ODBD store!

If you have hopped here from Silke's amazing blog, you are in the right place.  If not, please head over to the ODBD Blog and start at the beginning (or to see the complete hop list and deets).  Enjoy the hop!!

My first sample features "On Eagle's Wings", which goes way back to Our Daily Bread designs' first few months in business. This set is still as powerful as ever....it just shows you how versatile and resilient these stamps are!!

The trees at the bottom of the card are from the Robert Frost quote in Quote Collection 1.....I inked up the trees only with a marker and stamped across the bottom.

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'On Eagle's Wings' and 'Quote Collection 1';
Cardstock: Stampin Up Crumb Cake and Whisper White;
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin Up Always Artichoke, Creamy Caramel, Crumb Cake, and More Mustard;
Accessories: Foam Tape, Sponge Dauber, Stampin Up Artichoke Denim Ribbon;
Size: A2.

My second sample for today features the beautiful "Sing For Joy" set....I love all of the bird sets, but this one is the most fun to color for me. We have several pairs of cardinals which come to our bird feeder each day....they are so fun to watch!

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Sing For Joy' and 'Birch Background';
Cardstock: Stampin Up Marina Mist and Whisper White;
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin Up Markers;
Accessories: Spellbinders Labels 22 dies, Black Twill Ribbon, Paper Piercer and Template, sponge dauber, foam tape;
Size: A2.

Your next hopping stop is with the awesome and talented ......Sabrina!!!!  You will love what she has to share with you!

Thanks so much for hopping along with us!  God bless!

You did a beautiful job on both of these. (I was thinking about using my On Eagles Wings set just last night for a card, so this is a good prod to go ahead and do it.)

WOW! Both are so stunning! I still do not own that eagle set. I really love how you cut it out and popped it up a bit. Beautiful on the kraft! The red cardinal just pops on that blue! Stunning card! Beautifully done, Angie!

Wow, that eagle is really beautiful, and I love the way you have him flying over your forest. (I'm not just saying that because this is a blog hop, I really do love it)! The cardinal is just as beautiful. The red and blue look wonderful together, and the subtleness of the birch background is perfect!

I'm speechless! LOVE these cards, Angie! I'd never have thought to use the trees only from the Robert Frost quote--I will be using that idea for sure! Thanks for the inspiration! I'm jealous that you have cardinals--something I look forward to whenever I get to visit family in Indy.

These are gorgeous. I would sure be happy if ODB would come out with some dies that coordinate with some of the older sets (like the eagle). I did get the one that coordinates with the watering can in the birthday set and it is awesome!! Hoping for more like it!

Love the bird cards especially the eagle and the fact it reminds me of the bible verse featured.

Gorgeous cards!! Your coloring on the eagle with the white hi-lites really makes him stand out. Looks like he could fly right off the card. The red cardinal with the blue background is stunning.
