Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!! It's another hot one out today, so I'll be spending the day in my nice, cool stamp room....yay!! Today I made a card for a few challenges at Splitcoast, using a new set by Our Daily Bread designs, called "Loving Memories" (which will be released tomorrow!). The Cala Lily stamp from this set was stamped onto the olive cardstock with Versamark ink, for a subtle background, then the sentiment was stamped directly onto a doily cut with a Cheery Lynn Designs "French Pastry" doily die. The crocheted flower was sent to me a couple of years ago by fellow "Breadstick", sweet Chris Olsen......thanks, Chris!!!
Did you see this week's Our Daily Bread designs Shining the Light Challenge? It's Anything Goes as long as you use ODBD stamps.....sweet!!! Also, this week's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast is to choose an item for inspiration from the Denizmom Etsy store......I chose this adorable crocheted bunny due to the color scheme and rose print outfit....this was a perfect opportunity to use this crocheted flower from my precious RAK stash!
Also, I am really late, but didn't want to miss the opportunity to help celebrate last week's Queen For the Day, cathymac.....I loved the layout of this beautiful card, so I used it for my card today.....congrats, Cathy....love your work, darlin'!!
