Inspiration Challenge and More!

Happy Saturday, everyone! I'm so happy to have no plans today away from home, so that I can play in my stamp room! There are several challenges I have participated in during the making of this card. The Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast is to choose an item from the Artful Whimsy store.....I chose this pendant instantly, since I have a stamp with the exact sentiment, from the Our Daily Bread designs "Sentiments Collection"!!

I am also submitting to the following challenges:
Stampin Sisters In Christ: heavenly elements (angel wings);
The Pink Elephant Challenge: Vibrant Colors;
Sugar Creek Hollow: Make your own designer paper;
Perfect Sentiments: All about love and lacy elements (hopefully love for a friend counts for the challenge);
Our Creative Corner: use a Tim Holtz technique....I used tearing and distressing....on a tag.

To create the patterned butterfly, I inked up the Brocade Background stamp, "kissed" the 2-Step Butterfly stamp onto the inked background to pick up the design, stamped it onto vanilla cardstock, then cut it out with the custom "Grunge Butterfly Die".
.

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Plain Tag', 'Sentiments Collection', 'Brocade Background', '2-Step Butterflies' from the 'God's Love' set;
Cardstock: Stampin Up Very Vanilla;
Ink: Stazon Fuschia Pink, Stazon Timber Brown, and Ranger 'Antique Linen' Distress Ink;
Accessories: Our Daily Bread designs Custom Cutting Dies: 'Grunge Butterfly' and 'Tag Die', Mega Mount Stamp Block, Prima Lace, Stampin Up Vanilla Seam Binding, Stampin Up Button, Embroidery Thread, Zva Creative Pearls, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, Paper piercer and template, foam tape, sponge dauber;
Size: A2.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a very blessed weekend!

Gorgeous card, Angela! That paper you used is really gorgeous and the lace is divine! I love tags as embellishments and the sentiment is just beautiful. Not sure that tearing and distressing are TH techniques :) but I do thank you for joining in the fun with us this week at Our Creative Corner.
