Bible Verse Thursday / Stamping In Time Combo!

Happy Thursday, everyone!!! It's time for another Bible Verse Thursday / Stamping In Time challenge combo! This week's Bible Verse Thursday Challenge over at Christian Paper Crafts is all about FELLOWSHIP.......create a card, layout, or altered item with fellowship in mind.......create a card or gift for someone you love to fellowship with, what do you like to do or where do you like to go during fellowship, and so on.....stretch the challenge however you like....and don't forget the scripture verse!!!

I have used the "Confirmation" set by Our Daily Bread designs. I love this powerful verse and the dove image has always been one of my faves! The pattern on the image panel is from the "Brocade Background" stamp, and the stamped corners are from "Brocade Borders". The designer paper is Basic Grey "Curio", the pearls are by Zva Creative, the May Arts crocheted ribbon was tied with a Bow Easy, the border punch is EK Success Fleur De Lis, there are several sprays of "Pearl" Glimmer Mist, and I made a five-layer button from a scrap of the Curio designer paper. If you would like a tutorial on how to make your own matching buttons out of paper, please check out this post.

Today is also the beginning of the next bi-weekly Stamping In Time: On Assignment with ODBD challenge. The lovely and talented Sarah Nelson is our Guest Hostess this time around and is challenging us to use the theme: All Creatures Great and Small....use this theme any way you wish, as long as you use ODBD stamps as the main focus of your project. Check out these gorgeous samples:

Wow, Angie, This is Spectacular. At first, when I scrolled down, I only saw the oval with the Scripture. I thought it was a tag. Still beautiful...the paper piercing and pearls...and then you mentioned the brocade print...and I started rolling down the page!

This is absolutely spectacular. It was nice as a tag. But this is just over the top incredible. I love brocade...and the red is wonderful. I love the dove, and the lace and beautiful button are exceptional additions. I really like the corner accents both on the very final corners, and also on the piece of red that is under (around?) the Scripture piece.

Angie, this should be shown in a magazine for a cover or something like that. It really showcases His Word beautifully.

He IS Able,
Traci S.

Dear Angie,

I love coming to your blog. Your art is so finely detailed. I love your paper piercing. I would say that is your "tell-all" in knowing if the piece is yours or not. You do it perfectly. I love how you make cards to share the love of Jesus Christ with others. I love that you are patient beyond belief. I love that you design for one of the best organizations anywhere.

I would say I love your blog and enjoy you so much, that you should win an award! Well, you have! Please stop by the He IS Able blog, Monday's post...and see what it is all about!

Congratulations!

He IS Able,
Traci S.
